Gotta say, the infinite jump and wrench boosts really made it easy for me to get out-of-bounds on practically every planet. I freaking love it when games have glitches that let you zoom around at unimaginable speeds, especially for modern triple-A titles
great video, i do appreciate it! i wanted to speedrun this, but it seems a bit convoluted, and reliant on things i dont necessarily make for healthy player input
That's something I forgot to mention in settings! It just makes it easier for some people to find enemies when you have to kill them all, like in the final fight on Zordoom
@@grapemango8490 An option to have the in-game text be in the Croatian language. Voices are still English. Because the PS5 didn't have Croatian as a system language option, Insomniac added it themselves in the game. The only other Ratchet game with this language was the PS2 port of Size Matters (also text only).
Ate wrench boosts patched I’ve looked everywhere and some people say they are and some say you have to hold L2 which still doesn’t work for me I’m confused
There was a patch a while ago that stopped them from working, but the dev's had added code that made it work as it used to as long as you held L2. I'm unsure if there has been a patch since then removing these, I don't think there would have been, but the Ratchet & Clank Speedrunning Discord is the best place to look for an answer!
I forget the exact method, and it may have changed now with updates to the game, but from memory: -Have your save file be on a planet somewhere (Savali in this example) -Travel to a planet that swaps characters (Zurkies would work) -During the animation of the Ship flying to the planet, open up Photo Mode, then close Photo Mode (this forces the game to do an auto-save) -Quit the game before reaching the planet, then load the game again IIRC, this would result in Rivet on Savali, but I could be mis-remembering and it would be Ratchet in Zurkies
@@Snugggles Tried it on the PC release and it works the exact same Apparently Insomniac programmed a check for which character is used as Rivet cannot operate bolt cranks and Ratchet cannot use hammer cranks which can lead to some interesting scenarios where its impossible to progress without some really janky out of bounds platforming lol
Unsure, it's been a while since I've played myself - the Discord is probably the best place to ask, ideally with a video to show what you are doing to help figure it out

I'm happy that it's helpful! BWB's are a little awkward at first, it's fairly unusual movements that you have to do to go forward, but you can do it!
