The Ryno 8 damage feels inconsistent, like there are times where it one taps everyone around me and then there are times where the dude right in front of me survives. I'm guessing it has to do with the size of the objects that come through the rifts and where they land.
Agreed, the RYNO 8 really was just a discount Harbinger. And the Harbinger was awesome! Guess the description back in Deadlocked was telling the truth.
100th subscriber here! well earned too, very thorough video well edited well commentated, love to see more people talking about Rift Apart still too :) i'm a bit basic, my # 1 fav is the Warmonger bc of how impactful and simple it is, but i also love the Ricochet for your reasons, and the Cold Snap 🤩 i personally loved the Bouncer i'll be interested to see why you didnt like it in a future video! bonus mention to the Lvl 10 Pixelliser for the musical vibration in the Dualsense

1:25 This is definitely one of the most important factors in the game, I think that they would have risked a ton if all the weapons were squeeze and destroy because of the I frames dash could have ruined the flow of combat even more so than say, RaC PS4 (which is the same engine RA is made in, Xem92 tried PS4 speed tech in the game when he tried it and it worked lol)
I really wanted to love the void repulser but it was just too flawed If it ever comes back id like to see them fix it First I'd buff the damage output with how fast it chews through ammo it really should be a room clearer, i would have said just buff the ammo efficiency but that runs the risk of making it really boring by hiding behind it for way to long Second you need a grace period when firing, as soon as you fire the gun your almost always hit with the projectiles the shield hasn't caught yet
I killed bosses in like 10-30 seconds by using the ice gun and then using the peacekeeper rocket launcher and the ryno. Literally takes away 15-20% of their health each hit. And they couldn’t even move because I would freeze them instantly again after shooting
