Wow, watching you put that handle together I had no idea how beautiful it was going to look once it was finished. That's a work of art, you are on a whole different level!
I love everyone of your knives.but this one by far is my favorite! Stupid question where do you get the anti scale paste from? You seen to be the only one I seen use that type and it look to work very well
Also, you could do a video on how you build your electric forge, then sell the forge and use that to buy the parts for your belt grinder. It really isn't very expensive to build. Look for someone selling a workout bench, or a bed frame. That is angle iron and most of what you need.
Hey, Rd, what is the green anti scale you are using? Someone else asked too, and I never saw a reply. He may be a beginner bladesmith, and you could be an encouragement for them. You shouldn't hold those things, my friend!
It is kind of hard indeed. I've heard of blades made from titanium, but they don't seem very common. He used titanium for the bolsters which don't need much strength. They're commonly made with materials like brass or even leather infused with resin. Titanium is most often used because of other properties besides just strength. Compared to steel, it's lighter, it's nonmagnetic, and it doesn't spark like steel. I remember one example where titanium tools like hammers and wrenches were used in a location where flammable gases were common. Steel tools are stronger and much cheaper, but safety was a far more important consideration.

You use titanium to make a knife, right?
how can ı get this wood ???
Steel N 690?
Wonderful work, but dont you want to buy or build yourself a belt grinder? So you can work faster and dont need to use your file for everything :D
I've been thinking about thatfor a long time. But even building one is quite expensive...
is not titanium kind of hard metal ?
