I really like that you share these bizarre places without giving your own religious input. I am a Christian and yet I have to admit you had me laughing out loud at all of the cardboard Jesus cutouts and especially the arcade game right next to the fiberglass pandas. Also, the beanbags that you threw through Satan's stomach!! Oh my Lord (no pun intended)!
I just imagine a future job interview. "What is your work experience?" "Well for 7 years I was Jesus and I performed miracles, then I quit when I turned 35."
Been wanting to check that place out for years and never did. Next time Im in Orlando I will for sure. I agree with you about Salvation Mountain . Love that place
My god, if I was a kid and my parents had brought me to that place, I would have been SO painfully bored. The mini-golf might have kept me mildly entertained. This is definitely NOT a theme park to take kids to. They will hate you for it.
Yea that just made me choke on my soda..and cardboard cut outs of jesus around various areas of the park Lmao. Im sorry but thats just as cheesy as those goldfish. Ugh!

I would probably be blessed by it as well. maybe being there in person would be different. The Bible says if you declare Jesus before people then Jesus will declare you to the heavenly Father. It was probably about 2007 when I was living down in Florida I flew my Mom there from Minnesota for a visit. I took her here to this place. It was actually a very moving and lovely place to visit. We went because my mom is quite religious. I myself have never really been but I was actually quite moved and it left quite an impression on me. I do recommend this place to visit. It does look like there have been many changes though since I have been there. I certainly don't remember miniature golf.
+Kari F yea man I don't know if I'd sleep too well making money off of Jesus and his story... something's pretty wrong about that...darn old devil always ruining everything! darn it to hell and back....
+The Carpetbagger Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker actually were part of TBN at one time. There was a power struggle around 1980 or so, and they left. They went on to start their own channel and park, and both eventually collapsed due to scandals. Their park, Heritage USA, was second only to WDW in attendance at its peak.
+5Rounds Rapid That's correct. None of these televangelists are any more than a bunch of thieves using Jesus to steal from the spiritually poor and needy. Yet God can use them to reach people, as long as the new believers don't depend on the hucksters and their prosperity doctrine for teaching.
+The Carpetbagger TBN is another televangelist group that preys on the spiritually weak. They teach a prosperity doctrine, that if you give them money (the more the better), God will bless you with riches. It galls me to know they're ripping people off with an "amusement park" that looks like something a person could set up in their back yard and charge a buck to see.
The guy up in the tree was Zaccheus. He was short & wanted to see Jesus when He passed by! That being said...that place is just...wow...I can't even! The kitsch mixed up with the divine is really amazing!
I pass this place every day on my way to work. Since you visited, they've redone the outside. The coliseum looks old and dirty now, it's not white/gold. The entire place was redone to look like it's made of clay. I think they got a lot of bad press when their profits were announced, because they don't have to pay taxes. (they have a "free day" on day a year to maintain exemption status). With Orlando's homeless population souring, I guess they thought looking like a gilded palace was a bad idea.
While I'm not Christian, I find it disrespectful that religion be degraded to a theme for an amusement park. It reduces Jesus to an entertainment figure and ultimately, it distracts from his actual purpose in coming to Earth. Sad. :(
+Maryse Flore Why do you care about what other people believe at all? Yet you're sad because others who do believe are getting a "cheapened" version of a story they already accept as true but you don't? Come on now.
That was interesting. You had me until the faith healing. You can play Jesus.... But having an actor playing Jesus do anything but pray to Jesus for you. It does seem beautiful and tranquil. $50 isn't bad with the shows. Adam and Eve just made me laugh.
+Jennie Wallick Holyland PR actually contacted me and said that the actor playing Jesus was a ordained minister and he was acting as a minister, not as Jesus
+The Carpetbagger I really feel better. Having a minister pray with you is better, but really anyone can pray for and with people. It's the healings.....
Thank you for putting this video on! I live in the Orlando area and always wondered what it was like there, without spending the $50. I watch at least one your videos everyday and enjoy them.

Imagine telling your kids they're going to a "theme park".... and then you take them here. Roller coasters? Ferris Wheels? Cotton Candy? Nope... nope.... and nope.
This video's editing is killing me, Carpetbagger. Just the way you cut to the odd bits like the made up face of the Wiseman and the pan to Adam and Eve. I dunno why but this has been a really funny video. I needed that chuckle.
Even though I’m not religious, places like this I would still probably visit for the experience. Your videos are always very entertaining and informative. Thank you for sharing.

Wow, look at how the parking lot doesn't have a single open spot and the pathways are just teeming with throngs of people so thick, you can barely navigate. I'd call this place Diorama Land. As a child I would have questioned my parents if I was adopted, if they thought that was a place I would have fun at.

I have mixed feelings on places like the Holy Land amusement park or theme park or whatever they're calling it. On the one hand I see that it is somebody trying to spread Jesus and religion through something that's fun; this way of meeting people I get that but on the other hand, I kind of feel like at $50 to get in and the kind of white European representation of everybody in the Bible that it's kind of trying to turn a profit on religion that's kind of against the ideas of Christianity. I personally kind of want to go to these places because they're just so ridiculous and corny. Maybe I'm a bad Christian, but I think America just loves to exploit religion, and nothing beats the trainwrecks that happen.
I'm Christian. I went in Feb of 2020, right before the poo hit the fan with covid, and apparently watched the last theater productions they will ever do in the park. It was pretty cool. Some weird things like people confusing the actor who plays Jesus with being the real Jesus with healing powers. Like Disney actors they just play along, but I think sometimes they should break character and explain that they are actors.
Hello friend loved the video" this gave me a chance to see the inside of the amusement" I would not pay to see this I'm not a Christian but it really look like much time was spent of the props and also a nice place for a christian family to spend a day. thanks again we all believe what we believe and that is OK with me we are what we are thanks . keep up the great work.
The only thing - other than a paycheck - that gets these performers through the day is knowing if they make it big, they'll have plenty of stories for Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, etc., etc., etc.
I use to work there... and boy do I have stories. I got to know Jan Crouch up close and personal... I'm writing a book about my adventures as an actor in Orlando.

Lol Jesus just walking around like "sup bro".
cool guy
Shalom.
That gave me a chuckle. It was like “don’t mind me, just having a stroll.”
He said shalom
Jesus: "Yo Lazarus. Whats the deal? Been a long time, son." Ugh
I would be laughing my ass off the whole time I was there, assuming I didn't burst into flames the second I stepped foot on the place.
I laughed the whole time through this video too.
My thoughts on this... people sure do make a lot of money on Jesus's name.

True. Then again, it is TBN we're talking about and they care a lot about making money.

Don't forget you could walk on water with jesus....what could be more fun than that
The only this funnier than this attraction are the people that pay money to be blessed by a Jesus meet and greet.
