I also miss the HK weather, hopping to move there soon but is nice to see the sunlight helping on the review. I’m on the fence for this lense. I guess is the best classy look for my xpro3 with decent aperture but I liked so far more the reviews of the laowa 25mm 0,95. The perfection for me would be a mitakon 23 0,95 with the quality of the 35 (that I own and consider my best lens sharpness and micro contrast wise). I’ve subscribed btw, love the channel. Congrats

I like your review where you used the lens for specified purposes! Unlike any other youtuber, they don't use utilised this lens as a environmental portrait lens. Good job and keep up the great work..
@@PhotoLandHK off course. May I ask if the voigtlander 23mm f1.2 also has good microcontrast / 3D pop like the Fullframe lenses have? Or is it more of a softer flat look. Sometimes videos cannot show it properly, that is why I ask =)
I really enjoyed your tight and concise review, the images taken make me want to revisit the 23mm focal length on my XT-2 - I had the Fujicron 23mm f2 but sadly it was no love affair, it did very little wrong but it lacked personality. This cute little Voigty' seems to have a really distinct warm glow and look. Finding it in Australia in a retail shop environment is going to be interesting. Wish me luck!

wow awesome video and great shots, you still manage to be the only reviewer on youtube for this lens. This lens has so much depth and warm tones that it just gives it a more unique look than fujis new lenses. And i can finally buy a manual lens worth buying in 2022.

@@coomb yeah totally, i think it's probably with +3 or so in color and maybe the tonal curve is worked as well as the white balance. I've never seen classic chrome looking this good

I've seen someone else review the 35mm and say that it has some really bad technical aspects - mainly being - not sharp. And he said it's not just unsharp, it's muddy

It doesn't give the interesting lens flares at f1.2 that the 35mm gives? I actually like that about the 35mm.

nokton is more warm with better flare, half the weight, height, but less sharp.

Where can i buy it?
The lens is very soft when shooting wide open @MFD, that's because it lacks of FLE. Same as Fujinon XF23mm f2.
What is the FLE?
In backlit condition, the glare and chromatic abbreviation are evident.
