- 2018 was another really good year for the halibut and what a fantastic difference the new bigger boats at XLyngen make. Fourth year in a row at XLyngen for Paul Siddle and Brian Towle, third year for Graham Stansfield, Jason Joyce, Lee Gregson and joined this year by old mate Dave Tennant. Special thanks to Lucas ('Lucky') for being a great fishing guide and also for putting up with our, well mainly Grahams, particular sense of humour. If you've always thought about going then do it, message me if you need any guidance

Don't you just love Norway! ❤🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🎣😉👍
Hi Paul. A question. Did you fish i Lyngenfjord or more north or West? Br
Hi, were there again last week. Had halibut in Lyngenfjord and all the way out to above Fugloya. Big cod were prolific all over. Great fishing at the moment. Paul
Paul Siddle sounds god. Thanks for the answer👍🏻😊
Where in Lyngen do you go to get halibut? Far out?
We just got back from this year's Lyngen trip last night. All boats managed to catch halibut, troll in shallow water or head for the plateau"s and fish with shads or bait. You do not need to travel far to catch them.
Top video mate, do you go every year?..if so what time of year do you go...thanks
Do you need a licence to use the boat, we have been to Norway twice in the past (few years ago), and never had a problem, but not got any other boat experience apart from norway, just wondered if the laws had changed...thanks
Laws not changed as far as I know, though there is still the age restriction below which a licence is required.
@@paulsiddle youngest going would be 27 ..thanks for that I will look Into it
