I liked it when you said this might not be something for you, Niklaus… exactly, we all should do what we love doing and others don’t have to like it but they should respect it. Nice film, keep it up.
Man I have had mine for 5 years, no leaks. I probably don't get to fish as much as you though, toddlers and shit you know. On the other hand, I'm definitely not careful with them. They were only 300 $, so I'm pretty satisfied.
Great vidoe , i thought you always had to kill the fish to claim the line class record . Was interesting to see otherwise and may unlock a whole other level to my fishing . As ive never wanted to kill a fish just to have a record . Would you just need a certified scale ?
Well that is obviously a good question and there's no 'right answers' I guess. There is an "All Tackle" category as well, which is kind the most simple WR category. But until anglers thinks responsible, the tippet sizes give various approaches to the WRs. And what is a very nice thing with IGFA is that all the records are well evaluated and documented which leaves no room for speculations. But one should never do world records over the responsibility of fishing so that is why guys went for atlantic halibut with the heaviest tippet sizes as they felt that those tippets were alright for doing the halibut fishing in that exact spot.

One off them would have been on my plate for dinner 😊
Imagine if vision put as much effort into making their waders last more than one season as they do these fishing trips.

Amazing video and awesome shots.
I wonder, is it controversial that there exists WRs for tippet sizes? It feels a bit strange to me.
