He's a total enigma, a unique equation, simply one of the greats, and I'd love to give him a big hug and tell him that I wouldn't have fallen in love with football without seeing him play - his actions and his attitude.
My first year of following football as a new Juventus fan saw me watching Vialli, Ravanelli, Baggio, Del Piero... if there's not a better forward line to make someone fall in love with the majesty of the game, I don't know what is. They were magnificent.

I will forever remember watching the Tromso game on channel 5 and seeing the warrior score goals in unplayable conditions. Todays footballers looking for a role model, inspiration need to look at Luca if I was a striker playing professionally I would be emulating his skill on the pitch and be unplayable like this hero. Ho 36 anni, avevo la sua figurina e me lo ricordo soprattutto alla Juve e al Chelsea (ero un bambino molto fortunato e per un' anno ho avuto telepiù, vedevo gli highlits della Premier. Per me con Vialli nel 1994 la coppa del mondo l'avremmo vinta. Sacchi è stato una sciagura in nazionale, e un uomo piccolo piccolo, con i fenomeni che aveva al Milan anche un asino avrebbe vinto. Ciao Gianluca che Samp, e che invidia la tua Juve.
