Alan Shearer, Always Scoring [Best Goals]

- “When I think about a complete striker and what I’d want as a manager as my striker is Alan Shearer. It’s not just the goals he scored, he was a handful, he could run the channels, his retention of the ball was fantastic and he was a leader of men. I don’t think we’ll have a striker in that mould again.” (Paul Ince about Alan Shearer)

Could have played for any team in the world but was loyal to Newcastle. Absolute world class player.
Like Jamie Vardy. And then can won a PL title with LCFC.
@@ilovebaliproduction9722 Lol. Vardy wouldnt get playing for any top club
@@DK-ng6nd In my opinion, no need to play for top club or only mediocre club, the most important thing is the player can get a big trophy in the top class competition, at least once in their career.
I Love Bali Photography vardy turned down arsenal because he knows if he was playing for a big club he would be near useless for a top club. The reason being is Vardy is all pace and big teams have the ball 60 / 70 % of the time and when big teams come up against the smaller lower in the table teams for example Man Utd /Arsenal / Man City etc against like likes of Burnley or Brighton etc they sit deep and have a much deeper defensive line and usually sit back on the 18 yard box and leave no space behind the defensive, no space means no room for vardy to use his pace on the counter attack and he would be almost useless as he can not play one touch football and pass and move
@@DK-ng6nd Really??
When Leicester win PL trophy
Their have alot offer with Vardy.
Kante leave,Drinkwater, Mahrez, Maguire.
But he still staying. he knows who helps him when no one knows about his name.
Why you want to leave when you get starting and when you leaving you never knows about you future.
He dont want to take risk. maybe he happy.
real striker... when you grow up watching these you will not understand why it is so hard for some forward to score....
Dont hate on Jesse lingard. Give the young lad some time to grow and develop as a player.
@@faazilvally626 lingard !!?? He's 27 dammit and Greenwood has more goals than him for the the last two seasons!!
Faazil Vally yeah when he has 50 YO I think he will be ready to be a class player
@@faazilvally626 haha what a windup
To Everyone who bashed Jesse lingard: bet you r not laughing now he is a goal machine at west ham
People say he was a fantastic striker and they are right. What makes him so special is the way he shoots. His shooting technique is brilliant, and so controlled, whether it is a soft inside foot shot or a full on instep strike.
those goals where it seems he is running backwards but still manages to shoot the ball with incredible power and accuracy, I call that play a shearer
back then it was easy now if he tried these technique he wouln’d even score one goal

Two serious injuries couldn't stop this great player. One of the best forwards I've ever seen in my lifetime.
It's a shame Shearer had two career ending injuries. He could of been the greatest English striker of all time.
@@johnwilliam6092 He is the greatest already. Look at his goals scored and he did it in 2nd class teams.
Sometimes below 2nd class!
@@ragedapeevo7560 Yea Southampton and Newcastle
Raged Ape evo he should go to united when ferguson want him. His trophy cabinet would be more shining . And I'm not a united fan just he kinda didn't fulfill his great career
After Juve played Newcastle in the champions league, Lippi the manager gave del piero, trezeguet, salas, marco di vaio and zalayeta videos of shearers performance against them. Lippi and the Juve team say that he is one of the most difficult players Juve ever faced because of he absolutely terrorised them that game.
World class player
Didn't know that. If Lippi said that then it's worth gold.
@@talibhassan652 It's true. When Gabriel Batistuta was with inter Milan he said Del Piero told him that. Batistuta then when onto say he thought Shearer was the best striker in the world, & hoped he swap shirts with Shearer. This was prior to Newcastle vs. Inter Milan in Champions League in 2002/03. There's articles about it if you google.
I'm French. I was born in 1988, and when I was a kid and a teenager, there were lots of good french strikers like Henry and Trezeguet.
But I must be a traitor: the first soccer jersey I bought was Michael Owen one. It was in 1998. Before this World Cup, I used to like the english selection with Gascoigne, Ince, Scholes, Beckham, Seaman, Sheringam, Campbell, Owen...
And for me, Alan Shearer was just a tremendous striker. Moreover, he was very complete: good header, good with his two legs, good to score free kicks, penaltys...
He was very strong and scored lots of awesome goals.
Merci Bravo !
strange because As a English person who grew up in 2000s as a kid. I was always more obsessed with French and Brazilian players.😂
@@MrAlumrocky🤣🤣🤣🤣and me Netherlands player lol and i'm senegalese lol
Both teams had fantastic players at the time. France and England should have played each other two consecutive World Cup Finals.
Mid 80's to early 90's Jean Pierre-Papin was an absolute master of ball striking and an incredible player. He was French, maybe look him up Froggy.
your classic, no nonsense, effective, tough, hard working striker. At the same time remains humble and elegant. A rare breed of player.
Your videos are always a treat for my eyes. Alan Shearer had such a great shot power, shot technique and was strong in header. Some of his goals were out of this world. He's one of the greatest strikers of 90's.
Thank you very much
Fuck off

Video spettacolare, qui in italia alla fiorentina avevamo batigol, e in premier League avevano Alan. Due mostri sacri, i più completi attaccanti puri degli anni 90 e due bombaroli. Tritolo puro nei tiri mettevano
Sheva is more complète than sherarer and batistuta but both are very good player
His goals and especially the way he celebrated them will never sink into oblivion.
A fan of Shearer. Always believe if he had moved to Man Utd, they would have won champions league before 1999. While supporting Man Utd, can't help but appreciated how Shearer torn apart Man Utd defence with Blackburn and then Newcastle.
chessten but he didn't join Man Utd so we sign king eric. It's good enough for me
@@pyrotgr7723 Well, Cantona lost interest in football after learning Aime Jacquet would be building France team around Zidane, and retired in 1997. Good enough, but he stopped playing too soon.
@@chessten That decision still surprises me, I guess therefore Cantona wasn't that pugnacious if he got demoralized so easily.
When i think about pure number 9 from 90's i always have him in my head and Gabriel Batistuta.
The late 90's are the best era for me.
Insane amount of great players.
Shearer,Owen,Batistuta,Crespo,Vieri,Del Piero,Bergkamp,Kluivert,Ronaldo,Romario,Rivaldo,Zidane,Suker,Boban,Beckham,Raul,Hierro,Schmeichel,Klinsmann,Maldini,Roberto Carlos,Cafu,Figo and more and more.
The last several years are only about Messi,Ronaldo and a few great players. Boring.
They both rejected united because they were too loyal to their clubs

Omg i got goosebumps... some of the goals i have seen live on tv as kid. Shearer was one of the best Strikers ever, no doubt.
Thanks for this video man, especially the music is well chosen!
Thank you!
@ B D: Yeah, me too. Especially, the goals against Poland. I'm Polish myself and on that very day I had my first beer as a 10-year-old boy. My dad let me have some because "the big game was on TV." In Poland, Shearer was then considered the Hammer of the Poles. This title was earlier held by Gary Lineker...but I always loved Shearer and I still do. EURO 96 was the first football competition ever that I watched and he was the first player in my life whom I recognized. I'm also a Man Utd fan and I always hoped that they'd have signed Shearer. Pity it never happened.
Biggest? No. Fastest? No. Most talented? Not really. Owen said it perfectly. Shearer was "hard as nails mentally" and that gave him the edge over everyone else. He was someone who was just so determined to get everything out of what he had, and he just got better and better. Extraordinary player.
this is so disrespectful to shearer's talent lol, his shooting technique and consistency are up there with the very best in football history. he may not have been the biggEST or fastEST but he was still big, fast, and strong, plus technically gifted
I think you've misinterpreted what I was saying..of course he phenomenally talented...it's just that others in his era were blessed with more....the Henry's, Ronaldo etc...

One of the best strikes all the time...and maybe the best finisher because can finish with a foot and head also...
Van nistelrooy is the best finisher

He had absolutely flawless ball striking technique in all scenarios and heading technique. Shot selection also was unmatched. Why he was my childhood hero and what drew me to choosing Newcastle to support, or rather they chose me with Shearer's help.
Its like his shots look like nothing special, yet they all go in

That's Jimmy Greaves. Alan Shearer comes second.
@@guillermojoaquinbello448 sure, if you're alive to watch him play, which you obviously werent
What a goal scoring powerhouse.
A True Legend both for Newcastle and Blackburn 👏👏👏👏👏 Thank you King Shearer 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
You see the power, the striking ability, the pure top of the laces fury of each effort, and and then you see 1:06, 2:36, 4:23 and realise the finesse was also there, and that technique was just as important with every strike. He also put in serious miles and did some real donkey work as a support player throughout his career, and as he got older and older, he changed and adjusted to stay effective and influential. Could have played more for England, and we could have supported him better by teaming him up with the players that served him best.
Tiene un golpeo de balón que ni el Luis Suárez prime 2014. Increíble.
I usually dislike music on football videos. But this one is an exception. The music is brilliant and somehow rythms up with the goals.
Thank you very much!
Music name pls ?
Thanks for the video - just watched ESPN pick him as the best striker of the PL era. Some people get scared when it's their moment, others live for the chance to show what they can do. Shearer was definitely the latter...and could hit a ball like Roberto Carlos. Never forget Euro 96 against Holland, one of my favourite matches...
I'm out of words for your videos now :P...Alan Shearer is a man who can score from any position!!! Thank you so much for the upload!!!!!
You're welcome
One my favourite player...
He is so simple and efficient... Great body balance, ball control, determination, shooting power, header and positioning... He only use simple dribble, no step over, no feint, no rabona, just simple... A real striker...
This is the person who made me love football so much when I was a lil kid. He is the FINISHER.
Shearer representa a la perfección el estilo del futbol inglés
Sim é verdade
Gerrard también. Tipos duros, con un disparo durisimo, muchísima calidad, tackling, perfectos para un juego de centrar y rematar de primeras. Hechos de otra pasta.
Untouchable. The complete striker. Easily the best English striker of all time. One of the best in the history of the game too.
he was a monster!!!
People liked his goals; I liked the way he celebrated them!!!!!
What a fantastic player!!
He lift Newcastle to the top. Not Messi not Ronaldo can do that. No star players ever to bring a weak team to a glory. Once Shearer retire the whole team collapse. This is the sign that he is the unsung hero and back bones of this team. No matter how weak his defender and midfielder, his 100% finishing goal chase up opponent score amount. Not Pele or Maradona, Shearer should be best player ever amongst all.

The best striker of England football history.
If England were not world champions with Shearer then England will never be world champions again.
Shearer was an absolute beast of a striker. Not only a goal machine but a unreal leader and warrior and captain of Newcastle United. We could only dream of having a striker of his caliber today. He was definitely up there with the best in the world. Before anyone says no he wasn’t just look at his stats and they speak for them selves.

One of the few ... very few ...best strikers in history. He was unbelievable. His shots are the best ever out of any striker. Even people like batistuta could not dream to shoot a ball like the " Great alan shearer"
World class player. Scored some fantastic world class goals. What an humble character; even while goal scoring celebration maintained dignity. Rare to see from an England player.
My all time fav player. Forever Shearer

I’m Japanese and respect his loyalty spirit toward the team. I would like to be a legendary striker like him
Always heard about him and read about him in soccer history books, and I heard he was the real deal. Now I believe it.
His injuries combined probably add up to like 2 years in total days. That’s scary.

He could have succeeded in any European top clubs at that era. Old schooled even for the goal celebrations, but absolutely effective, clever enough to retain the ball, all range shooter and top head-scorer. He reminds me in some way to David Villa, but I think Shearer was even better.
