Man played for the best Dutch team of all time the best 3 Italian teams of all time also arguably the best English team the best French team and at this point maybe best mls team
Blows my mind that these goals were selected with absolutely no regard to the quality...a montage like this would be a highlight reel for any other player, but for Zlatan, this is just what a random dozen of his goals looks like XD the last Malmo goal, the last Ajax goal, the last Inter goal, the first LA goal, the build up to the first Sweden goal, all legendary What a player.
Zlatans top 10, maybe even 15-20, goals could win the Puskás award. This man could score any kind of goal, in his own fashion. Nowadays we talk about Benzema, Lewandowski, Suarez.... But in my opinion Zlatan is the greatest in the category.
I'm sad all of the players I grew up watching are retiring. Wow I feel old. He's obviously viewed as a great. But I think as time goes on, the sheer scope of his play and work will become more amazing to people. All of the top clubs in different countries and played for so long at a high level, even until the end. Dang. Respect. There's no one like Zlatan
He has to be the most skilled tall player we've seen so far. His skills, ball control & aerial ability were absolutely world class. Ridiculously agile for someone of his size.
This guy was born to score incredible and unbelievable goals. He scored so many of them, probably more than any other footballer in history of the game.
Just going by his first and last goal for each club + national team offers enough magic than most whole career. And then you realize he had 500+ goals of with at least a 100 are worthy of a Puskas Award. It's insane how consistent his creative brilliance was.
IMO he's the best at scoring beautiful goals. He always put so much power behind things, was an absolute beast even up to the point of retirement. Hope we get to see another player similar to Ibra in the future.
For me, Zlatan is in the same league as Messi & CR7 when it comes ro greatest footballers of a generation. I mean, look at all those clubs he played for. Noe that is a career many footballers would ever dream of.
Zlatan was a beast, he was really great. However, to put him in the same category as CR7, Messi, Maradona, Pele, Cruyff, Zidane, etc, is being disingenuous. He's more on the level of guys like Modric, Xavi, Iniesta, Beckenbauer, van Basten, etc. He's under the "Amazing, but not GOAT" territory.

I’ll preface this by saying Zlatan is one of my favorite players ever. It’s painfully odd that one of the best pure strikers of our time who can also dribble better than guys like Lewandowski etc…. Was passed around so much by clubs. If I was a manager or owner of a club I would do everything in my power to keep a player of his immense talent as my #9
Great video! I wish I could explain this feeling, maybe someone can help me. Watching the clips, it's amazing to see how much football changed over the course of Zlatan's career - quicker, more intense, more intricate tactically, less space, less time but also more smart and more competitive technically. But watching young Zlatan, he looks like a modern player in the early years if that makes sense? Like other players his age at that time don't look like they could play now (though of course it's impossible to say.) But watching it now it looks like Zlatan was always up to the task.
He is one of a kind in Football history The way he played his ability and quality skills is unmatched with anybody i'm 37 now he was is will always be my favorite No 1 footballer ❤
Haha i remember him the first year in superettan, and at my local town just outside gothenburg Sweden, under 21 national team. You could tell he was Something else, a level above everyone else, you could almost forseen that he would be come one of the greatest. He will be missed on the pitch.

And euros, true. But then being French compared to being Swedish is a bit of an advantage there. And ibrahimovic won as many league titles with Inter alone as Zidane did in his whole career
