Unpopular take- The KC Buffalo trade helped both teams. They both landed the type of WR they're missing and kind of need. Buffalo may have gotten the better of it due to the 3rd rounder.

Bills found a keeper in Keon Coleman in Round 2. That kid is precocious & could be a special one. He has off the charts intangibles & is low key hilarious. The only reason the 6’4” 215lb Coleman fell was due to his “slow” 4.6 40 time. We saw how smart that line of thinking was when it was applied to Rams receiver Puca Nacua who ran about the same despite being shorter & lighter.

Yes, Buffalo traded back twice in the first round. Yes we let the Chiefs take their coveted wr(they could have just traded for the pick after us. We clearly didnt value him in our offense.) There are a couple reasons I really like this draft. First, salary cap limitations. Second, draft capital. Bills were in cap hell after the season. We had to release the soul of our team. It was sad but it had to be done. We still have the heart(Allen). Alot of people saw this draft as way to conservative and underwhelming. I love what Beane did. The difference in pay between last pick in the first round vs 1st pick in the second round is alot more than you would guess.
Beane had the balls to look ridiculous in front of 98% of the sports world because they don't understand his thought process. Since Beane got here in '17 he's been the best gm is franchise history outside of Bill Pollian. Check every draft Beane had had with the Bills. Josh Allen has been the most valuable part of the Bills organization in the 21st century. Beane has been 2nd.

The Bills already picked up a WR in free agency with Samuel, they don't have the room cap wise. In Worthy he's 165lb that metric hasn't worked in the NFL many times, just a handful in the leagues history. Legette was more interesting, seems like the kind of mentality Buffalo loves, not sure there. Who really knows except a few people in the Bills organization. You are welcome. The Bills in return thank you for the picks that let the Bills draft Tre White, Tremaine Edmunds, and Josh Allen. It took Allen a couple years to get up to speed, but Tre and Tre were immediate impacts on defense and helped the Bills get over the hump to win their Division and get to the playoffs in those early Allen years.
Mahomes is great, no doubt, but he wouldn't be the same Mahomes if he was drafted in Buffalo in 2017, with a RB and mediocre TE as his two leading receivers and a mediocre OC calling the plays, behind a line that couldn't block. So I think the 3 for 1 trade really helped both teams.

Worthy is a toothpick, I'm sure he will end up being like John Wall, injured all the time, not much production. What I am concerned about with the Bills is that they didn't pick up a second WR earlier in the draft, they had a chance to get 2 good WRs AND could have gotten their S in the next round. Bishop would have been there at 95, they should have double dipped and grabbed a second WR at 60.

So where does this extra WR fit in? Historically the bills don't do well when double dipping a position in the draft. 2020 they drafted Gabe Davis and Isiah hodgins. 2021 they drafted DE Rousseau and Basham, OTs Spencer Brown and Tommy Doyle. How can the Bills HELP make the Chefs better by trading with them when NO ONE ELSE between the BIlls and Chefs were going to take Worthy, including the Bills themselves?? The Bills should have drafted Worthy just so the Chefs couldn't have him?
The Bills took an asset from the Chiefs because the Chiefs couldn't be sure the Bills wouldn't take Worthy. The Bills had a choice: 1) Refuse the extra third round pick which they coveted because they had none, or 2) pick someone else at 28 and let KC have Worthy anyway. The obvious choice is: 1) TAKE THE PICK.
The Bills then got MORE value by trading one spot with the Panthers because they did not want Leggette either. People are just begging to me made mad, even when there is nothing to be mad about.

The logic is wrong. In the case of the Chiefs...yes, the Bills should take Worthy (even if it is only to prevent the team that keeps beating them from getting the player they want). It's not like the Bills offense can't use speed either. If the Chiefs keep beating the Bills and winning trades, why would anyone in the Bills organization think that they are on the winning end of the trade?
Mind you, the Bills also traded Diggs and two picks for a second round pick next year. What second round pick (watch, it'll be a late 2nd round pick) will be better than Diggs?

I was thinking both would go mid second round. Honestly they both struggle technically for completely opposite reasons. Worthy cannot handle physicality that well and he hasn’t quite figured out how to overcome his hand size. I know Devonta Smith is undersized, but he seemed pound for pound way stronger than Worthy. Legette seems to just give up on his routs and settle for bullying his way through a contest. Go watch any game where he’s playing a nfl sized CB and you can seem him struggling to get open. No. Diggs brought drama 2yrs in a row and was totally NOT the same productive player last year, good riddance. Why would the Bills want another short, 165lb WR that drops passes? Just because he had a fast 40? Nah, KC can have him and gave up more draft capital.
