  • @SimpleArt93

A childhood friend has recently begun painting digitally, and he's so good at it that I know he would love this thing.

  • @ThePlummerJoe

About Ctrl-Z… I have configured on my Tourbox a setup where the wheel rotating to the left does many undo’s, and redo’s when turned to the right. Works nice for trying out stuff, and revert when you’re not satisfied

  • @gusas6428

Might be a weirder one but I would customize it to focus on layer management.

  • @evergreen2989

I'm a 3D artist and I work primarily in Blender. So I'd definitely remap all those crazy shortcuts like ctrl+alt+shift+c 100%. And shortcuts that make you look down at the keyboard for sure.

  • @CanonThought

I would customize one so that not only would knobs control brush size, but also to increase or decrease stabilization. The classic undo/redo, a quicksave, shortcuts to swap colors or clear pallets. Maybe even shortcuts for full recorded actions! Like for setting up multiple layers for lines, colors, shadows, etc with a single click

  • @sheefo

As a cartoonist, I would customize Tourbox Light for canvas zoom and rotation, undo/redo, and brush size.

  • @AEInYOU

I would buy that iPad tourbox idea so fast it wouldn't even be funny

  • @ChantelleArts

This is amazing, what a fantastic review ☺☺

  • @megrit5552

Mapping one of the rotating wheels for undos and redos sounds like an amazing idea I found from the comments I’d love to try, as well as a button for automatic fit screen !

  • @donutheads2058

Def be using the knob for rotating canvas!

  • @kayowpi

I feel like I'd use this even outside of my usual digital art process such as in film editing and more. I love the design and it even looks ergonomic!

  • @pamelatsantosstudio

Just got this gadget. Im primarily a traditional media artist with some photoshop and Lightroom experience. I have an older wacom cintiq that isnt touch so i have to stop what im doing to even just zoom and change the angle. So im hoping this gadget helps my work flow, as a i grow as a digital artist.

  • @natsushi

The main reason I mostly draw on the ipad instead of my computer is the hassle of all the different shortcuts I’ve tried but never seem to get used to. This would solve so many problems and probably make the painting process much more fun! Thank you for giving us a chance to win one 🫶 Edit: forgot to add my customization: rotating the canvas with the knob and toggling between layers and brushes/brush sizes would be my most used ones!

  • @andrewalvarez7389

I would search for an Adam Duff Video explaining his work flow and Key shortcuts and assign my Tourbox accordingly. The man has years of experience and can save me lots of time if I just follow the recipe.

  • @markdriver1931

These tools are amazing. I’d map rotating the canvas to the dial, undo/redo of course, and zoom. I would have to play around with it for the rest. 👍

  • @cedricathlan9399

Adam, thank you so much for all the great content you post and for the chance of winning this device! Aside from the basic stuff like undo-redo and pen size, I would definitely add to that color picking since that's primarily how i blend my colors when I paint, but mostly I'd have a horizontal and vertical mirror shortcut. My traditional painting teacher always liked to have us look at the piece in the mirror and paint upside down from references in order to catch all the little mistakes that get magnified when you look at it in a different angle or orientation, and I have naturally translated that into my digital painting and this tool seems perfect for that.

  • @jefeasada600

Canvas manipulation would be excellent, flipping, rotating, panning all over

  • @indiriani6873

I have an older Wacom that has the buttons and sliders around the edge of my screen. While I don't mind them, they can be cumbersome to use for photo adjustments and can be a bit unreliable for adjustments while drawing. With my drawing, I would configure for pen size, rotation of work, colour picking and transformations; for Lightroom, I would use more for fine-tuned colour adjustments for tone and saturation, contrast etc. Thank you for the opportunity to win a tool like this. I can definitely see that this would increase work speed and clean up my desk!

  • @Lowkey-yb4nm

Personally it’s a no brainer to set the dial to brush size and maybe set the dpad to cycle through layers. A single button tap for canvas flip, a single button to toggle eraser, and if there’s an analog I’d use that to move the canvas around. Also, an iPad version would be a dream come true. Make it small with a disc-like form factor and indented buttons. The philosophy would be leisure, u could use it sitting on a couch or in bed like a clicker. Cheers!

  • @JoshWhiteArt

Fully agree, an iPad version of this tool would change my workflow significantly! The one real gripe I have with procreate, is the amount of time it takes, and attention it requires to change the brush size and opacity. Artstudio pro and infinite painter have a decent solution to this with the 3 finger swipe, but something like this would be even faster and less disruptive. Definitely going to be looking out to see if they do develop something like this. Thanks for sharing Adam!🤜🤛
