To people who don't know. Eclipse left YBA because UZU does not really know how to dev. His point is that every update comes with this truck load of bugs that don't get patched out until 1-3 months after the update. Also UZU seems to really want to monetize the hell out of this game with every update getting at least 5 skins or cosmetics; as well as free spec storage saying the devil's phrase "Currently Unobtainable"

Blox fruits is a hellishly pay to win the non-combat shit, but YBA is doing the same thing, and that is another reason why eclipse left. And yba is also doing it with combat based stuff, so YBA is becoming kinda p2w.
And no free spec storage means no bitches for uzu.

I honestly think that eclipse going off the main game route (playing YBA) was a huge W for him, whether or not he loses a lot of his community in the process. Being a genre creator is going to be a lot less risky than just making a ton of content off of one game.
UzuKee has a simple formula, if he’s losing money over it he’s gonna fix it.

It is actually quite weird how we haven't had a game that's like fighterz or tekken, etc, like an aba type roster with more anime characters, and then having a meter with decent M1s, as well as no reliant 24/7 stuns on paper sounds awsome

To be honest the reason I found and liked the channel was because of the stand reviews from YBA cuz they helped me a lot as a beginner, I did come to like his other content like the bingo, challenges and non Roblox stuff, but I will surely miss those kinds of videos

About RIU's coding. I have a feeling it's like ABD's (A bizarre day) in which 90% of the things in game, such as moves, dialog, effects, dmg, etc etc, are done by "remote events". and which based on a lot of the games that stole ABD's assets can show any mess up makes the game unstable and buggy.

@@jeffboy4231 it literally killed the entire combat system cause now everyone uses boxing over any other spec due to it being stupid op. every rework doesnt require 50 different moves, thats sorta the problem here with the new specs
12:50 Black Magic 2 has this type of system but due to the VERY low player count (below 150), it doesn't get any updates...
YBA is damn lucky to have good gameplay, if it wasn’t considered by many to be the best Roblox Jojo game it would be dead as a doorknob because of how laser-focused the devs are on monetization (they know they don’t have to try because their base gameplay apparently hit the g-spot) and how predatory said monetization can be
Recently i thought: why am i playing the game that makes me rage quit or makes me mad by having lots of cheater, toxic players, annoying bugs and problems that are not going to be fixed? Also the problem of YBA is skin grinding: instead of enjoying the game and 1v1 other players that are stronger/weaker of your level, half of the server is just using lots of rokas and arrows. Thats why i decided to quit the game, i will return if Uzu starts thinking about players of his game/ writes the script against any king of cheating
I know I’m beating a dead horse at this point but there’s really nothing uzu can do about the cheaters as it is Roblox’s duty to make the anti cheats, correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think Roblox devs have the access to add their own anti-cheat.

How to fix YBA:Remove Skins,Test first and see if whatever u add to the game has a bug or not so you can fix it,add free spec storage,listen to the community and add ideas,add different gamemodes and say hi to everyone atleast a week instead of being quiet for 2 months(im talking to you uzukee).

Will u ever try Deepwoken? It has(by my opinion) the best combat system and progresion system currently on roblox platform. Indeed it gets some time to get used to it and to learn all the secrets, techs and optimal build stats but the ammount of replaiability and new builds u can make is amazing. Who knows maybe u will get alota viwes from it.
Hopefully that Genre creator works out, I mean if you yell at enough devs enough times, one of them has to listen right? Fuckin hopefully
Edit: Also HURR DURR cannon doesn't really pan out (with respect to the arrow fail chances) Jolyne didn't have a chance to fail, she was either worthy or not, and in a game about stand users it'd only make sense that your character is worthy, so don't know what they are talking about HURR DURR cannon.

if I recall, jump force is a fighting game like the one you described in a 3d setting. every character has a charge button to charge a meter up that some moves need in order to work, an ultimate/awakening bar that charges from taking damage, and regular attacks that can be used in succession. some other things in jump force are a dash button that brings you toward the opponent, an escape button that breaks out of combos but has a cooldown, and rush attacks that can be parried and then reflected. maybe you'd want to check it out but it probably wouldn't perform very great and i dont think its that fun so im not holding my breath
I like the idea of a Roblox fighting game without cool downs, because lots of Roblox fighting games try to imitate "real" fighting games without going all the way, probably to be more appealing to a wider audience. Imo, that idea could work, but a combat style I would want to see would be focused on surroundings. Jjba fights are just as dependent on circumstance/setting as they are intelligence and strength. So, it would be cool if maps had tons of interact-able objects that could be used to your advantage. Maybe stands could be separated into categories, and maps in competitive would be chosen based one the categories the stands being used are in. You could also mix this with the no cool downs idea, but the normal Roblox way with cool downs still works.
Nice idea I like it but the cd thing it would simplify many moves so they won't be broken
@@raadalsalehy9223 then just make those moves weaker, instead of a move dealing medium damage with a medium cool down, it could deal medium damage with no cool down BUT it's predictable and if u miss it I might get punished. It probably will be harder to balance, but at the end of the day, it would be a cool way to play and it would feel even more different from other games when combined with my idea of surroundings being useful.

@@raadalsalehy9223 no no, the area will always be advantages for BOTH you and your opponent. Yeah, they can run, but it's not like they are gaining much.
based yba opinion as always, the free spec storage has been in the works since I can remember. Playing since post twoh its crazy to me how this never existed to begin with.

Glad to know you think my idea has potential. I also have other ideas for a unique, never-before-seen combat system that I wanna implement into a jojo game. I like the idea of specs like YBA, but instead of getting the power of the sun through breathing or throwing your balls at people, it would be gunplay and swordplay oriented(and other types of melee/ranged weapons). I want a game where even standless people can put up a solid fight against stand users.
Honestly we gotta respect Eclipse here; He gave up his best source of money and a game he enjoys due to how much of a crash grab it became. Most people I know would keep playing just because it is "fun."

regarding your "untapped market" idea, i've been really thinking that a standard 2d fighter with references to classic gaming and roblox things would probably be super cool, though there's really only a game or two that i know that pulled of good 2d, with a full keyboard fighting game being even more complex

To be honest I do kind of miss your YBA videos but I also love the subnautica content and shitting on RIU
I don't usually watch these kind of videos but this one was fun, idk if it's because of the way you talk or the gameplay, but I liked it.
Eclipse, play deepwoken, maybe with someone experienced or a friend, its a good game, 400 robux well spent, one of the best PvP & PvE, it is permadeath tho, so if you die (3 lifes, can get they back), you restart everything, but it's good, i promise.
He's gonna have to start caring soon cuz yba's players have been dropping below 10k a lot in the past week.
unsure if you want to try it out, but there's a decent roblox game me and some friends found called "That Crazy Adventure" which admittedly has some things that could be worked out, but is actually pretty nice in general

coïncidentally, there is an arena fighter coming out on roblox soon called Anime Showdown. Even though you can heavily see that ABA is the grandfather to this game, it has a lot of unique mechanics like skill meter, perfect blocking, superarmor and hyperarmor, spammable M2's that cost a bit of meter and a decent combo system. It looks like a decent fighting game but still is an arena fighter with *cooldowns* so I guess it's not exactly what you wanted.
I think this is for the best for the channel anyways. Variety content can attract a way broader audience unlike a roblox jojos game. Views are prolly gonna be lower for a while but the best thing to do would be to keep going cause theyll pick up eventually.
i hope you keep doing the other videos that flop if you still enjoy the games, because honestly i find the "failed content" quite fun to watch!

Old YBA was a mess and that’s what made it fun to me. New YBA is just a sad mess with no actual content to contribute to it.

God your YBA rant was so CATHARDIC. Everyone rants on about how great a lot of current roblox games are and theyre just... not. There are some which are visually and mechanically impressive yeah, but overall theyre just... trash. Even good games are often either behind a pay wall or flat out just become sell out cash grabs. I remember when I could go play a game and have fun and game passes were saved for stuff like getting a silly item or whatever for like 5 robux, not a $5-$20 gamepass you need to play the game without making yourself want to smash your skull in with a rock. Its baffling how this has just become Okay and nobody calls this out and says stuff but like three people, and that's because the only people who do are grown adults who dont even register the fact these kids are being exploited for cash because the adults have brains and self control not to buy a $40 gamepass!
To the kiddos or teens or what ever in Eclipse's community that really really REALLY want more Roblox Jojo and you don't watch his other variety content, please give it a shot. It's really good content even if you don't know what is actually going on. Funny thing is that if you JUST enjoy his Roblox Jojo content and you watch him fight people in 1v1's You can't even tell what is happening half of the god damn fight. Just watch his Subnautica series. Its amazing. I promise.

there are plenty of games with replay value, but not right away. If you finished say, Cyberpunk 2077, you can play it again right away but it wouldn't be as fun or rewarding if you waited a few months or a couple years
Ngl. I miss the stand breakdown videos. Wish he would do it for all these games besides YBA, because honestly, if most people are watching for Roblox Jojo, it seems like a potential good and easy way to make videos in the game.

When it comes to the "meter based jojo game" I wouldnt use it as a prime example, but you could look to Giorno, DIO, and Jotaro's inclusion in jump force, of course the game would be much different due to it being open world chances are, but its not a bad base to look at for an impression
There's a guy making a jojo game so maybe we will be lucky enough to have him reach out to Eclipse for suggestions.

i totally agree. i really like RIU, but i literally avoid main game at all costs because a majority if not all of the proper servers are older than an hour, (in most cases, over *8* ) this makes all forms of damage extremely delayed, to a point where people can literally move while getting barraged because the stun isnt long enough, whilst making barrages last like 20 seconds to deal the damage over time (also affects beatdowns but that's just annoying and not gameplay changing). it's borderline unplayable.

Crazy thing, I actually reached prestige 3 in YBA slower than I did reaching Third Sea in Blox Fruits.... Dear god, the grind hurt me.

There is a game on roblox that started this type of fighting style gameplay you mentioned 14 minutes in the video it was called soul shatters and then it got abbandoned because of the dev losing like 15M robux and then there was a rework of the called Alternate-Battlegrounds that has arround 3k players playing but it has cooldowns which is probably because 3d just look better with fast punches throwing players etc.. that include a lot of stun to perform

aut's new combat system is somewhat similar to fighter games as it has a heat bar but there are still cooldowns but some moves need heat to use, if you really wanted to check the next public playtest although thats your own choice if you want to see it.

As eclipse said that the devs don't care about the players, that doesn't seem so in these recent updates including the one thats about to come out.
Im not saying they care about fixing actual game bugs or balancing all the time quite obviously.

Eclipse currently is fighting the fact that people are not seeing how corrupted yba is, yba is indeed very fun and popular. But really, you cannot just yba everyday right? There is much to add in yba than abuse broken stands, and that is why they should balance and patch broken things fast. Abusing these bugs can also ruin kid's morals, which most roblox players can be rn. Eclipse is a really good guy to stay straight in his morals despite many people want him to change to what they want him to be.

a few things YBA should fix
1. listen to community
2. rework most of the stands and make the rework kind of like stone free's move set add normal moves couple cutscene moves
3. add some more stands from part 6, 3, 5, and 7, there aren't that many stands so they need to fix that and in my opinion those parts have the most interesting stands
4. get rid of any auto/infinite combos they ruin the game and are stupid
5. make it so mods cant use mod specs in 1v1s and 2v2s
6. make it less of a farming game
7. make all of the stands somewhat combat relevant so none of the stands are useless
