Tip for corn tortillas: warm them in the microwave before rolling them
Saturday morning and the Domestic Goddess Kimberly Whisk is at it again.🎉❤🎉❤🎉
Triple Decker brownies: 16 oz peanut butter cookie dough pressed on bottom of parchment lined and sprayed 9 x 13. Add a layer of 25 Reese's cups (I bought a bag of the thins and added in a couple caramel Reese's) then top with prepared brownie mix (I used Ghirardelli). Bake 40-50 min @ 350. SO GOOD!!
These are called “slutty brownies” where I’m from! So yummy!
@@rebeccathibert7706 the slutty brownie recipe I have uses a layer of chocolate chip cookie dough, then double stuffed oreos then the prepared brownie mixture. Honestly I didn't expect to like the triple decker brownies better than the slutty brownies but I do!! Give them a try!! 😋 Actually the first time I saw the slutty recipe ones it was during the holidays and called 'Santa's suicide' 🤣

Hear me out...I took myself to Alaska for my 30th birthday. In September I'll be turning 40 and I STILL have stuff from my Alaska trip in bags or something. And yes, I've moved 3 times and it's come with me, left unpacked. It's just not important enough to me to immediately unpack. Helps me learn what I need and don't need. 😂😂

The key to have corn tortillas that don’t break is to put them in hot oil for a few seconds and they get soft. Bacon grease is amazing and totally elevates the flavor exponentially.

A little tip to clean your comforter- if you fold it in half and then half again and accordion it and stick it in the washer on its end it agitates against itself and cleans really well

For the corn tortillas warm them up on a griddle and as you pull them off the griddle pile them on atop of each other they will not break..
If you decide to refinish the coffee table, don't sand it all off! Get a paint stripper, like citristrip. You put it on, leave it for a bit, and scrape all the paint off. Then you just have to do a light sanding and it's ready to stain. 😊

If the tortillas aren't green, I say use them. However, I do keep tortillas in fridge because we keep our house at 80 which turns those tortillas green fast.
You need a specific space for gardening and put irrigation drip tube on timer's.

You are the best. We water our garden boxes by the hose. And not sure with all fruit trees but we were told they have to have cross pollenate. So maybe try more than 1 avocado tree ❤
Yes, I actually follow the directions if something says refrigerate after opening. 🤣 If you stored them in the fridge, they wouldn't dry out so fast and break.

First of all, you are keeping 5 kids and a husband alive. Do not expect to keep trees and other things alive too. I cannot comprehend how you get it all dine as is. Second, we are not only bestie, but I also took out my 2 front teeth as a kid. I was riding a really old bike down a giant hill. The brakes didn't work and I got going ridiculously fast, went out of control and fell off onto my face. I missed my first day of kindergarten getting implants. Third, i took a cruise in July and finished putti g stuff away yesterday. I also feel like I do not gave my life together. Are we sisters from another mother? 😂

So the corn tortillas don’t break when rolling or folding, warm them up in the microwave. Maybe 30 sec or so or until they become soft and flimsy!
This chicken paillard is one of our favorite meals and we make it like once a month with the arugula salad. Sooo good! I use half panko breadcrumbs and half Parmesan cheese for the breading. I also use disposable aluminum cake pans for the breading station. Then just toss when you’re done!
In Australia, we call chicken cooked like that, “CHICKEN SHNITZEL”

You have to heat the tortilla before rolling to prevent breakage. So cook on skillet or in microwave first

Good morning Kim, This is just a suggestion for doing laundry - I use tide in the liquid tray. I also make a half a cup of borax and baking soda mix dissolved in hot water and just dump that over the load of laundry.
We are in our 12th year of dance at my house. The things we do for our kids' passions! I knew NOTHING about this life. It's expensive but rewarding. I'm the mom that has tears streaming down her face watching everyone work so hard while performing.

If you put a dry towel in the dryer with hard to dry items it will help dry them quicker; use wash cloth- hand towel etc depending on the size of the wet load

Yes! Using a damp paper towel. Warm up your tortillas in the microwave for like 30 seconds to a minute, depending on how many you’re using! It’ll make them soft enough to work with and they won’t break! 🫶🏻 do it to make flautas (deep fried, rolled up tacos)
Plants and trees really need some attention. Gotta understand what they need as far as fertilizer, pest control, watering etc. I suggest pick 1 item and learn about it. Herbs and tomatoes are easy and take little effort so maybe get those to get you motivated!!!

Speaking of luxuries, I bet I'm older than your parents and think about my grandparents a lot. They had horse and buggies, no washer or dryer and for sure no tv. They lived thru getting all that AND going to the moon. More happened in their lifetime then any other generation. Something to think about.

Mexican here: corn tortillas have to either warmed (30 seconds in the microwave, put them inside a clean cloth) or fried (just a quick pass through hot oil) before being rolled in. Also, yes, we put them in the fridge in Mexico.
Kim from now on keep them in fridge, while cool , wrap and spray with oil cheese and cook 350 till warm and cheese melted

I always try to bring my clothes back, clean and ready to be put away when I get home. Makes the motivation a lot easier and gets done a lot faster. You can have your kids put their stuff away on their own as they do their laundry.

If your carambola tree is not growing it needs nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium to grow and produce fruit. Fruit tree fertilizer, fruit tree booster, if nothing else a good 10 10 10 fertilizer. Your soil maybe lacking essentials nutrients. Did you put compost,black cow in the hole you were planting the tree in? Florida is known for poor soil and needs supplements. You have to water it good and regularly especially after fertilizing and you need to fertilize it regularly.
