I feel that it is really basic what i already should know. But i found it useful that someone show that how to do step by step without any negativ comment :)
I’m in Italy. I’m from California and I used the charger here for a day. Everything was good until the following day. The charger won’t work? Did I do something wrong?
Thank you for this video! New camera and didn't know how to charge it, mine didn't come with a charging cord that I could find... But this video set me up with the USBC! No need for a dedicated charger for this device - yay!
Which type of wall brick should I use to prevent the risk of damaging the battery or the camera? I guess not every phone's brick has the same charging power
Thanks for posting this video! I need help - I have a question that wasn't covered in the video but I'll explain my problem first. I bought my a7iii in America and am traveling internationally with no access to easy shipping, so I only have easy access to the second charging option (USB-C.) I have the cable but no international wall charger (I can buy those locally.) Here's my question: What kind of wattage and brand should I look for? Also, is a fast-charging option recommended?
I would recommend the Sony proprietary charger if you can find it but if not go for a Samsung original wall charger but don't go for fast charging because the camera doesn't support fast charging. Or another option is to get a separate battery charger.
What do you suggest for the very frist charging? eather Use the camera until the battery is uncharged or charge it until it's complete and then using it?
I have never try the Samsung 25w but I have use the Apple 18w and it was fast and fine. I have also used my Galaxy note 9 charger to charge the camera.
@@BigPhilTV Hello, thanks for reply. How do you use type c for shooting? As soon as I turn on the camera, the little yellow light next to USB sockets goes away. It seems not possible to get any power from USB if camera is on.
Hi can I ask a question, what can I do if the camera is still blinking whenever I charge it? I don't know how to fix it and I try many times taking out the battery.😭 please answer this question I really need to fix my camera for the pictorials of my cousins birthday😭🙏
Hi, I just purchased Sony A7III and I noticed that there is a small vibration everytime I turn on the camera and same goes when I turn off. I went ahead and changed the cleaning setting to Manual and still I notice the small vibration and noise. It's very minimal, is it normal? This is my first camera, so I am not sure.
@@BigPhilTV Thanks a lot for the very quick reply. Much appreciated. Big investment and my first camera so was a bit scared. Thanks again. All the best and may you taste even more success with this channel 😀
Wrong! USB type C at 5 V DC will not charge anything :)) You have to use minimum 7.2-7.4 V at 1-2 A or more to charge the battery which is 7.2V nominal
what areal stupid idea, charging your Camera battery inside the camera though the USB port LOL first off that port is used for other things like to transfer pictures and what not, so this same port, also connects to your battery, But you know how it gets to your battery? Thought the camera's Main Board, Now what do you think is going to happen if you get a voltage spike or brown out for a split second while that chargers is plugged into your camera's USB port? Right it's going to fry the Main Board in your camera... I keep stressing this to people DON"T DON"T charge your camera's battery thought he damm USB port.
I normally charge my camera over night with the charger that comes in the box but if i have to charge it faster then I used USB-C charger and battery pack.
That's the most idiotic way to charge it. Sony is stuck in 1999. Nikon and Canon have specific chargers that come with the camera PLUS charging via USB. Sony needs to come to 2020
Thank you for posting this! I'm on vacation and just realized that I forgot my battery charger, but I have my phone's USB type C charger, so perfect!

Thank you!! Taking the battery out and putting it back in fixed the charging error.

The battery charger came bundled with the A7III for me.
Thank u so much.... I forgot my charger at another place... So i was in thinking for another option.... Great...

Any time!

Thanks! I didn't know that I could use a usbC adapter!! Good to know. I bought a Watson external charger, and it died after 3 uses.

A normal charging brick that is not fast charging, maybe 18 or 20 watt.

Hi! I have a question. If you have a battery grip and has 2 batteries inside, will you still be able to charge the batteries through the cords?
Yes
Thank you
What do you suggest for the very frist charging? eather Use the camera until the battery is uncharged or charge it until it's complete and then using it?
Charge it until complete before use for the first time.
buen video pero la puedo usar cargando flaco?
Why the light doesn't on when it charges with type C charger?
mine does
Would the samsung fast charger 25w be okay for charging this without damaging the battery
I have never try the Samsung 25w but I have use the Apple 18w and it was fast and fine. I have also used my Galaxy note 9 charger to charge the camera.
Thanks brother
I am assuming when the light goes out, the battery is fully charged. Corrrect? ... and thank you for making this video.
You are correct, the light goes off when the camera is full charge.
How much time (approx) it normally takes to charge the battery this way? TIA
My sony A7iii did NOT come with an ac charger. Purchased new in US in October. Did they stop including the ac charger?
The ac charger is for other markets not the US.
i discover the led just from your video, it is definitely hidden in the body
How do we ensure battery has got full charge while using power-adaptor charging.
There is an LED indicator on the camera, it shines orange when the camera is charging and goes out when the camera battery is full.
Adaptar name enna bro
Thanks
Can I charge it with the USB C cable with my Mac book charger, will it cause too much volt?
It think MacBook charger has too much power and those cameras do not have quick charging. A phone charger is better.
Now i know how to do it
Can you use any of the methods t o power camera while shooting? Or these methods are just for charging the battery?
I have used the type c charging while shooting.

Try different charger or try charging the camera through the USB type c in-put.
Nice
You plug in the socket then put the usb into the camera.

Until the little orange LED beside the charging port turns off.
Thanks you for doing this video you help me tonight to have a battrey full in set if im not see this video i be fucked up😅

Can i charge my canon camera with basic Usb port ? (Non Usb c cables)
I don't think that is possible.
@@BigPhilTV ok thanks
Where's the third way😁
@1:56, I found it very scary to put my camera down because that dangling thing would not go back and was pointing down. That feels so flimsy.
did you ever find a better way to do it? i just got the camera and noticed that too
@@neurostudios2023 I returned the camera but not just for that reason. It should be fine though,

can we charge it while the camera turned on
Yes, it's possible

Great help thx!
Charging by USB Charger ... is it Safe ?
Yes, it is safe, I mostly charge it with a USB type c charger when I’m shooting a video.
Can we charge using power bank?
Yes, you can. I often used my Samsung fast charging power bank to the camera👍
Thank you
Did this work with Canon Cameras!??
Modern Canon mirrorless cameras.

Check the charging LED indicator because when you plugged in a USB cable the light gets below and hard to see.
