Mozart is the Best to me. He saved my life from depression with his music 🎶🎵 Somehow it is true. I still listen to his musical genius. Still feel better when I listen to Mozart
Me too! Also, I"m going to Prague in October to hear Don Giovanni in the same theatre it premiered in (The Estates Theatre). But yeah, I turned to him when I was having family troubles. Profound.
If Haitink is conducting a Mozart symphony, how can I skip? Just perfect - any time. And, I see Clara, my favorite flautist. (How do I know her name? I don't know her last name, though.) Mr. Haitink, I heard you left this world. I will always remember you and your music, which is always very comfortable to listen to.
Hey guys just letting you know this isn’t the Prague symphony no 39! But it is Mozart master piece Kv543 symphony no . 39 in E-Fflat Major. Mozart’s first, of his last three symphonies!
Mozart is a genius facing a problem : contrary to Beethoven, he has far too, too many musical ideas. This is why he is by far the greatest opera composer ( the most difficult) and chamber music. With symphonies, Mozart is facing the problem of making work too many ideas with too many instruments ! The opposite of Haydn, Schubert who have too few ideas with too many instruments and different of Beethoven who is able to twist and make full tension of few ideas in perfect adéquation with instruments.
The young night can conjure starry sky out of an unknown dark box, Passing thorough my cheeks the sweet breeze, awesome moment at all, Trees don't forget how to speak, a group of mallets tries to play with an ox, The moon is barely over its twenties, I am staring up at a primitive tree that is not tall. In the early predawn hour, the moon starts to sink into another dimension, My heart beats like tidal waves, the time swims in the deep bleu sea, A stray cat wanders around shadows of the sunrise in front of my personal pension, With pure nature, freedom is not impossible. Oh, I love to be yours not making a plea... Well, good night and lovely dreams to you ∂ . ∂ 🌸
mozart was good at borrowing little things from many composers and making incredible music. Beethoven was the best at borrowing from mozart. The greatest knowledge and copier of Mozart in music history. I've studied Mozart almost my whole life, so I know. :)
isn't it just a slow introduction for a sonata? pretty typical for a symphony, I can think of about a million mozart, haydn, and schubert symphonies that start this way
This comfortable symphony is delightful and inspirational and graceful and fabolously

Amazing music, magical. I also love the theme that starts at 4:01 and comes several times later. Music from another world.
Me too! I love the couple of repeated phrases that make the 1st movement so charming, esp. the one at 4:52.
Beautiful!

Interesting piece. A fully fledged Viennese symphony without the customary minuet. Mozart says all he needs to say in three movements. Lovely.

My favorite symphony of Mozart.
AGREED, subtle piece of music with numerous hidden meanings. Something for everyone if you're prepared to listen carefully.
This works better than Prozac.
it certainly does not
Works for me and sucks for you! Mozart doesn't need prescription, doesn't have side effect and is free!

Palito Ortega's song "Despeinada" owes something to the first movement of this symphony.
Great concert!thank you!
Actually an "UNFINISHED SYMPHONY" in its own right, predating Schubert's!
now we live in ugliness with nobody able to create. all we do is replay the genius of ancestral generations.
Bull fucking shit. you haven't listened to enough music if you believe that.
Mozart's (maybe classical music's) MOST MYSTERIOUS WORK! GO FIGURE!
Mozart 👏👏👏
Mozart should move from Vienna to Prague. His would be happier there.

Anyone else notice the similarities of the first movement and the first movement of Beethoven Tempest Sonata? Thinking in particular of 07:40
23:24 sounds like one of the Hungarian Rhapsodies
movement 1 has some resemblance to the late Baroque's ritornello structure, with an adagio introduction followed by allegro in 4
