Corey Taylor's part always gives me chills. doesn't matter if it's with Slipknot, Stone Sour, Solo or as a feature, the man's voice has given me chills since for the last 25 years. no wonder Ronnie sites him as an influence growing up
I think what you’re remembering in regards to him referencing the trilogy is his cover of last resort by Papa Roach, which I believe is what he took inspiration from when he these tracks. The chorus of last resort goes “I’m losing my sight losing my mind. Wish somebody would tell me I’m fine”
Enjoyed your reaction. I think this story is about recognizing that it's up to you to change yourself. Ronnie had a very difficult upbringing. His mother was a drug addict and abandoned him as a young child. He's afraid that the addiction gene could be passed down. Drugs is my favorite part of
The lady is a symbolism of a silver spoon and the black stuff represents the drugs...as far as i am aware he was into some serious drugs when he was younger. The trilogy is like a never ending cycle thats hard to break, hence at the end he says its so familiar. Ronnie is such an artist. Yes that is his daughter, he she features in 2 or 3 videos. He also did do time when he was escape the fate< which kicked him out because of it so he started up fallen in reverse. The heavy screamer is none other but the legend himself, lead singer of Slipknot Cory Taylor.
He went to prison, not jail. Big difference that most people don't realize. He ultimately went for violating his parole by having brass knuckles, which are illegal, which violated his terms. He took the brass knuckles to a fight where he was severely outnumbered. He showed up to the fight because the guy threatening him had threatened to shoot up his friends house where he was currently staying so to keep him away from there, he agreed to meet up. The guy brought like 20 people to the fight, Ronnie had only a few friends with him. The guy pulled a gun on Ronnie and pointed it at him so his friend pulled his weapon and shot him, killing him. His friend was never charged because it was self defense. His haters LOVEEEEE to call him a murderer. They also love to call him a r**ist even though he's not and was cleared by DNA, they love to call him an abuser even though he was cleared of that too. In Losing My Mind, the lady represents a spoon and the black stuff represents heroin. He used to struggle with addiction. He's been clean since going to prison. Furthermore, he's been sober for years as well. In Losing My Life (my favorite of the trilogy), he references a few of his other songs: Rolling Stone, Coming Home, and Alone. You can really feel his hurt and emotion in this one as he battles himself and his addiction and his old self. In Drugs, when I see the video, I tear up every time because of the imagery. Its so powerful and the lyrics are so deep but I feel a lot of people miss the lyrics. His mother abandoned him when he was young for drugs and his dad used to be an addict also. "Everybody's on drugs" is true because everyone is addicted to something, whether its illegal or not. Him k*lling his old self with the blonde hair is symbolic of him moving on and being a better version of himself. Willow at the end represents his fear that he will pass on his addiction to her like his parents did to him. He gets very vulnerable with this trilogy and he really lets you know him in this trilogy, if you pay attention and listen to his lyrics. Which you did! But so many don't.
I am so glad you are doing these all together! Yes, Willow was in Popular Monster. Yes Ronnie went to jail. Ronnie was at a fight , where a person was killed. Now he wasnt the person that killed the other guy , he was there though. He was supposed to go to a probation hearing and he didnt. That's what got him jail time. That was Corey Taylor lol . He actually came in the studio and did his part for free. His mom abandoned him at a very early age. She was a drug addict. Loved your reaction!!❤❤❤❤
He was arrested for having brass knuckles at a fight that someone ultimately ended up being shot and killed. He was not the shooter but Ronnie haters like to call him a murderer. He was givin probation and ended up violating it by traveling out of state to perform. So he was arrested again and did like 2 years in jail.
the black stuff and the girl are symbols for black tar heroine and she's the spoon .. drug addiction, hence the "I'm not willing to change yet.. yes his mom walked out on him and his brother and had a drug addiction herself hence the scene in drugs and then his fear is the drug addiction his mom had and he had will be passed onto his daughter (the ending of drugs) him waking up is like being in the loop of being high and missing out on life thats right infront of him... yes he went to prison. him and 2 friends went to fight a group of other people, someone on the other side pulled a gun and his friend shot the guy, Ronnie got in trouble for having a set of brass knuckles during the fight, then i believe he got a probation violation from leaving state to play at a show (little rebel) and that's what got him locked up. either way a quick google search of it will get you to the full article. ... now you remember 2033 in these videos the headstone and when he woke up on the table and his daughter was older ... did ya recall seeing some numbers on the side of the plane in WTWB?? lastly .. the feature in DRUGS is Corey Taylor from Slipknot
I think it’s kind of funny that most people react to the old woman’s face changing distortedly with more emotion and disgust than the part where Ronnie chainsaws himself. I understand that you are or were a police officer so maybe in your case you have seen worse. But most people haven’t. Just find it weird. Thanks for reacting to all these. You are one of my favorites!
He went prison for 2 1/2 years for violating his probation for which he had brass knuckles at a fight where his friend shot someone and the guy died. His friend also was exonerated and got self-defense. People still saying today that Ronnie is a murderer even tho he never killed anyone. He did his time for his violation and came out clean and sober and became a better person which is whats supposed to happen when you go to prison but he still gets so much unnecessary hate
Ronnie went to jail, and has had a history with being in and out of jail. He's cleaned himself up, and his more recent songs are about his journey. He's quite intelligent, and I love that he has no qualms with telling it like it is. He has quite a few enemies in the music industry for being who he is.
It comes up because he was potentially facing prison time that would have had him locked up until 2033. That was one of his deepest fears, as well as not recognizing his daughter being grown up because he could have been gone that long. A lot of his deepest fears lie in his trauma being reflected onto his daughter, so he does a lot to ensure he's involved in her life & she doesn't go through what he went through.
bout that autotune ... if ya haven't learned everything about Ronnie yet .. hes a troll if people talk crap about it he'll flip it around so throwing in autotune is just a middle finger to the haters

When I have time. IRL not so good right now. I'll be back soon....
Ronnie believes that in 2033, he will pass away. The number comes up in many videos.❤❤❤❤

The black liquid represents heroin since Ronnie was a heroin addict
