love sigur rós for 10 years already,,,I went to iceland alone when I was 19, I can't forget the feeling when I was in glacier lagoon and listen this song.... super emotional...
Keyboard player was an integral part of this band . Far as I know , he was a classically trained musician . I don't think he started out with the band in the beginning and I don't think he's with them anymore but the 3 or 4 albums they did together were just amazing .....
From Agaetis to Valtari, I think he was involved in 9 records and 5 were studio albums. Kjartan Sveinsson still makes wonderful orchestral music. And I agree he was such an important member in the band.
