I get paid the last Friday of each month I squirelled away a few quid last month and when I get paid I'm gonna buy my first gaming pc so I can play post scriptum and my strategy games like men of was assault squad 2 but with nice graphics and not have my pc shit itself.
Omg,. This is the kind of combat I want in the next Civ game! Easy to grasp, but deep and varied. Great upgrade system for the Lord units. Bought the game 9 hours ago. 9 Hours of gametime so far :P This is why I love your channel Mac, you bring up so many brilliant games lacking a massive marketing budget! This would have gone under my radar had it not been for you:)
You were no kidding about this game. It is just fun to play and the learning curve isn't to steep. After watching your video I put in 4 hours like it was nothing. Thanks Mac
I find funny how Mack criticize a number of cancerous practices on this industry, yet fails to associate this with capitalism. I mean, its the good old "hue le sjw are responsible for muh games being bad xD" without realizing that companies don't give a flying fuck to your game or your criticism, all they see is profit.
its a joke, and some of you are going mental about it. then you want to have any kind of moral. maybe grow up first, man up, then talk politics. no one needs emotionally afflicted people's political opinions. bye bye
Yeah, I love his reviews, but it is a shame people are so goddamn alienated from real life. It is so easy to manipulate people nowadays, all these scapegoats.. SJWs, "antifa".. And mack seems to buys it lol. Highly critical of videogames, but goes the easiest way when the subject actually matters. I don't know why people think that politics is such a simple subject, that the problems are obvious and directly visible. The most visible "problems" are usually scapegoats. I mean, how can anti-fascists be a problem? This is retarded on so many levels it isn't even funny. Europe and US are filled with fucking fascists, yet antifa is the problem.
I have to agree! I've been playing the hell out of this game non stop since buying it. It's the best game I've ever seen to mix some of the elements of Civilization with the old Warlords series and other Warhammer games. It's really is the best Warhammer game I've played to date and really $40 is worth the Content it has which is quite a lot when you actually start playing it and realize all the replay value it has. Every map is different and lots of different strategies to try with each faction. Only thing lacking is the types of artifacts you can find/buy. Ones you Find shouldn't be the same as the ones you can buy and they should have more variety to throw in a little more luck factor to a game which really has hardly no RNG. Awesome multiplayer options too and even Co-Op. I hope to see this one grow a lot!
Diplomacy in Warhammer huh ;p Thats EXACTLY how i imagined it. I mean, factions did team up in the past.. but it never lasted long, and they all had plans to kill each other in the end.
That was the first thing I thought of! Must be a good game then. I wish Endless Legend received more fanfare because it was one of the best in the genre that I've played. Reminded me a bit of Master of Magic.
It had potential, was fun for about 30 hours, then the developers released shit patch after shit patch which broke the game so much and ruined everything, they also rushed release from Early Access to go with the Warhammer sale that was on, the game is still 100% in Early Access
Just got this game on sale for 3 quid and man what a 3 quid it is. I had 1 game with 2x necrons on a team 2x orcs on a team and i had SM with a Astra militarum on my team. game lasted 18 hours. Gonna try necrons next :). Everything Mack said was on point
Mack, I have been participating in the insurgency sandstorm alpha, and I really like it. I want to pre order in order to take advantage of a loyalty disount but at the same time its bad for the industry, at the other hand its an indie game. What should I do?
Mack talks shit about people who play Warhammer but I bet he did his fair share of hanging around in Games Workshop stores in the past..... With his neck beard and blue haired girlfriend :D Don't deny it Mack, you used to be a huge nerd!
It's not harder, it's just bland and 1 Dimensional. Yes the wildlife is hard and you have to build units. Congrats that's it. The lack of Diplomacy, means of expanding without war or good economy and bank game means 100% of the Playtime boils down to "Spam lotso Units. That's it" Playing it is like tossing a coin. Do you completely roll over the AI in your first engagement or do you sit there both sides throwing units at each other for 2 Hours until someone *cough* space marine orbital bombardment *cough* snipes the Production. While it is very "Warhammer" it makes for a very poor, tedious and bland 4X Experience.
Just a update , after 300hours of game-play , finished all four factions , Both campaigns and conquest victory's , Well worth the £30 , (imo) , I now feel I have a basic idea how the army's work , I hope !
At first I was all "OH NO NOT A 40K SHIT PILE AGAIN!" Then I realized it was a serious crack at 4X in 40k setting and that frown went upside down. My bet is this is a probing game. 40k has a shitload of factions and subfactions, and if this base game sells well I'd bet they'll make content for the rest.
All this has been done before. But its now an old game. Its Blue Bytes Battle Isle series. If you like this, you should at least try Battle Isle 3. Old game, but man the gameplay is awesome.
I'm actually surprised we haven't seen a civilization Warhammer game. Seems everyone is doing some warhammer stuff and you can sometimes get good quality like in Total War. Shame it hasen't been done.... yet
could anyone tell me which video it was, where Mack was talking about being an adult walking down the streets while passing by a games workshop and seeing all those grown man playing with little plasitc figures? It was a hilarious video
This is a game I am interested in, my main problem is that it's too dark... can't really see anything XD... I know it's the grim dark future but come on lol. Apart from that I would like more faction but we will probably get those... 4 factions is pretty good to start with though
ORRRR you could spend $2000 to build one plastic army. Warhammer seems really cool, too bad it is so pricey to even try the irl version!!! Thanks for the cool review, will have to try this game I think.
so i really liked Dawn of war then they did whatever DOW2 was and it spoiled it (IMHO) so im really hoping for something kinda like that to come back along, i dont mind turn based they can even be more fun as you dont need reaction times like a hamster on coffee for turn based game.
It's not harder, it's just bland and 1 Dimensional. Yes the wildlife is hard and you have to build units. Congrats that's it. "If you're looking for a professional review you won't get it from me". lmao You fucking kill me! I like that there's a campaign for each faction, kind of like Endless Legend, which has more of a sense of purpose than Civ games. Having 40k slapped into that mix makes this intriguing, just wish workshop was supported, this game begs for (easy to) mod support. Will prob wait for a sale, thx for the review!
Mack have you ever played a game called Bully, the start of the 2nd part on RUclips its the 1st time i have ever seen a guy give another one a Melve on a pc game.
I like the overall game but destroying the base is a pain in the ass imo. Too many HP for a building imo. Unless you put your research on something like orbital strike (space marine faction), it would be too long to destroy.
Damnit I just shaved my neck beard...gotta let it grow back and also force my girlfriend to get some purple in her hair...then Ima play the shit outta this game

-Mack, 2018
still holds up in 2020
Its free on steam right now guys if you want it.
Blood for the blood God
Skulls for the skull throne
Milk for the Khorne flakes
Ahh khorne, the cereal killers....
Small sidenote. This game has workshop support and one of those mods adds voices.
FYI this game is free to download right now (26/05/2023) on Steam
Came here to say the same thing (:.:)7
For anyone that was interested in “Post Scriptum” it’s been delayed until the second week of August, but there’s a beta from the 18th of July.
As long as they fix the shitload of bugs and optimize the game its fine.
Open as in even if you dont own it?
Thanks mate
I get paid the last Friday of each month I squirelled away a few quid last month and when I get paid I'm gonna buy my first gaming pc so I can play post scriptum and my strategy games like men of was assault squad 2 but with nice graphics and not have my pc shit itself.

"Alovet. A akshuli lovet."
I love seeing your videos pop up on my newsfeed.
Me too and was hoping to see this one pop up!
Yep, Mack popping-up makes my day! ;)
pervert
You were no kidding about this game. It is just fun to play and the learning curve isn't to steep. After watching your video I put in 4 hours like it was nothing. Thanks Mac
Warhammers version of civilization
"Sounds like ANTIFA" hahaha. Good one Mack, North East humour is the best.
Farang Lao your mom is the best

Good to see someone is honest in their test of games! Always love watching them :) Thank you so much for all your hard work!
“One of four unique factions”
first choice is Ultramarines....
I have to agree! I've been playing the hell out of this game non stop since buying it. It's the best game I've ever seen to mix some of the elements of Civilization with the old Warlords series and other Warhammer games. "If you want a professional review, you're not going to get it from me" 😂😂 That just earned you a new subscriber.
The aesthetic reminds me of Endless Legends. Needs a lot more blood and gore.
Ah, I just wrote a similar comment. Too bad no one play Endless Legend. :(
"if you want a professional review, you're not gonna get it from me" hahaha
"Preservation is key in this game."
I'm fucked as an Imperial Guard player then.
Diplomacy in Warhammer huh ;p Thats EXACTLY how i imagined it. I mean, factions did team up in the past.. but it never lasted long, and they all had plans to kill each other in the end.
Starfals like working with the eldar, gotta make sure to fuck them over before they fuck you over
The UI looks like the one in Endless Space/Legend
So does the rest of the game
Yeah almost looks like they just put warhammer units in endless legends
looks...wierd, hope they are not gonna get sued, looks like a total rip-off. However, these might be just all free Unity assets.
maybe they licensed the engine?
That was the first thing I thought of! Must be a good game then. I wish Endless Legend received more fanfare because it was one of the best in the genre that I've played. Reminded me a bit of Master of Magic.
Dear Mack, are you going to do a WAB on 40k Inquisitor Martyr?
It had potential, was fun for about 30 hours, then the developers released shit patch after shit patch which broke the game so much and ruined everything, they also rushed release from Early Access to go with the Warhammer sale that was on, the game is still 100% in Early Access
I love this game too, it's superbly well designed.
Just got this game on sale for 3 quid and man what a 3 quid it is. I had 1 game with 2x necrons on a team 2x orcs on a team and i had SM with a Astra militarum on my team. game lasted 18 hours. Gonna try necrons next :). Everything Mack said was on point
Been watching you since I was in middle school, funniest and coolest reviewer on YouTub, brings back memories
Mack, I have been participating in the insurgency sandstorm alpha, and I really like it. I want to pre order in order to take advantage of a loyalty disount but at the same time its bad for the industry, at the other hand its an indie game. What should I do?
Mack, what ever happened to Mackscorner? I desperately need to watch you playing Call of Juarez and yelling "sonbitch" over and over again!
Just for you I will upload that episode to the bunker right now if I can find it :) (link in description)
I effing love you, Mack!
Mack, can you also reupload the video where you enter a time loop and start arguing with yourself? To me, that's the funniest video you ever made.
Endless Legend: Warhammer Edition
"And a marvel T-SHIRT" ding the bell......
What is this heresy an actual good 40k game?
Roy Chubby Brown has really gotten up to date.
Mack talks shit about people who play Warhammer but I bet he did his fair share of hanging around in Games Workshop stores in the past.....
With his neck beard and blue haired girlfriend :D Don't deny it Mack, you used to be a huge nerd!
Not gonna buy until i get my favorite, Tau race
Ive been waiting for this, a rough evolution of the board game. I think this means they accept the irl boardgame isnt going to resurge.
The Emperor demands you review Warhammer 40k Inquisitor:Martyr. Burn the heretic. Purge the daemons.
Hi Mac, could you please review Onward? It's a V.R. game on steam. First person shooter (no teleporting).
Using an old relic as a space marine? that is some serious heresy!
It's not as deep as old Megg, so you don't need a blue haired girlfriend ;-)
I got it for free from epic store so I’m so very happy
is it kinda like endless legend?
Civilization VII - Warhammer Edition!
looks like beyond earth with warhammer setting
Sir Edward Heath it's hard since the wildlife is brutal and there is no peace
If I painted my hand with blue paint is it count as girlfriend? 😀😅😰😥
No but it will still solve your blue ball situation...
so 8th edition has been out for how long and we dont have primaris marines in the video games?
huge galaxy brain because they’re just a garbage idea
Seems lot like Civilization. Who made this one?
Vladimír Mlečenkov some kind of warhammer series.
Looks like it but way harder
It's not harder, it's just bland and 1 Dimensional.
Yes the wildlife is hard and you have to build units. Congrats that's it.
The lack of Diplomacy, means of expanding without war or good economy and bank game means 100% of the Playtime boils down to "Spam lotso Units. That's it"

While it is very "Warhammer" it makes for a very poor, tedious and bland 4X Experience.
Bain would love this game! :( RIP John!
Looks like it uses the Pandora engine. That would explain the drabness.
Just a update , after 300hours of game-play , finished all four factions , Both campaigns and conquest victory's , Well worth the £30 , (imo) ,
I now feel I have a basic idea how the army's work , I hope !
WAT! no chaos, the gods will not be pleazed
At first I was all "OH NO NOT A 40K SHIT PILE AGAIN!"

My bet is this is a probing game. 40k has a shitload of factions and subfactions, and if this base game sells well I'd bet they'll make content for the rest.
All hail The God Emperor!
But which one is he talking about......
Love your channel! Going to try this one out after your recommendation.
All this has been done before. But its now an old game. Its Blue Bytes Battle Isle series. If you like this, you should at least try Battle Isle 3. Old game, but man the gameplay is awesome.
Civilization simplified with Space Marines?
It can't get any simpler than Civ tbh
oh yes it can.
Its not like civ due to the wildlife being a lot more hostile and numerous. It's a real challenge to deal with.
Daniel v.d Vis civ is a game that's easy to pick up and learn but hard as shit to master
Rex1987 than this game will please you.
Was waiting for your review. Awesome! Now to get the popcorn.
omg "may grow neck beard" , definitely worth a buy
I'm actually surprised we haven't seen a civilization Warhammer game. Seems everyone is doing some warhammer stuff and you can sometimes get good quality like in Total War. Shame it hasen't been done.... yet

It's in a few but I can't remember which ones.
Luca, try this one: ruclips.net/video/_bMVeO-oejU/видео.html
And this one: ruclips.net/video/n8Tq_V8OqEg/видео.html
thank you very much Centurion! Exactly what I was looking for
You're welcome! Enjoy.
This is a game I am interested in, my main problem is that it's too dark... can't really see anything XD... I know it's the grim dark future but come on lol. Apart from that I would like more faction but we will probably get those... 4 factions is pretty good to start with though
Definitely checking this out.
I don't know if anyone mentioned it, but kinda looks like Endless Legend
ORRRR you could spend $2000 to build one plastic army. Warhammer seems really cool, too bad it is so pricey to even try the irl version!!! Thanks for the cool review, will have to try this game I think.
Why is there no Chaos?
so i really liked Dawn of war then they did whatever DOW2 was and it spoiled it (IMHO) so im really hoping for something kinda like that to come back along, i dont mind turn based they can even be more fun as you dont need reaction times like a hamster on coffee for turn based game.
Do they have enough titles in this game?
Please say factions, one more time.... starts at 1:11 and never ends lol :D
Hello. Can you review Objects in Space? :)
40k diplomacy =best diplomacy :D
Looks kinda like civ 5 but warhammer
Liam O'Brien except the wildlife is fucking insane to deal with
It's not harder, it's just bland and 1 Dimensional.
Yes the wildlife is hard and you have to build units. Congrats that's it.
The lack of Diplomacy, means of expanding without war or good economy and bank game means 100% of the Playtime boils down to "Spam lotso Units. That's it"

I hate those Windows Style icons they recently used in almost all games.
Hard to pick out the units from the dark map background.
Hm, does not really intrigue me, so I will stay with DOW I and II.
do worth a buy on islands of nyne
No first person mode?
DoW 3 without Chaos... Gladius without Chaos AND without Eldar... sometimes i don't understand :D
"If you're looking for a professional review you won't get it from me". lmao You fucking kill me! yeah man it takes forever.
This or Total War Warhammer?
could you do inquisitor martyr?
I see a tiny bit of soy seeping into the comment section.
lol
The soy must be purged! we must prevent the saggy tit corruption!
May i ask what does soy mean? I've been seeing it a lot lately as an insult on the internet. Not exactly sure what it means and how do i use it?
Mr Fisher Sorry to hear that you're a stupid, worthless Nazi.
zintosion "soy boy" is a phrase that Nazi fuckwits use to refer to people who aren't worthless Nazis because it makes them feel superior.
Wait the space marines have terminators and predators, that's a bit unfair
Zebedee Totty nah man the necrons are the ones to worry about even more so if you up the tomb tiles population
One should be grateful for having a girlfriend to begin with, no matter her hair color :)
Found the nice guy
HA HA!
Has anyone else had trouble starting the game it just keeps saying error
Damnit I just shaved my neck beard...gotta let it grow back and also force my girlfriend to get some purple in her hair...then Ima play the shit outta this game
Next level Neck Beard: dye it purple!
Any word on a console port for this? ;)
Love your content, makes for a good way to start my day
never clicked on a video so fast ty for the review Mack
>warhammer 40k
>diplomacy
pick one
Are you a Heretic?
No
Yes you are *BLAM*
Warhammer 40k diplomacy 101
The Problem with No diplomacy in a 4X games is that it turns it into the most boring meatgrinder, cheese and stalemate fest.
Playing it is like tossing a coin.
Do you completely roll over the AI in your first engagement or do you sit there both sides throwing units at each other for 2 Hours until someone *cough* space marine orbital bombardment *cough* snipes the Production.
While it is very "Warhammer" it makes for a very poor, tedious and bland 4X Experience.
...so this game is Endless Legends, right?
A multiplayer Warhmammer40k game with Necrons that isn't vomit on bread? Sign me up
Nope. Necron are still annoying to deal with.
Whoever came up with the Idea in the First Place to give the slowest Faction that is from the Ground up very strong Teleport abilities deserves to get shot.
It makes for such bad balancing in RTS or 4X games (see DoW:DC)
Forza Motorsport 7 & GT SPORT Review?
i think growing a neck beard is a positive thing :)
OK MAC. you and I have almost identical taste and its on sale now so going to buy. Thanks.
Civilization meets w40k
my girlfriend has purple-ish hair, I feel personally attacked
Sounds a lot like endless legend 40k.
Warhammer “a SHIT TON” Gladius.
Reminds me a lot of Endless Legend
Great ending
Good to hear, on my buy list ;] lol glad your reviews arn't professional.
It's on sale for half off on steam! Get it while it's hot! XD
