I hope I am not alone in thinking three things are true with this band: 1.) This duo gives the feeling I am listening to 90's Sonic Youth album but in the modern time and this awesome. 2.) They actually sound great live and are just a fun loving band who are great friends that happen to be a decade apart in age from each other. 3.) Beth is hot, I mean like ubermega hot!!!
Bro, this is so far away from sonic youth. Every band is far away from sonic youth "sonically" In other words, Best Coast sounds formal compared to them.

What kind of a question is that? Grunge is a dumb term that is meaningless. Indie means independent. Are they on an independent label? If so, yes, if not, no.
the band are on point, she needs vocal lessons to sound as good as the production. Not great live. There are a few band that live up to their production or sound even better live like Wolf Alice however, the songs are great.

I normally find their live mix to be a little loose but the Guitar Center sound engineers dialed this in to perfection. Bravo to the band and techs. 👏
