So he didn’t had to endure the pressure of being a archon-
Ive heard that raiden didn’t abandon him but more set him free and have him an object that shows he has her protection (shown in artifact set used by everyone)
It still doesn't sound great. She created a living being, a child, she knew he had emotions so it's not like throwing out an unfeeling robot, she still threw him into the wild.
Imagine a mom who doesn't like that her 12 year old is not qualified to become a president yet so she "sets him free" into the Amazon rainforest with nothing but a golden feather.

Meanwhile, I did a random 10 pull for Kokomi's donut and I got Wanderer's bell. Did a quick check to see who can use this and the results made me so annoyed that I looked at my 70ish pity and lack of guarantee on character banner and made an executive decision I will never regret. Still mad I didn't get donut though.

In fairness....Ei would agree with this sentiment. From the start, she didn't want to be the archon and didn't think she was qualified to be one. She knew she was more suited for fighting, so she won the war for her sister, who was more diplomatic and nice
