I got into comics by reading the DC classics Watchmen, Kingdom Come, The Dark Knight Returns, etc... But where I really got into the main continuity was reading Green Lantern Rebirth. The man bleeds DC. He knows how to write all the characters phenomenally well and tells great stories. I bought the three JSA Omnis and could only get to about half way through the third volume. That run just doesn't do it for me. The Black Adam story of him taking over his country with Atom Smasher is awesome though. There needs to be a Superman By Geoff Johns Omni! Shame on DC for that. That can lead into however many volumes of Superman New Krypton they need to do the Omnis for that. On the fence with this one. I can't remember how much I liked this run but I'll think it over as the months go on. Take care and peace.

I haven't read anything from the man that I haven't enjoyed. I consider it a mission that I succeeded completing his phenomenal Green Lantern run. I will never understand the way the dc maps omnibus. In this volume should be included Gradutaion day at least! They put the "author name" and then they exclude evertyhing else! Like Paul dini run on Batman! Arghhhhhh. It makes no sense
Agreed, they should have just collected the whole run rather then skipping issues - same with JLA - wish they had done the complete series rather than just the Morrison issues

Do a Retroview of Avengers by Hickman omnibuses, since we are getting a reprint this year it would be nice. And also when the F4 by Hickman omnibus comes out do a comparison of both, the previous version and the reprint.
A great run and so happy for all those who need this for their collection. I love reprints for growing collectors but DC needs to step up new books and PAD's Young Justice would be amazing. How does Timmy Drake not have his own run. Damn!

I got a used but in good condition copy and my binding/printing is solid. About the actual story though, I don't mind legacy characters yet I'm not necessarily a fan of them so I was a little nervous about how I'd like this omni and only took a chance on it because of Geoff, but as you say Johns just has a way about him in writing stories. This was a fun read.

@@DBZALLSTAR absolutely. One of the reasons why I checked it out was because I’m a big fan of Geoff Johns. Wrote some of my favorite comics of all time. For example his work on Superman, Green Lantern to me are peak DC.

Both great and different from each other. PAD and GG are both legends and have their own takes. This is a little more serious while YJ is flat out fun and funny but with tons of heart too. If I had to have one it would be YJ.
I love all the older omnibuses coming out. I’m getting them all! Even new 52 JL. To me the new stuff besides a couple titles are garbage. So older stuff it is!

Oddly enough my favorite era of the team was the titans 1999 but can’t wait to pick up the reprint
That run is way underrated, Devon Grayson always wrote those characters and the bat family really well.

I'd really like a deluxe edition for that one. Perez's artwork is so detailed and amazing in those that I just want to lay it out as flat as possible.
Remember that Geoff Johns had plans to expand the Titans but Paul Dini's event messed up his plans so he left.
