Best thing to do with a nice car like that is buy a new seal, it would probably work but it's messy so might not look the best, we needed them for the people who can't understand us ha ha 😀
Yea plan is to replace all the seals when it goes off road this winter, the seals didnt like the hot summer, was just looking a short term fix. Fingers crossed for this draw tomorrow🤞🏻looking forward to seeing the next project👌🏻

What would be the list price ? I ask this because I think you might be underselling this type of re-engineered car, It's a modern classic, your restoration has effectively created a nearly new car, not a crashed car 'done up', it belongs in a different category. At what age is a vehicle supposed to be valuable ? at what age or condition is a vehicle said to be 'worth it' Most older classics have a history that puts those questions immediately into context, take a late '60's racing Ferrari for example, crashed multiple times, check, repainted, check, mileage roll back, what's that ? £800K please sir. A car like a this M4 is always going to be desirable, in 30 years time it will be desirable, it's a monster so when does it override the norms of the current market and is subsumed into the 'classic' market ? well some vehicles almost do that from day one don't they, so why not sell it as and within that category of vehicle ? A lifetime ago I used to work in one of the top league motorcycle reconditioners/restorers and frankly a great motorcycle is/will always be a great motorcycle, and it (to me) seems like a shame that you haven't sold this car with its full documented history as evidence of its value. I hope that wasn't too long winded a view, but in future I'd be very interested to see how you could effect market price with reconditioned/restored/repaired modern classic cars. If I was in the market for an eight year old M4 I'd rather this car than most, for very obvious reasons. Well done on the resto Laa's

I disagree about including labour costs… how would you determine the costs, there are two blokes hands on and two partners financing and promoting… much better to take a similar approach to the Salvage Rebuild lads I’d say, detail the purchase price and parts then the final selling price determines the gross profit… be judged on that 🤷♀️ cracking job and excited to see another couple of projects fuzzed out 👏👏
It's our first build, a lot of money went into building the room and buying equipment so me and Liam said we'd do the first one for free in our spare time, that's why there's no labour cost in that one, the next will have it....but we still overspent with no labour 😬🤮

What would be the list price ? I ask this because I think you might be underselling this type of re-engineered car, It's a modern classic, your restoration has effectively created a nearly new car, not a crashed car 'done up', it belongs in a different category.
At what age is a vehicle supposed to be valuable ? at what age or condition is a vehicle said to be 'worth it' Most older classics have a history that puts those questions immediately into context, take a late '60's racing Ferrari for example, crashed multiple times, check, repainted, check, mileage roll back, what's that ? £800K please sir.
A car like a this M4 is always going to be desirable, in 30 years time it will be desirable, it's a monster so when does it override the norms of the current market and is subsumed into the 'classic' market ? well some vehicles almost do that from day one don't they, so why not sell it as and within that category of vehicle ?
A lifetime ago I used to work in one of the top league motorcycle reconditioners/restorers and frankly a great motorcycle is/will always be a great motorcycle, and it (to me) seems like a shame that you haven't sold this car with its full documented history as evidence of its value.
I hope that wasn't too long winded a view, but in future I'd be very interested to see how you could effect market price with reconditioned/restored/repaired modern classic cars.
If I was in the market for an eight year old M4 I'd rather this car than most, for very obvious reasons.

I disagree about including labour costs… how would you determine the costs, there are two blokes hands on and two partners financing and promoting… much better to take a similar approach to the Salvage Rebuild lads I’d say, detail the purchase price and parts then the final selling price determines the gross profit… be judged on that 🤷♀️ cracking job and excited to see another couple of projects fuzzed out 👏👏
It's our first build, a lot of money went into building the room and buying equipment so me and Liam said we'd do the first one for free in our spare time, that's why there's no labour cost in that one, the next will have it....but we still overspent with no labour 😬🤮
