He’s canonically the ultimate life form, and a virus is technically a living organism. He would have the virus “DNA” and the DNA od ones who survived the virus. Kars quite literally is either THE stand, or has a stand.
Not many viruses actually have DNA though. Most have a bundle of RNA instead, so it’s entirely possible that Kars doesn’t have the genetic material of the stand virus
@@templarianthefirst9022 I can't find the exact descriptions of what it means to be the Ultimate Lifeform, so I went with how the video described it. The jojo wiki states that the Ultimate Lifeform has "The ability to reshape their body on a cellular level to that of any kind of human, animal or plant" (JoJo's Bizarre Encyclopedia.) So if the wiki is to be believed, Kars can indeed shapeshift into a stand user and gain their powers. However, would Kars know what a stand user is? If he had never encountered a person with a stand before, he wouldn't have known about them or their genes. Thus, he wouldn't have tried to shapeshift into a stand user. Correct me if I'm wrong, its been a while since I've seen the show
What if the Red stone is like an aarow and is STAND power is to manipulate is body. I realy want to see in the story a STAND that can change the user gender.
Although it is technically non-cannon, the light novel Jorge Joestar has Kars return. In it, he doesn’t have his own stand, but being the ultimate life form, he can steal stands and upgrade them to an Ultimate version. Pretty wild stuff.
i remember a video saying something like that hermit purple was a manifestation of josephs hamon and since kars has like perfect hamon he would have a very powerful hermit purple
If ultimate Kars was shot out into space at exit velocity some 100 years ago, he’d be about 2.19E10 miles away at this point. Seems unlikely that he could return, but if he actually did get a stand, it might not be that crazy. I mean the hand could theoretically close that distance instantaneously
I always assumed that he'd develop an evolving stand the moment he found out what a stand was. Scary stuff considering how fast he adapts to other things.
If Kars did have a stand, he would have the Ultimate Stand meaning that he would have the abilities of every single stand, hence the name Ultimate stand because a stand is the spiritual reflection of the user ( I think )
That's why the novel make sense, since Kars have every DNA of every creatures on Earth, and if we consider virus as an organism, technically he could have every stands that ever existed but just never knew it
I feel like he wouldn't have a Stand but if he ever encountered a Stand User, he'd just... make his own. He'd be inspired and think "Huh... i will also make this into existence" and just make his own.
He did in a light novel. My personal theory is that somehow in space his body kept evolving until he went back in time and became the meteor that brought stands.
Funny thing is even if Kars can't see stands or doesn't have one he can still sense the distortions in the air they make when they try to attack him and just deflect them with a single finger. We have seen that stands become tangible by humans when they move to attack them, otherwise they couldn't hit anything that is not also a stand, and we even saw this in JoJolion firsthand with Gappy and Born This Way, so really he doesn't need one.
Could be a phenomenon stand like SM, Kars’ stand is just having everything’s dna baked into his body. So he can interact with stands and has all the fun powers it’s just that his stand is bonded to his body

Not many viruses actually have DNA though. Most have a bundle of RNA instead, so it’s entirely possible that Kars doesn’t have the genetic material of the stand virus
@@infiniteplanes5775 Kars would still have that bundle of RNA, as he literally is described as CANONICALLY “The Ultimate Lifeform”
@@templarianthefirst9022 I can't find the exact descriptions of what it means to be the Ultimate Lifeform, so I went with how the video described it. The jojo wiki states that the Ultimate Lifeform has "The ability to reshape their body on a cellular level to that of any kind of human, animal or plant"
(JoJo's Bizarre Encyclopedia.) So if the wiki is to be believed, Kars can indeed shapeshift into a stand user and gain their powers.
However, would Kars know what a stand user is? If he had never encountered a person with a stand before, he wouldn't have known about them or their genes. Thus, he wouldn't have tried to shapeshift into a stand user. Correct me if I'm wrong, its been a while since I've seen the show
@@infiniteplanes5775 well it really wasn’t fully described or given limitations. So I literally have no idea.
Instead of Having a Stand, he likely is simultaneously both a Perfect Being *and* his own Stand.
You forgot pucci he got his goal
no... he got dios goal.
Since he’s proficient in hamon to a solar degree, he probably has an even more cracked Hermit Purple variant than Jonathan.
I was just thinking he literally became a stand himself, the physical representation of a stand in himself. Like a physical stand, he is the stand.
Kars getting Light Mode alone is essentially becoming a Stand
In a spin-off, he came back to earth with every villains stand, but at max potential
That isn’t cannon
@@Thegreatbritshpenquin it was written with assistance from Araki, and with infinite alternative universes, it is possible
Even if he didn't have a stand, he would definitely be able to see them.
I like to imagine joseph in part 2 unconsciously using hermit purple to predict what others will say
There is a novel which shows exactly this. Kars can steal stands and perfect them to ultimate versions
What if the Red stone is like an aarow and is STAND power is to manipulate is body. I realy want to see in the story a STAND that can change the user gender.
What purpose would that have in the story
@@keelanburg657 yes what would changing your gender affect the story I think the thing kars was doing was already better
Or what if they're unrelated and he would have most likely developed hermit purple because he was a hamon user.
He IS the stand. His Ultimate Kars form is the manifestation of his fighting will.
kars could create hamon when he became the ultimate life form, its very likely he developed a stand
Although it is technically non-cannon, the light novel Jorge Joestar has Kars return. In it, he doesn’t have his own stand, but being the ultimate life form, he can steal stands and upgrade them to an Ultimate version. Pretty wild stuff.
Kars: you know I’m something of a stand user myself
He has every single stand ability that he could ever want
Kars : Ultimate life form. Can't survive in space. Tardigrades : "Who's that loser?"
He can survive, he just couldn't warm up.
Finally someone posted a theory i was obsessed about
i remember a video saying something like that hermit purple was a manifestation of josephs hamon and since kars has like perfect hamon he would have a very powerful hermit purple
Harmon is just a technique he acquired after gaining the powers of the sun. He would probably get an op stand capable of evolution
Stands are basically the manifestation of your soul, so yeah Kars must have a stand.
“Hey wait JoJo why are you wrapped in a bunch of purple vines?”
Id say yes. If he somehow managed to keep evolving he would have eventually gained knowledge of stands and obtain one.
what a chad he knew they couldnt fight his stand back so he didnt use it
If ultimate Kars was shot out into space at exit velocity some 100 years ago, he’d be about 2.19E10 miles away at this point. Seems unlikely that he could return, but if he actually did get a stand, it might not be that crazy. I mean the hand could theoretically close that distance instantaneously
Honestly used to think the virus came from kars’ dna being in space
Kars doesn't need a stand, the stand needs him
I think Kars is partially capable of creating stands from the virus and is able to grant people their stands.
Kars' Stand gave him the ability to be a gigachad.
If kars realized he had a stand, everyone would have been doomed.
I’m glad I wasn’t the only person asking this question.
I'd argue Kars would have to witness a stand before actually using one or have alot of time to explore all his powers.
I always assumed that he'd develop an evolving stand the moment he found out what a stand was. Scary stuff considering how fast he adapts to other things.
The virus doesn’t give you a stand you survive the virus by evolving a stand
Kars is currently living in the new universe
bros never heard of jorge joestar 💀
If Kars did have a stand, he would have the Ultimate Stand meaning that he would have the abilities of every single stand, hence the name Ultimate stand because a stand is the spiritual reflection of the user ( I think )
You know what Kars reminds me who? He reminds me about that crazy gym guy that was the embodiment of Hermes
Kars himself the Star Platina... haha
Ln kars:" allow me to introduce myself"
He did in a light novel. My personal theory is that somehow in space his body kept evolving until he went back in time and became the meteor that brought stands.
Pillarmen theme go hard as fuck
Have a stand ❌️
Be the stand 🚗
Funny thing is even if Kars can't see stands or doesn't have one he can still sense the distortions in the air they make when they try to attack him and just deflect them with a single finger. We have seen that stands become tangible by humans when they move to attack them, otherwise they couldn't hit anything that is not also a stand, and we even saw this in JoJolion firsthand with Gappy and Born This Way, so really he doesn't need one.
Kars has been alive frozen in space for generations, i wouldn't be surprised if he got a stand by now, maybe even one that could unfreeze him.
No wonder joseph knew everyones next line
We can just assume that cars body is so powerful that the poison got cured instantly
LN Kars: stand? Nah I got stand's'.
Kars doesn’t have a stand.
He is the stand.
Kars in some shit: frozen
Novel cars: Æ Æ Æ Æ
'36 Kars on Mars.'
- Jorge Joestar Novel
if Kars had a stand he'd say something about Joseph being wrapped in Hermit Purple as he would be able to see it
During Twintania release I believe that there was also an innate 300ms delay *BEFORE* your own connection to the servers was applied for everyone
(Nice use of the Astrophysics cover/remix of Awaken :)
also hot damn this is interesting
I reckon the red stone activated Joseph’s stand
Could be a phenomenon stand like SM, Kars’ stand is just having everything’s dna baked into his body. So he can interact with stands and has all the fun powers it’s just that his stand is bonded to his body
Wait I thought Joseph only got hermit purple after Jonathan’s somewhat living body got a stand
Stands are an alien virus, Kars is the pinnacle of all life on EARTH
he doesn't need stand he IS the stand
It’s weird to think that stand users would see p2 Joseph wrapped in his stand but he himself wouldn’t
Hamon gives the purple vine-like stand so i bet kars is covered in this vine
He’s probably able to see stands and defend against them but he probably can’t outright attack them or touch them unless on special circumstances
Imagine dio having the ultimate life form
