Stands are often humanoid, sure, but let's not forget, a stand is often as much a part of you as your hand or leg. We tend to give them distinct characteristics because they often look humanoid, but they're most often just a body part that just happens to be your soul

It's never confirmed or denied, all that we know is that the arrow detached after he put Diavolo in the deathloop. And we have no idea if Requiem stands only exist while they are in contact with the arrow, and we'll probably never know if GER still is giorno's stand

there is nothing that supports this line of thinking at all. the only time we see a requiem transformation revert was when polnareff took the arrow away from silver chariot before it could fully become chariot requiem.
