You failed to mention the very high risk of pancreatitis associated with this medication. After one dose I ended up in the hospital to deal with the situation. A little more serious than nausea and diarrhea.
I am sorry that you suffered from this side effect. But the risk for pancreatitis is not “very high”. It is between 0.1 to 1% and belongs to the uncommon adverse reactions.
I actually just took my first dose of Ozempic this morning. I have had a gastric bypass surgery and saw significant weight loss, but started to gain weight again, and hopefully the Ozempic will curb my cravings. Plus, I had erectile dysfunction, and there have a penile prosthesis. So not sure whether the Ozempic will have much effect on my penis but all in all this was great information. Thank you, doctor.
When do we get the pharmaceutical companies in the USA to make these drugs affordable for Americans? My insurance company won't pay for Ozempic for weight loss, I can't afford the $600 a month. I know patients in Europe pay far less out of pocket.
Clickbaity... BUT the info he shares is good AND it has to do with P_ size, testosterone, erections and prostate health. Long story short (or what I took from it): Obesity = bad for everything, including pp systems. These drugs work, and will give an edge of about 5-15%, according to studies. He, then, keeps sharing extra important info regarding the topics. Good video, with clickbaity title... I hate these doctors that make me learn new things (joke)
As a forever-fat guy, I hate my fupa... I guess we, fat guys, know the benefits of exercise and well balanced diet, but we are too lazy. Thank you for the reminder Doc.
I tried osembic and it didn't work for me. Gave me nausea but that's to be expected when food sits in your stomach. My diabetes is getting more and more out of control. I cannot control my blood sugars anymore even if I eat well. I keep thinking the only way to deal with it is to have surgery, like the bariatric surgery you mentioned. However, I am scared to think that I have to go to those steps to get my blood sugars in my weight off. I'm very insulin resistant and even my ENT can't find a solution
Doctor, I wrote in the comments the other day about my ED issues perhaps because of 6 lumbar spine surgeries I had in the last 3 years and you replied, saying Thank you for my comment and I very much appreciate your reply. In this video about obesity and these two drugs and into listening to it for about 90 seconds and realizied you maybe didn't have to make this video, but you did. That tells me that you are truly a very caring and thoughtful person and Doctor as well. So, thank you for producing these videos and you concern for Man and our issues. DP
Drugs instead of healthy food and exercise? 😢
Oops! You didn’t watch the whole video 😭 So sad…

@uro Correct… it’s very rare. And generally confined to ppl who have been losing a lot of weight extremely rapidly (and it’s rare even then).

the use of "for the rest of your life" in that constructive way deserves a 2 hour long standing ovation!
🙏😃

There is no other way to grab people’s attention. Believe me, I’ve tried.

In my next video I will explain mechanisms why the drug might not work.
Is there any reason to expect that these compounds will become more reasonably priced?
It depends on where you live. In the US, monthly costs for Wegovy add up to 1,350 USD whereas the same dose is sold for 350 USD in Germany.
@@UroChannel1A Thanks!
What about Mounjaro?

Thanks, Professor, a great video, as usual.😀🍻
Thank you, you are welcome!
I take semaglutide Rybelsus and it makes me really hungry. I start eating more at lunch.
Great to learn about the urologic benefits for Semaglutide. I suspect similar benefits from Mounjaro. Thank you for such an informative topic.
Thank you! Mounjaro showed even more pronounced effects. Until recently, it wasn’t available over here.
is this video done with AI?
No, I am truly that good myself!
@@UroChannel1A Amazing!!
Great info. Thanks!
How does Mounjaro compare to these?
It is more advanced. So far, it is not available in Europe.
Always informative and interesting..
Thank you very much!
