hello ive just got a vw minus a fridge like yourself. a year on from your purchase would you still recommend the brand ? i'd buy the 35 as will be alone and only looking the chill milk butter and s little cheese etc
I bought one of these and it is beyond me why they never gave you options for how you want the lid to open. I have cut my hinge off and got two hinges on the back side. So it hinges up and allows access to freezer and fridge the same. Totalfreeze 55 is mine. I also think they were super mean on the fridge size. 50mm longer would have been great.
@@CampervanJourney honestly with most packaging shapes from Aldi the fridge on mine being the largest is just too small. They should have given extra width

Hi JT I've just bought one of these but I'm puzzled about how different the temperature in the fridge section is. Is that just a few degrees higher that the freezer temperature that you set? Or is it a constant temp. once switched on, regardless of the setting? Can't see an explanation in the manual or on the website, so would appreciate your insight. Cheers Mark
Hi Mark, thanks for getting in touch. I can't give an exact answer, but from experience the fridge section stayed around 3-4 degrees whilst we were using when we were away in the summer. Hi! New sub here from England and a quick question. Maybe I missed it in this vlog but can you have the large section as the fridge and smaller section for the freezer and if so, would it get cold enough for ice cubes without freezing the fridge section. I really hope that made sense lol!
Hi there, thanks for watching and subscribing. I don't believe You can switch the frozen / fridge compartments round as it were, the larger compartment always gets coldest. They may offer a smaller freezer only option in their range of products. Hope this helps, cheers JT
Same query foe me. Ideally want a small freezer area for frozen fruit for smoothies and ice cubes and a larger fridge section for milk , wine, cans of drink. Looks good otherwise. Helpful review.

How many volts does yours pull at 12v? Mine hits the F1 error code so i have to set it to low and then long term it pulls 9 1v
I haven’t noticed to be fair, but we have not had any error codes. Next time we use it, I will check

I got the Total Freeze 45 at the NEC show this week- show price was £320, including a free trolley. Very pleased with it so far.
