      @@JusTwistCubing yeah just a quick info you need 3x1mm magnets

    • @JusTwistCubing
      @JusTwistCubing  3 месяца назад +1

      @@pixelpie986 Do you mean 3x1mm for the 54mm GuHong? The other comment told me that for 56mm GuHong I should use 3x1.5mm magnets.

    I have the GuHong Pro 56 Maglev and it’s my absolute favorite cube! The turning on it is the best of any cube I own. However to be fair, I don’t have a Tornado V3 or WeiLong WRM V10 yet, but plan to order one of each.

      GuHong's turning is uniquely good I like it a lot. I have the V3 too but honestly I think I perform better on the GuHong, probably due to turning style preference (V3's magnets are weaker, friction is higher but has better corner cutting). I am looking forward to getting a WRM V10 and make a review on it!

    I got the 55mm spring version and it became a instant main.
    I have a pretty rough and innacurate turning style and it handled turns perfectly, even in setting 5(the tightest) i never get big lock ups, the few locks that i get only feel like a bump in the turn instead of the large lockups i get in the RS3M 2020.
    Its fast, smooth and flexible while stable and controlable.
    Its a great cube, if you dont have, give it a try.

      Thanks for the insights! It looks like the 55mm GuHong is the best rated version.

      Thank you! I haven't tried the GuHong with edge repelling magnets yet (I am planning to add them manually) but I believe it will improve the cube!

    I have many versions of this cube. You are right, it's a great cube. Use 3x1.5mm magnets for the edges if you're cube is 55mm or 56mm, and 3x1mm ones for the 54mm version. Besides the magnetic effect, adding magnets also helps in better weight balance of the pieces and hence more even turning.

      Thanks for the insights! I will make a video about it and share what I think too after installing the edge magnets!

    hey what lubes will you recommend for this cube

    • @JusTwistCubing
      @JusTwistCubing  2 месяца назад

      Actually I haven't tried many lubes but what works for me is: around 2 drops of Gan No.1 (maintenance) and 1 drop of Gan no.2 (smooth).
      I wouldn't recommend adding gummy lubes on the GuHong cuz the turning is so smooth that you probably wouldn't wanna take it away. But lubes that are too fast may make the cube uncontrollable. So I prefer smooth + not-too-fast lube on the GuHong. Hope it helps!
