I still don't know how the hell they did this!
Imagine being that young and playing in a foreign country to that many people and barely even knowing the language.
    These girls are tough!

@@jaedo6180 Scratch barely, they didn't know the language. Su was totally shocked. This is the reason why they became friends with BMTH. A year later Moa and Yui had lost a lot of their fear, but Su didn't trust her language. And they suddenly met this boy with a Babymetal T-Shirt, so obviously a Fan. With the help of her English and Arms and Legs, they found out that he was a local boy that played for a local Bands and he offered his help as a local guide, since he seemed to know everyone. A gift from heaven for Su.

Great reaction - and good job with your pronunciation. This was not at Wembley Arena - they played there in 2016 in their own solo show. This was at Sonisphere Festival (Knebworth House, near Stevenage just north of London) in 2014.
This was their very first time in the UK and their first major event outside of Japan - they were virtually unknown in the west before this. They had originally been booked to play a small side stage, but the video for 'Gimme Chocolate' had gone viral and they were attracting attention, so with just a couple of months notice they were moved to play on the main stage.
They were worried nobody would come to see them (they couldn't see the crowd from back stage) and were surprised to see over 50,000 people waiting when they walked on stage.
Very few of the people there had heard of them so they were all very puzzled to see 3 small Japanese girls in red tutus on stage at one of the biggest metal festivals.
They played 5 songs and the crowd were puzzled at first but as the show went on they got more and more involved so by the time they played IDZ (the last of their 5 songs) most of the crowd were enjoying the show and joining in ... I don't know if you heard at the end as they walked off stage the crowd were calling "We want more!" and "One more song!"
Ijime, Dame, Zettai translates as Bullying, No More, For Ever or Absolutely. It is an anti-bullying song so in the choreo Yui and Moa are fighting and bullying each other - until Su steps between them and threatens to kick them both in the head if they don't stop.
It was 2 years later that they played Wembley Arena (not the football stadium - that is next door and holds about 90,000 people. The Arena is indoors and holds about 11,000). They were the first Japanese band ever to headline Wembley Arena.

Nice one, an iconic, and historic performance by Babymetal that won the mostly bewildered 50K UK metalheads haha.
As title suggests, Sonisphere is the festival venue, Wembley Arena was 2016’s performance, and it’s not the same as Wembley stadium (I believe it’s right next door to it).

Nice reaction! Yep, they were that tough even back then. Almost nobody of that massive UK metalhead crowd had a clue who they are, and most badly performing "gimmick" bands would have received bottles of p*ss instead of chants, crowd surfers, Mosh Pits and whatnot. Su-Metal, instead of trembling with fear, just said "that will be fun!" 😁 At the end they received "We want more!" chants, added on mosh pits, crowd surfing, crowd chants, merch sales like no one else on this festival that year... She still says in interviews that this performance is one of her most memorable/beloved moments of their career.
You should do a reaction to any of the performances they did at Wembley Arena in 2016, as you mentioned Wembley😉 "Song 4" or "4 no uta" (English title/(mostly) Japanese title) would be a nice one from the Wembley Arena concert.
"BLACK BABYMETAL", the Yuimetal & Moametal duo, with a self written song (they were credited for the lyrics), are rocking/reggaeing 12k EU/UK metalheads in the venerable Wembley Arena. A sight to behold! 😉

You will need up to 5-6 Wembley Arenas to fit all those people (50-60K), haha...
This is from Sonisphere 2014 (July 5th) ten years ago. In Knebworth Park in Knebworth, Hertfordshire, England.
"Ijime, Dame, Zettai" means "Bullying, no , absolutely" or "No more bullying forever" as they officially translated. You pronounced it way better than most of the reactors. 👍‍
It's obviously an anti-bullying song and their actual second song, according to the live performances, premiered live in July 2011.
They released it way later, in January 2013 probably because it's basically a straight power metal song and they had zero intention on getting pigeonholed in one genre.
This is probably the most important moment in their entire history, being their first big stage outside Japan and performing in front of one of the most potentially hostile audiences.
Su-metal was 16 years old while Yui and Moa just turned 15 (Moa the previous day). They had played a few times outside Japan at that time: in Singapore, Indonesia and Taiwan and a couple of gigs in France and Germany before this performance in the UK. So they were basically unknown except for the buzz online caused by the "Gimme Chocolate" MV going viral online.
The result is crystal clear: walking off the stage while the crowd was chanting for more can be considered an epic win.
The members are very aware of all this and even Su-metal has mentioned this in interviews.
They also sold more merch than any other band that weekend (including Iron Maiden, Metallica, Anthrax, Dream Theater, Slayer...).
Some call this "the Sonisphere miracle" but it's not. It's all about taking what you do seriously and blending genres and different styles with respect.
They rarely perform it live today. I traveled 400 miles each way just for the possibility that they did. It was totally worth it. 😁

Sometimes I imagine when they are at home with some free time (if they have any), will they watch the RUclips reaction videos of their performances? Will they only look at those from Japan or those from around the world? Or maybe they have someone hired to read their comments?
They probably don't have time for any of this, but it's funny to think that from time to time they watch these videos and read the comments personally.

They were booked on a much smaller stage 2.000 guests, but give me chocolate went viral on youtube and Metallica wrote a raving article about them. So they warned them that they wanted to push them to the main stage. Most of the guests did not knew what would happen when thre tiny girls appeared on th stage , followed by corpses. But Su observed tiny tries to follow the text and start to follow the motives. They saw that they followed oarts of the music without understanding the text.
