Great reaction. This was an extended version because it was their Tokyo Dome concerts, the finale of the first night and it was special as they sang this song that was created as a tribute to their fans ... The ONE.🦊
I don't think you noticed all the lights at the start during the piano intro were neck braces with LED bulbs ... 55,000 of them as everybody in the audience was given one to wear on the way in.
There were 3 coffin shaped runways heading out into the crowd from the main stage - one each for Su, Yui and Moa. They started the song at the end of the runways and then later they each had a moving platform that took them out to the end and back again (not just the two you noticed).
Watch the official music video for the half and half Japanese and English version plus you will see another spectacular stage production (and it is not as extended in that one).

Nice reaction! The song The One was created as a tribute to the fans, who are rightly called "the one". Some sections in this version were extended, such as the beginning and the end. When you can, react to the official version on BABYMETAL's channel, as the stage is impressive too.

Once again, like TotD, this song is pure prog metal, but in this case it's a ballad. The One is Babymetal's love letter to their fans. As you probably know, Babymetal fans are collectively known as "The One" and this song is Babymetal's tribute to us. There are actually two versions of The One; the original version is half Japanese and half English, and the full English version. When Babymetal traveled around the world, they noticed that overseas fans were singing along in Japanese and they were deeply touched that the fans had gone to the trouble of learning the Japanese lyrics, so they wanted to reciprocate by singing a song for them in English.
Although I wasn't at this performance (sadly), I have been in the crowd for several performances of The One and it's always a moving experience.
This song always gets a bit of a mixed reception from fans. Some people like me who really appreciate prog metal love it, but others find it kind of boring.

This is such an epic anthem. And there are worse things to have stuck in one's head. I've always wondered who does their keyboard work. Cause whenever the keys show up they are exemplary!

    Nice ONE, thanks! 😁
"TOTD" is Koba's tribute to Dream Theater. "The ONE" originated as a sort of spinoff from the first, based on that piano melody and is a tribute to their fans, also called The ONE.
This extended performance was the closer of Tokyo Dome Red Night show. And since I like little and distinctive details, there is a moment when Su-metal sees all the neckbraces lit for the first time and she looks amazed for a second before she returns to her usual full metal mode. That's a very Su-chan moment and we love it. 😊
I've experienced "The ONE" live in a couple of big format shows and, as a fan, it's something very special.
    🤘🦊

Nice reaction! You missed Su-Metal´s jaw drop, as ALL the crowd lights lit up 😉 One of the most awesome performances of this song. IMHO, the Yokohama Arena 2015 performance with the floating tetraeder is a little bit more awesome, but just a little bit 😄 It´s such a beautiful song, and the Kami Band absolutely kills it here. They are masters of their craft, no doubt!
