TOMY HIT AND MISSILE Game

This vintage 1979 TOMY HIT AND MISSILE Game is an electro-mechanical nightmare and almost was thrown out the window several times. I fixed one problem then three others would crop up. Several times I had it completely assembled, only to have new issues crop up. I guess TOMY didn't design this game to last 44 years!

Nice work! Definitely a blast from the past! I didn't own this, but I remember playing it so presumably at a store... maybe Service Merchandise or Kay-Bee Toy & Hobby. If I recall, they were attached to a display table.

A common issue with these electro-mechanical Tomy games is that the nylon gears split or crack, causing them to spin on the shaft. Generic nylon gear kits are readily available on Amazon.
