Headless Halloween was the first Goosebumps 2000 book I have read and I absolutely LOVE it! it's at the top of my list and I'm so happy it's number 1 on yours too!! it's such a fun ride!!
I'm endlessly excited you chose Headless Halloween for #1. I was obsessed with this particular book as a "Goosebumps kid". When I finished it I was convinced it was perfect, and I kept it all these years. I am not involved in the Goosebumps fandom community at all online, but I feel pretty satisfied someone agrees with me!

Awesome! I've been waiting on this vid since I first found your channel a few months ago and it's finally here! I had all the original 62 and all 25 Series 2000 books as a kid (also around half of the GYG books as well.) and my mother threw most of them out or took them to Goodwill or something. I managed to find a box with maybe 30 books total between those three series in my parents attic and proceeded to re buy the rest of the original 62 and the rest of the Series 2000 books. I plan on re reading all of them in numerical order. It'll be awhile before I get to the Series 2000 books, but I can't wait to see how my ranking compares to yours once I do! I only remember a few of them, but I know I loved the Slappy books and Return to Horrorland (I'm guessing because they were sequels to beloved OG books). You seem like a cool dude, and your channel pretty much reignited my love for these books as an adult! Thanks for all the vids and I thoroughly enjoyed this one!

Your #1 certainly belongs at #1 I love that one too. Also very much agree about Graveyard Ghouls, don’t understand why it is so highly regarded. I’d say Full Moon Fever is my least favorite 2000 entry but Be Afraid - Be Very Afraid isn’t far off, maybe #24.
Really enjoyed series 2000 mostly because of the darker tone of the books and was disappointed to find out we where supposed to get more then 25 books. My personal ranking would be 1. Hi there! I had started reading the books again during a back injury I had in 2018, right around early summertime of that year. From then until early this year, it took me practically that entire time, even though I took a month of two off of reading reviewing, every once in a while (especially from 2020 to 2023, due to my wife having to work from home, at the time). Took a long time, but I loved almost every minute of it. Still kind of burnt-out from reading so many of them, though 😂
