I just closed it after that "pineapple" in the front of the dress was done. i started crocheting in rows by closing it. You might (or not) need to add some chains before closing, the best it's to try it on.

I think you can use every fine (no 2) yarn. Cotton only is usually not stretchy enough so consider maybe one mixed

Okay, this video is one chaos, you stopped showing how to finish top and skip to skirt 🤦♀️
That's not the skirt, it's the basic pattern for that design that you can see in front of the top and then it repeats again when doing the skirt. All the details are in the written pattern~^^
