I enjoyed your video. I tow a Hobie Sailing boat behind my ATTO3 and want to tow from Mandurah to Busselton so your calculations give me an idea at least. I am doing the $100 test on mine and I have travelled 2500kms so far on $50.00. I use my free solar at home, free charging at our shopping centre and also free charging at a resort we stay at in Sorrento. I watched your video’s Perth to Kalgoorlie and now feel confident I could do that journey in the future. I am loving this car.
Great to hear! It's good that we can at least do some towing without having to buy a really large SUV EV. Finally the EV network is getting some traction in W.A. which is good. I too have solar, its a no brainer really, before this I had a PHEV and also rarely paid for petrol except on a long trip. Best of luck with your travels!
*hey mate, i’m trying to figure out where u did most of the filming. Obviously its in the hills, but where exactly? especially **8:45** thats a beautiful shot.*
@@bydatto39461 *thanks for the reply, i was also wondering if the driver has parked and locked the car. Is there a way for the passenger to open and unlock the car from the inside without reaching over to the drivers side door.*

That's just in Kalgoorlie near the Super Pit, just off the bypass Road

Do you know if BYD Australia has published the allowed maximum towing capacity for the Atto 3 and the Seal?
As WA is a relatively flat country I assume the test drive didn't include hill climbs or descents of significants.
Correct, around town is very flat, a difference of perhaps 5m

How much range do you get at different speeds 60-80-100 kph etc?
Haven't done those tests. Won't be towing more than about 70km/ hr!
Oh man, you hung a trailer on your Atto 3😀
