I dedicate this song to a friend of mine who died 11 months ago. She was there for me on my "coldest winter nights" even though they were in fall and spring. She came out of nowhere and helped me, and I wanted to repay her, to say thank you. Then she suddenly died in a car accident last May. I sing this song all the time, and hope she hears me.
This song I listened to when I met my real mom 9 years ago.. She died of cancer 5 years ago at the age of 49 and this song was played on her funeral.. It has a double meaning for me

I GOT MY MOTHER TO LIKE THIS SONG! ...that;s quite a big achievement for me! I also got her to love Memento Mori (also by Kamelot if you didn't know)! My mum, who 'doesn't like metal', likes MEMENTO MORI!
