im commenting this before i forget cause you just started listening to Romance: Ray (the lead guitarist) is of puerto rican and portuguese heritage and Frank (the rhythm guitarist) is of italian descent so i think that explains many of their spanish and italian sounding guitar moments
THERE WE GO THATS WHY. I knew about frank but not so much about ray! I think Gerard also has Italian roots which is super cool! Thank you for the info lore!
EEEEE im so happy you decided to react to bullets!! alright long excited comment incoming, sorry :D On romance, you're absolutely right about it being a classical spanish guitar piece! It is the same song, just sped up with the radio effects in the background lol If im remembering correctly, honey this mirror is about gerard's struggles with drug addiction, and saying that they don't have a place in his life. Also, it slaps. I find it funny that you said you hate when they build up to the end and then just cut it all off haha, I actually love it. I think it makes for a really dramatic finish and its cool to hear them add back in all the layers that were in different parts of the song Ahhh, vampires, a true fandom favorite. It has so many different sections to it that probably shouldn't work together, but somehow do. I love this song so much, especially the bridge? (they didn't care too much about song structure on this album lmao) the part that starts with "someone call the doctor, and someone call the nurse.." etc. I just love the buildup there and there's something about the melody that's just _cheffs kiss_. They've also played this one live a bunch since then, and I think some of the newer live versions are even better than the original. You may not have noticed, but pretty much all of the songs on bullets have the tendency to get faster and faster as they go along, since their drummer at the time refused to use a metronome (which isn't a bad thing imo for this album, it adds its own flavor to it). It's kind of nice to hear the song at tempo the whole way through Drowning lessons has been one of my favorites lately. That little riff you pointed out at the end is so pretty
MAJESTIC BURGERRRR WHATS UPPPPPP! I was actually wondering what had happened bc I hadn’t seen your comment in a long time and I always love reading your insight. Dude, drowning lessons is off my playlist now because it’s supposedly bad luck😂 and super cool that franks signature move is following the voice and guitar together. It sounds FIRE 🔥Anyways I’m super glad to hear from you again! Thank you for coming back! Much love🫶😁
one more fact drop and i'll leave you alone (for now): Gerard never took any singing lessons or like vocal coaching, his grandma did teach him how to use his voice and i believe he took some voice warm up lessons later on but for their early work (including Three Cheers) he was literally just doing his own thing without having taken any singing classes and i just think that's amazing considering his vocal performances (i felt the need to comment this since you commented on his scream in Our lady of sorrows), now ik lots of people say you don't need to have a good voice for screaming but i still think his screams are impressive (even though they might not be technically correct) also Our lady of sorrows is one of my favorite songs of theirs, so glad you gave it a heart :D also you're probably the first person who didn't comment on the production of this album. lots of people complain that the production is low quality and that Gerard's voice isn't great (since yk he was just starting to learn to use his voice) but fans find that to be part of this album's charm, it's so raw and genuine when it comes to the sound and vibe, i think all of mcr's work is raw and genuine when it comes to message and the emotions they display through the songs, but bullets (and their new song if you wanna check that out 👀) is the album that has the sound to go with that, it's just so authentic yk? anyways loved the reaction, can't wait for part 2 and hey, ur still coughing :/ take good care of yourself dude, stay safe!
I am genuinely impressed that he never took vocal lessons. He is amazing with his voice dude! It would make sense that his grandma taught him how to use it because you probably already know this, but helena on the black parade is about his grandma and how he couldn’t say goodbye to her after everything she did for the band. So he felt bad because she was one of the few who actually believed in him. It’s pretty sad but they brought it to be something good. And dude, the quality of the album is actually not too bad. I like the raw feeling of it because you can hear EVERYTHING. Thank you for the info!😁🫶
YEAHH BULLETS!!! Our Lady of Sorrows is one of my favourite MCR songs, and definitely my favourite in this album. The original demo version, Bring More Knives, actually has even more screaming - I almost like that one better, which says something considering how much i love OLOS.

Bullets is definitely a very interesting album in my opinion. It's very cool to see how the guys started out, raw and unclean. It's beautiful! I'm really excited for part 2 because one of my favourites (Skylines and turnstiles) is on there! It's definitely not my favorite album, but it is severely underrated and it's been growing on me lately! This album is definitely a big piece of MCR history, and it's just so amazing. Also, fun fact! All the demos for Bullets were originally recorded in an attic, so they're called the attic demos. I just think that's pretty funny lol. Also, another fun fact which I is the reason I love Skylines so much. It was the first song Gerard wrote in response to the 911 attacks, and it couldn't have sent a better message. I'll say more about it in part 2 because it's very interesting, but no spoilers of course! Okay, not necessarily a spoiler, but I do have to say that I absolutely love how Bullets ties into Three Cheers, and I think you'll see how at the end of the album. And it's not a spoiler cause you literally saw the name of the song, but the title of one of the song, Demolition Lovers, is actually referring to the two people in the story of Three Cheers. You know the story behind that album already, so I think you know what I'm talking about. Anyway, I just think it's really interesting to see all the thought put into this album. The world was real at the time, and if the guys hadn't decided to make this, who knows where we'd be now? Also, your guitar playing is beautiful! It'd be really cool if you made some videos about it! :D
Yes dude! I Can see how they connect to three cheers! Ok you’re talking a lot about the next video and I REALLY DONT wanna spoil my thoughts on it for you because I want to hear what you say. i love how you said drowning lessons is such a vibe and that it's dreamy and you were vibing to it but it has some of the darkest lyrics mcr has written :)))) (and that says a lot). i don't remember the meaning very well but basically there's this guy and his lover is dead (either she killed herself or he killed her) and he kind of has an imaginary wedding with her and then he disposes of her body by throwing it in an empty well ("and lifeless cold, into this well"), also the lyrics "your twisted shell" suggests that her body was yk in a disturbingly weird position from falling into the well sorry if i ruined the song for ya haha also drowning lessons is considered a cursed song by the band, they only played it like 3-4 times around 2002-2003 (after this album came out) and every time something bad would happen (like the gear would explode or one of them would get injured or stuff like that) so they stopped playing it. as far as i know they really never played it again
Even very recently they said they won't play it "we don't want to" they said lol. And I think that's fair enough considering all the things that 've been happening when they still performed it
OMG DUDE… thats WAYYYYYYY darker than I thought😂 now I’m not gonna be able to listen to it the same 😃 now that it’s bad luck… it’s coming off my playlist lol. But hey, It’s cool to know the story of the songs because it is super interesting how they thing and put sounds together with stories. Anyways, let’s hope I’m not cursed or have bad luck now😅 I appreciate you lore🫶
First, your thumbnails are hilarious. Second, The Black Parade might be their best work, but there's something so raw and genuine about this album that makes it one of my favorites. If you're looking for more good alternative music from that era, Paramore's album Riot is awesome and a classic. Also, The Killers' albums Hot Fuss and Sam's Town are amazing and worth checking out.

Nah dude to me all of their albums are amazing. I could see why people don't like it as much, but I like to put myself in the mindset that this is how they started. This is where all of their art came from. This exact album started it all. Anyways, thank you for all of your support dude! Much Love!
What you are saying about the tempo changes and mood shifts? I'd say that's what makes this 'emotional hardcore' or 'emo'. Theres never a sense of 'oh, this is a fast song' or 'oh, this is a ballad' The emotion of the narrative dictates the form. So you get anger and frustration sitting right alongside melancholy. One song can pitch and roll as it runs through pockets of emotional turbulence. * Also - playing two rhythms simultaneously? That's called a 'Polyrhythm' and yeh, they are great fun. 2 over 3 & 3 over 4 polyrhythms are relatively common. But I recommend checking out Adam Neely's video on 'Groovy Rhythms to break your brain'
This is probably my least favourite of them, but there's a couple songs in this album that are so so amazing, Demolition Lovers, Vampires and Drowning Lessons are one of my favourites :)

It certainly has been the two best nights of my life so far, and they’re the nicest dudes always looking out for people in the crowd. Hearing Thank You For The Venom live in the pit is a religious experience I wish for you to enjoy some day😁😁
im commenting this before i forget cause you just started listening to Romance: Ray (the lead guitarist) is of puerto rican and portuguese heritage and Frank (the rhythm guitarist) is of italian descent so i think that explains many of their spanish and italian sounding guitar moments
THERE WE GO THATS WHY. I knew about frank but not so much about ray! I think Gerard also has Italian roots which is super cool! Thank you for the info lore!
Gee and Mikey are actually part Italian too!
I loved how you picked up your guittar as soon as you heard Romance
EEEEE im so happy you decided to react to bullets!! alright long excited comment incoming, sorry :D
On romance, you're absolutely right about it being a classical spanish guitar piece! It is the same song, just sped up with the radio effects in the background lol
If im remembering correctly, honey this mirror is about gerard's struggles with drug addiction, and saying that they don't have a place in his life. Also, it slaps. I find it funny that you said you hate when they build up to the end and then just cut it all off haha, I actually love it. I think it makes for a really dramatic finish and its cool to hear them add back in all the layers that were in different parts of the song
Ahhh, vampires, a true fandom favorite. It's kind of nice to hear the song at tempo the whole way through
Drowning lessons has been one of my favorites lately. That little riff you pointed out at the end is so pretty
MAJESTIC BURGERRRR WHATS UPPPPPP! I was actually wondering what had happened bc I hadn’t seen your comment in a long time and I always love reading your insight. I appreciate all the details you gave! Dude, drowning lessons is off my playlist now because it’s supposedly bad luck😂 and super cool that franks signature move is following the voice and guitar together. It sounds FIRE 🔥Anyways I’m super glad to hear from you again! Thank you for coming back! Much love🫶😁
@@nachobusinezzreacts haha yeah I haven’t been around lately cause of crunch time before my spring break. Happy to be back though!

for this album, cubicles is a personal favorite of mine
i love it so much it's so good
The beginning of the journey.. raw and beautiful!
That’s what she said🤭 jk thank you for your support dude🫶
one more fact drop and i'll leave you alone (for now): Gerard never took any singing lessons or like vocal coaching, his grandma did teach him how to use his voice and i believe he took some voice warm up lessons later on but for their early work (including Three Cheers) he was literally just doing his own thing without having taken any singing classes and i just think that's amazing considering his vocal performances (i felt the need to comment this since you commented on his scream in Our lady of sorrows), now ik lots of people say you don't need to have a good voice for screaming but i still think his screams are impressive (even though they might not be technically correct)
also Our lady of sorrows is one of my favorite songs of theirs, so glad you gave it a heart :D
also you're probably the first person who didn't comment on the production of this album. lots of people complain that the production is low quality and that Gerard's voice isn't great (since yk he was just starting to learn to use his voice) but fans find that to be part of this album's charm, it's so raw and genuine when it comes to the sound and vibe, i think all of mcr's work is raw and genuine when it comes to message and the emotions they display through the songs, but bullets (and their new song if you wanna check that out 👀) is the album that has the sound to go with that, it's just so authentic yk? anyways loved the reaction, can't wait for part 2 and hey, ur still coughing :/ take good care of yourself dude, stay safe!
Thank you for the info!😁🫶
omg this is MY FAVORITE album of them! thank you so much for your service king
No… thank YOU for watching the videos Queen💪😁
YEAHH BULLETS!!! Our Lady of Sorrows is one of my favourite MCR songs, and definitely my favourite in this album. The original demo version, Bring More Knives, actually has even more screaming - I almost like that one better, which says something considering how much i love OLOS.
Ooooo I would have to give the other version a listen but yes! Our lady of sorrows is such a good song! Definitely up there for me too! Thank you for your support and for watching😁🫶
I own a copy of this album on CD under the original red eye label. Got it at Hastings in 2005.
WHAT?! NO WAYYYYYY! Dude that’s something you’re gonna wanna hold on to for the rest of your life. Lemme buy it from you😃 jk I don’t even own a CD player but I wish I did. Thank you for your support!❤️
it made my day!! thank you!
«honey, this mirror isn't big enough for the two of us», «vampires will never hurt you», «early sunsets over monroeville» & «demolition lovers» are my favs 🥰🥰
i would recommend you to react to gerard's solo album «hesitant alien» and frank's «parachutes». they're great!
WHATS UP ANNA! Omg they have solo albums?! I’m gonna have to check it out now😂 I’m super glad that you enjoyed the video and that it made your day! Thank you for coming back as always😁❤️
@@nachobusinezzreacts they have A LOT of staff :)
idk if you know, but they broke up and came back in 2019.. then covid happened... and then they came back AGAIN, released a beautiful song called «the foundations of decay» and now touring.
their concerts are incredible and gee's killing us with his outfits. many people, including me, watch them on Instagram.
i love this band so much ❤️🩹
@@o5liviate not gonna lie I’ve watched them on instagram too!😂 they’re just so amazing dude. Still gotta give foundation of decay a listen. Sadly, I caught them late into the tour because they’re not coming through where I live so that’s a bummer. Hopefully there will be another time🥲 becoming a killjoy little by little everyday
@@nachobusinezzreacts i'm from russia, so 100% will never see them or any of my fav bands/singers live.
really hope you'll make it someday 🥺
@@o5liviateWHAT?! Aww dude Im so sorry that sucks! Hopefully you’ll be able to see them someday and have the time of your life dude. They have never been to Russia??
So in part 2 I’ll definitely explain to you more in the comments. Thank you for all of your support dude you’re truly an amazing person and super fun to talk to too! Always look forward to reading your comments.
Ps: thank you for your comments about the guitar and the fun facts! I would talk to you so much about it but I don’t wanna spoil it😂🫶
It's been great hearing your thoughts and sharing mine! I'm super excited for part 2 I can barley contain myself x')
ALSO OMG GUITAR REVEAL!!! AND THAT LITTLE PIECE YOU PLAYED WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AND SOOTHING I NEED MORE PLEASE SHOW US MORE
sorry for the comment spam i'm excited
AWWWW YOURE TOO NICE BRO YOURE MAKING ME CRACK A BIG ASS SMILE. I’ll see if I post a bit more of guitar playing later👀
You should listen to stomachaches, frank iero (the rhythm guitarist)’s first solo album!!! It’s amazing 🥰
yessss i’ve been waiting for a reaction to this album, it’s so good. Love all the reactions man keep it up 🔥
Thank you so much! glad you can enjoy them :)
i love how you said drowning lessons is such a vibe and that it's dreamy and you were vibing to it but it has some of the darkest lyrics mcr has written :)))) (and that says a lot). i don't remember the meaning very well but basically there's this guy and his lover is dead (either she killed herself or he killed her) and he kind of has an imaginary wedding with her and then he disposes of her body by throwing it in an empty well ("and lifeless cold, into this well"), also the lyrics "your twisted shell" suggests that her body was yk in a disturbingly weird position from falling into the well
sorry if i ruined the song for ya haha
also drowning lessons is considered a cursed song by the band, they only played it like 3-4 times around 2002-2003 (after this album came out) and every time something bad would happen (like the gear would explode or one of them would get injured or stuff like that) so they stopped playing it. as far as i know they really never played it again
Anyways, let’s hope I’m not cursed or have bad luck now😅 I appreciate you lore🫶
as a person who mastered drums, I completely agree with you. it took me 3 years just to learn drums
i recommend gerard ways solo project hesitant alien or frank ieros album parachutes, great video :))
Someone else recommended me these as well so I’m definitely gonna give them a listen!😁 thank you!🫶
First, your thumbnails are hilarious.
The most underrated MCR album.
The best drums.
This Is The Best Day Ever is my favorite MCR song of them all- I only wish it was not one of their shortest.
I can see why it is one of your favorites! ABSOLUTE PIECE OF ART just like their others. You can never go wrong with some MCR.
Omg!! I was waiting for this! Glad you're feeling better.
Thank you so much dude! Part 2 coming soon👀 (and the Michael Jackson songs too)😉

I think their best song is on this album,Headfirst for Halos. This song is so happy and so SO dark. If you don't know, this song is about suicide. Plain and simple. But a lot of great songs on this album like,Honey,Vampires,DROWING LESSONS IS UNDERRATED,Best Day,Cubicles, and off Demolition

Little breakdown (I haven’t seen it in your past videos)
Gerard way-lead singer
Mikey Way-Bass
Ray Toro-lead guitar
Frank Iero- Rhythm
They are the core members. They have had 3 drummers.

Bob drummed for Black Parade and Danger Days
Both were fired.

WHATTTT?! The drummers can't seem to stay huh? Thank you for the summary and your support :)
MY FAVORITE ALBUM!!!!
HECKS YEAHHHHH! Your music taste is (chefs kiss)
romance is so good
Have you heard their "Conventional Weapons" tracks?
Not yet! but will be soon :)
This album is a very loose story about the lovers from Three Cheers
Couldnt have said it better myself😌
I hope you don’t feel overwhelmed with MCR requests, friend! In the meantime if you’d like to switch it up I’d totally back up the suggestions for PTV’s “Collide With The Sky” and FOB’s “Infinity On High”, but if you truly want to, there’s basically 0 reaction content for Frank’s stuff on RUclips and “Parachutes” is a brilliant album! You’ve not heard Frank sing yet 😁 You should absolutely take a break from mcr and do that in between other things tho if you want a break, I/others would love to see Frank stuff from you, but take your time, if needs be, man. And thank you for being open minded about Bullets :)) it’s hard for many to go back to the rawness here when their newer stuff is more polished, but that is it’s charm for sure ❤
Nah dude to me all of their albums are amazing. I could see why people don't like it as much, but I like to put myself in the mindset that this is how they started. This is where all of their art came from. This exact album started it all. So that's why I like to keep an open mind and I am so glad that you can appreciate that :) BTW I will for sure be checking more of frank's art and PTV because they have been HIGHLY requested. Anyways, thank you for all of your support dude! Much Love!
What you are saying about the tempo changes and mood shifts?
I'd say that's what makes this 'emotional hardcore' or 'emo'. Theres never a sense of 'oh, this is a fast song' or 'oh, this is a ballad'
The emotion of the narrative dictates the form.
It’s not my top but it’s not my bottom album. This albums is really underrated but still not as good as the other ones. Still Has great pieces of art as you said. Thank you for your support😁🫶
