Probably just hit the Halq, or if Konami does the usual Konami thing, they take out the Auroradon. Arclight is great, amazing even, but it isn't the problem, it's a symptom of the Halq-Auroradon gimmick. Halq has always been the next Knightmare Mermaid and Verte has always been a step below it. I think if these two cards go (Halq and Verte), the most splashable combos in the game either die or morph into more readily addressable combos. The next beast to slay after that is silly ultra-free adventure decks, though I'm pretty sure those are going to be milked for the next year or so and are here to stay. In the future, Arclight might have a chance to go on the list, but it's not completely broken on its own right now.
As fun as you try to make this list, it's really bad. Deckout is the wincon and it's really not hard to achieve, you should be playing atleast 12 more Mysterune spells. The Fabled build is the best I've seen so far.
I will say if you 100% commit to no battling whatsoever and increase your lock, stun, battle saving, damage reduction and mill/banish cards and completely cut anything else you win more than mixed decks. Mysterune specifically excels at what it’s designed to do. Blow through half their deck save your ass(half the time this works half it doesn’t) then blow through the other half. I mean heck I’ve blown through 30 cards in my build took some hefty damage survived on 100 lp and proceeded to blow through the rest of their deck turn 3 before and I’m not gonna say it’s consistent but god when it works like that it’s the funniest thing ever. Talk abo it salt I’m talking full board of what would make literally any monster focused deck whimper just getting decimated without a single damage to them. Set rotation with mystic mine and a few of the quick plays on field is a good addition for instance that can sometime buy you a couple of turns if they’re unlucky enough to not have multiple forms of spell/trap removal set up But I will say the funniest build I ever built was a full stun that used Mysterune to block out a lot of their plays and thin their options and then I would also have a bunch of other nasty quick plays and spells and ways to draw ect Frustrate them so much into focusing on popping the Mysterune stuff that they neglect a well tikes magical explosion and blast ruins(forgot the exact name) and I burned them instead of mill. Now that’s funny
The fabled build is definitely a lot better than this one. Its either that one or the halq build but that runs a lot of bricks. Also do you not realize the field spell isnt a hard 1 per turn? You drawing 2 means you can trigger it up to 3 time by adding it back with the lv4 fusion after activating 1 over the 1st. Field spell is literally what makes the deck work. But yeah you still right its kinda buns. But funny lol

No. But it’s ripe for potential (have had the most success with Endymion/Mythical Beast Mysterune). I’ll give you my deck lists for Mysterune if you’re interested!
The Adventure engine is the glue that holds the piles together. The entire reason people started playing the piles was to make sure you don't brick on multiple the Adventure garnets
Also a lot of them are just scythe decks, so banning scythe would do it As we saw here when they're not going for scythe it's just a sworsoul endboard with this variant, just a lot more bricky and fragile
The pile went from 51 cards to 43 cards off a single card, yet nearly 80% of the F&L list is not as powerful as that. I'd say 80% of the cards can come off the list to 3 without any problems.
I hope mbt starts religiously using alucard and angel in every deck as a secondary resource engine and for F01setups in decks that can place down 2 3's

Yeah the card is crazy but there are plenty of other advantage engines that don't conflict so hard with the win condition, and you're not even running 3 of it. The quick-play spells just aren't very good when they're not also acting as burn damage.

The decklist is.. what I expected
Oh no he said the ghost trick name everyone run before they come over and start another riot
I run a variant with vanity’s fiend and royal decree. Surprisingly did pretty well with it.
5:30 Can't wait for a Cimooooooooo Patreon called "MBT's Golden Droplets"
Talk abo it salt
I’m talking full board of what would make literally any monster focused deck whimper just getting decimated without a single damage to them. Set rotation with mystic mine and a few of the quick plays on field is a good addition for instance that can sometime buy you a couple of turns if they’re unlucky enough to not have multiple forms of spell/trap removal set up
But I will say the funniest build I ever built was a full stun that used Mysterune to block out a lot of their plays and thin their options and then I would also have a bunch of other nasty quick plays and spells and ways to draw ect
Frustrate them so much into focusing on popping the Mysterune stuff that they neglect a well tikes magical explosion and blast ruins(forgot the exact name) and I burned them instead of mill.
Now that’s funny
And then it won master duel worlds
I really love your ten minute testings, it's definitely some of the best content you put out.
Can you explain to me why nobodies running a inferno tempest strat considering the concept is to kill your opponent out
@@gabrielhill995 inferno tempest need battle phase.
So basically u have to have a Mon and opp 3k monster and crash into it while having the tempest. And hope opp doesn't negate ur tempest our right. And also ur necro face won't be stuff in ur hand hofeully.
Short answer it's not consistent and if u ever face another rune deck and they mill ur necro face u die faster and also.
@@yugiwinninglex correct me if I’m wrong but aren’t most of the main boss monsters running in the meta caring over 3k bodies. And don’t most of the mystrunes cards deal with your opponents field primarily? I just don’t see how it would be ineffective to do for a stall/mill strategy
im still convinced this just isnt the build and that it can work
Mysterune and Witchcrafter is the best combo for this archetype 😎
That Myst clip hit me like a sleeper agent activation phrase
What a perfect way to procrastinate studying for my Spanish test tomorrow😂😬
That intro is so accurate 😂 "reeaalllyyy? Miilll?" Excited to see though
yeah that deck yacine made is just............I don't even know what is going on in that list.
Ok so, you know the drawing effect from the field spell is not hard once per turn right… (so why 2 of and no terraforming aaaaaaa)
Why would "the next zoodiac" ever be a good thing? I'm old enough to remember that format. I still have nightmares.
Why must MBT come twice in a row playing good cards with ghostricks???? This is very upsetting.
Nice ghostrick deck I really like it!
Hear me out: Mysterune Stun.
I think the Striker ED Zone can be resolved with the new Linkage spell. You can also add Surprise Chain for extra digging to Engage and extra mill. Still lose to other HT but now you don't have to worry about Nibiru.
The best ghostrick mill i've ever seen
I remember I was playing against a guy online who kept repeatedly using the field spell effect
I kept telling him to stop, because it was once per turn, and his response was "nah, I'm just doing this for fun"
And this wasn't DB, so of course, there weren't any judges to tell him to stop doing it either
At long last, an optimized ghostrick list
i see the possibility of using inferno tempest...
Honestly the best ghostrick deck that is still a mill strategy
You really shoved that Ghostricks just to piss them off, aren't you????XD.....
Waiting for the Mystirune Armed Dragon Catapult Cannon Deck x)
But yeah, I'm running it with Sky Striker and that works quite well. Dunno whether it's better than Sky Striker only tho
Would adventure mystrune work?
Rider early at least stops all the nibirus you're eating and dracoback is pretty good when you don't have a battlephase
Mysterune I’ve been testing quite a bit and honestly I got to disagree on “okay”. I found it to be surprisingly potent. It’s incredibly splash capable & it can fuck your opponent (and recycle fast) but you got to really got to adjust your entire gameplay style. Is it game breaking like Brave Token? No. But it’s ripe for potential (have had the most success with Endymion/Mythical Beast Mysterune). I’ll give you my deck lists for Mysterune if you’re interested!
Hey I interested. And maybe then I can learn how to play the pendulum part correctly.
That ghostrick joke caught me so off guard and I love it
Im sure he only used the ghostrick cards to trigger the ghostrickt community even more
Can't believe you are still ABUSING my beloved Ghostrick monsters. I am shitting and crying right now.
honestly, I feel like if they didn’t skip your battle phase they would be tier 1 potential.
What I wanna know is, how would you even fix these pile decks with a banlist? They don’t even run the same set of cards
The Adventure engine is the glue that holds the piles together. The entire reason people started playing the piles was to make sure you don't brick on multiple the Adventure garnets
Also a lot of them are just scythe decks, so banning scythe would do it
As we saw here when they're not going for scythe it's just a sworsoul endboard with this variant, just a lot more bricky and fragile
Where my fellow Mysterune chads at?
The pile went from 51 cards to 43 cards off a single card, yet nearly 80% of the F&L list is not as powerful as that. I'd say 80% of the cards can come off the list to 3 without any problems.
Jesus christ Herald + illusion is so crazy.
You know, from now on my personal headcanon is that Joseph goes to sleep in that jacket.
A shame that it loses to everything in the format. I'm a fan of the archetype design but it really is outclassed by everything else.
It isn't rly that outclass I think.
@@yugiwinninglex the deck is cheeks bro, cope
I hope mbt starts religiously using alucard and angel in every deck as a secondary resource engine and for F01setups in decks that can place down 2 3's
That moment when you realize N.O.H. Punk Seamin is supposed to be read "Shaman" similarly to the way you read Sean.
Should you still not attempt Droll Reincarnation?
Next time please get gavin to make the deck. at least he wouldn't make a deck whose sole purpose is UFD pass, and add in zeus into an archtype which skips your battle phase.
Keep up the funny skits. Love them
This isn't like the ghostrick video, I genuinely don't see the merit of adding mysterune cards to a deck that plans to win during the battle phase. Is it the fieldspell? Yeah the card is crazy but there are plenty of other advantage engines that don't conflict so hard with the win condition, and you're not even running 3 of it. The quick-play spells just aren't very good when they're not also acting as burn damage.
ive been messing around with nurse burn the last few days and its really funny when this deck leaves their lvl 3 fusion out because it just burns them every turn.
It shldnt leave anything out in emz. It shld be free so u can quick play Huggins to protect ur from harpie and lighting storm or other effect that ruins ur day.
@@yugiwinninglex well that hasn't happened yet. You tell them how to play out the match up.
@@rafaelfernandez6626 that multiple ways to kget rid of emz. Monster, rank, synchro. Though u need to play tuner/lvl 3 in ur main which u definitely have space to. Synchro is obviously easier since its more flexible.
Great ghostrick deck!
what would you think of a swordsoul combo? I tried it that way and it was pretty funny XD
"Mystrune" damn, we are onto eating up letters instead of just pronouncing wrong
YOOO NEW GHOSTRICK DECKLIST DROPPED
Well this didn't age well
They could've at least made it so the banish mill was facedown.
Very few decks gains advantage from having their stuff banished, and the ones that do are only 1-offs in pile decks.
We out here huggin n muggin
I like the creative deckbuilding here, but I don't see the benefit for UDF here over other extra deck bosses here. It's such a high investment for a monster negate. I feel like there's better things you could overlay or link into that do more with less summons.
No, UDF is the easiest and most consistent monster negate the deck can produce
@@coletonmarino1310 I hope ur joking.
Baron de fleur is the easiest 5 summons no halq.
