Nick, I'll be 100% honest with you. Initially, I didn't like you man, I honestly don't know why but I was a hater... real talk. But I've come to change my mind about you man, you seem like a cool kid and humble and just sharing your knowledge with everyone on youtube. If people don't like it then they don't have to watch and move the fuck along. I've come to respect you now dude, you truly do seem to care for your followers and subscribers.
Nick weight im not trying to be an ass this is just something i notice. I feel like your physique would be alot better if your shoulders were more full, especially your lateral delts. Just some consecrative criticism.
Carbs respond differently in each person. A good example, is white rice vs brown rice, and sweet potato/yam vs white potato. Every one is different. White potatoe has a higher glycemic index( helps Increase blood sugar faster), which I like better for preworkout meals. Find what works best for you!
to clean a George Foreman grill easy way. Heat it up on high, then get wet paper towels and the stuff comes right off. Heat kills germs. Want a extra clean, then scrub it with water and soap and then you're done.
I let the chicken cool right down on a plate sitting on my bench, until it's cold. Then I put it on another plate/container and put it into the fridge. I have no issues with pooling now.
hey nick, what a fun story! First of all I have to tell you that after my initial post I started a whatsapp-chat with some friends to discuss this 'problem'. We realised that I was wrong! We figured out that a microwave only generates a limited amount of energy, f.e. 800W for 6minutes. So if you add more mass which has to be heaten up, more energy is taken away and transormed to warmth, so less energy is left and so it takes longer to heat two instead of one.---->
I normally train AM fasted. Just because I like to get my lift in early in the morning before classes. Sometimes a lift falls on a day where uni gym won't open until noon. On those days I eat breakfast and train at noon. I normally need 3 hours+ after eating before I train. I think the logic behind the wet paper towel is to keep the potato moist, always wrap mine so I've no idea if it is actually drier when you don't wrap em.
Funny thing though: I know potatoes are supposed to be good for you pre-workout. However, I can eat shitloads of potatoes and feel weak and without energy when I workout (of course Im not having them right before the exercise but for lunch and work-out in the evening). If I wanna have energy I need rice! The only stuff that works for me apart from oat and self-made oat bars. We truly are all different!
Lol not at all! Everyone commenting about this, TRY IT! It doesn't work like that at all! 12 minutes just barely cooked them both to perfection. Any less and they wouldn't have been done..
----> i think the only difference to an oven is, that the energy which is taken away by the food is (quickly) replaced in an oven and thats why the time doesnt have to be doubled in an oven... so now I hope you understood what I wanted to say cause english obviously isn't my maine language. keep up the good work, spread the truth (even if it's how to cook potatoes!!!! ;), and sorry if I annoyed you with my initial post, realy didnt think it will become such a big debate! Peace and Potato!!!!
Hey nick, any tips or tricks to get pressing movements up? If I remember correctly you said that was your weakpoint before. I can deadlift and row like a boss but my benchpress and shoulderpress is weak as hell.
I understand your point completely. I believe that there are instances where you DO NOT let people "roam innocently." However, in this case that origin of the argument was pretty meaningless (imo). Any true fan of either party will stick to their roots (so to speak) because no harm was really done to either party's reputation (again, imo). Nevertheless, it's an unfortunate waste of everyone's time- ours included. Have a good one brah.
Put my taters in a special bag made out of cloth. U wash the tater. .wrap it in paper towel and stick it in the bag...cooks in 4-6 min. But it's steamed...
no man thats wrong...u should eat carbs before workout because that is the energy that moves u in the gym, plus if you dont eat carbs before hitting the gym u wont get that pump(in my case at least :P) hope this helps
Hey man, I'm 15 years old, 132 lbs, 5'8. I've been working out a seen muscle gain but I want to gain more. I eat about 1,850 calories a day. What should I do to Gain More Mass for Football?
My can't believe it's not butter container says it has like 90% the calories of butter. Maybe there's different kinds. Maybe I'm not remembering right.
Nick I love your vids man and I've been following you for about 3 years and since I started working out but that guy holding your camera should've just been filming....ya diiiig
hey nick is there any way i can private message you, i have different needs than body building but still need to gain muscle and what not, i'm a MMA, boxer i just need nutrition advice please
@Pat McRotch Chris did over react this time. He did have his comment called dumb, but it didn't warrent a threat. He might be under some stress or just irtitated by suddenly coming off a dream bulk
No, not when you cook it, only when you burn it, thats why the charred portions of meat are carcinogenic, if you cook meat properly/scrape of the charred portions of the meat you don't have to deal with that. Plus what does that have to do with the protein content in meat again ?
If a guy as big as him tell you you don't have to take a post workout shake 30-45 min after your workout. you probably don't! I use post workout protein shake just to help me reach the number of protein I need a day though
All u guys hating this guy looks descent for not being onsteroids. When u see all those guys that weigh 180 about his weight, all shredded looking 3D with veins popping out and claim their steroid free do not believe these clowns.
i wish i could do this, i dont have the money therefore i need to get a job, but body building is something ive looked up too since i was little. and something i find hard is the eatting part, anyway nice video, @owmyears55 i dont think he did :L

eating before workouts kill your human growth hormone production, interesting thing for you to look into.
nice plates man i have the same ones haha
What are you trying to ask? Yes, that was really Chris Jones.
Anyone that thinks 2 potatoes takes the same time to cook as just one has seriously never used a microwave before.
@Pat McRotch Chris did over react this time. He did have his comment called dumb, but it didn't warrent a threat. He might be under some stress or just irtitated by suddenly coming off a dream bulk

Plus what does that have to do with the protein content in meat again ?
Look up the facebook page "no bullshit bodybuilding" and you can see what he posted

The Game - Ali Bomaye (Explicit) ft. 2 Chainz, Rick Ross
If a guy as big as him tell you you don't have to take a post workout shake 30-45 min after your workout. you probably don't! I use post workout protein shake just to help me reach the number of protein I need a day though
how much money do you spend on food ?
All u guys hating this guy looks descent for not being onsteroids. When u see all those guys that weigh 180 about his weight, all shredded looking 3D with veins popping out and claim their steroid free do not believe these clowns.
no veggies ? helps pull all them carbs into the muscle bellys
i wish i could do this, i dont have the money therefore i need to get a job, but body building is something ive looked up too since i was little. and something i find hard is the eatting part, anyway nice video, @owmyears55 i dont think he did :L
First!
NWB STRONG.
see the picture on the NBB facebook page
Dying Microwave ahahah
1 potato gets all of the radiation from the microwaves. Put 2 in there, then there is less radiation for each potato so you need more time to cook.
Nick, why are you such a beast? Lol
can some tell me whats going on whit the criss and nick ?
nice
starch is good carbs potatoes give good energy just have it plain
Butter on your hands when you deadlift? I use creatine. srs
