hello, im having an issue when i use the spline path. i made a circle spline and want it to loop, but when it gets to position 100 it glitches and flips on the last frame before starting back over.
hey just wanna ask how do u get ur front wheels to be working? im unsure as to why i have to put my Left bind on the right and vice versa for it to work
Followed the tutorial as shown, rig works well. However, I have a wheel speed issue. The rear wheels spin x2 faster than the front wheels. When I move the rig using the purple main controller, wheels move correct. On a spline, they misalign. Care to check for some feedback?
1. The viewport doesn't render the wheels accurately, they usually look fine in render. 2. Go to car main > controls in your object viewer and check the settings there.
@@LeonBaisden Wheels function only when surface collide with mesh. If spline-wrapped, they do not. I worked my way around it by putting a final divide maths node inside the wheel rotate XPresso.

@@THEIANDO I used x-particles volumes. They have a smoke preset, I just added wind and attached the sim to the tires. Not really the proper way to do it, but it works.
Hey Leon, epic vid. Do you think a M1 Max studio with 32GB of ram is enough to do short B roll car animations. Something like a tunnel or forrest. The render times aren't too important, happy to run scenes overnight. ive been using keyshot but would be keen to switch into C4d or unity
@@LeonBaisden yeah it does! only issue i had was with the spline, obviously you'll have to export the c4d landscape and build around that in UE5 for the car to 'drive' on it.
you could have at least said what point to be where. but just moving the points around without an explanation. IS NOT HELPING. or just a labeled diagram of the points in relation to the car parts
damn it! this is impressive! in Maya it take way way more time to setup everything! Amazing to see how it goes in C4D!

You have to keyframe the steering wheel turn at the corners,

Hello, when i use the a spline path to direct the car, the car tends to slow down every time it reachs a point on my spline path. Any way to fix that?
Change easing on your spline to linear.
