Your tutorial is great and super useful, but I can't bind the brake discs on according to your method, it always rotates strangely, and I would like to ask you what you did to fix it?
I put chapters now on the video so you can find it easier. If you go from 11:54-14:27. I walk you through the setup and canceling out the rotation of the wheels. the main key to canceling the wheels out is in the constant node inside the pointVop. On the constant node switch to 3 float vectors and you just place a 1 for it to keep moving and 0 to stop moving. Let me know if your able to figure it out.
@@lega_xyz unfortunately,my problem is still exist. Could i give you my hip file? I would like you to help me check that what the problem is.I wonder if it would be convenient for you to give me an email address.Thank you very much.
That's awesome, I am glad you found it useful. Yes, I can share the file without the car. It will take me some time to do this. In the meantime, if you have any questions or get stuck feel free to put it in the comments and I can try to answer your questions.
@@lega_xyz Great thanks bro. When I will be ready, I think I will try to create a car animation in Houdini. I will link your channel, I hope you gain some subs from that. Thanks again for your work.
@@JeanYanb I have put up a link button to where I will be dropping files from now on. if you go to my page you will see a download icon on the top right. Click on that it will take you to the link to the houdini files. lega.tv
This is the one I used. www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/car/luxury-car/bugatti-centodieci-2020-studio-c25e80d7-5902-40d0-9ff6-cf7628c5c26c But you can look at websites like turbosquid.com, Sketchfab.com and if you install blender marketplace has some of the same ones at a better value, but may require you to install blender and then convert the files over to fbx etc..
subscribed.. keep sharing!
Thanks, For tuning in!

Hi, a question. Do you have the link to the page where these cars can be obtained to practice in Houdini 20.5?
This is the one I used.

Would you share the scene file?
I don't have the scene file prepped to share.
the whole thing with the calipers is really ugly, I am surprised Houdini does not export a calliper point per wheel we can use.
@@jordi-rohtau i thought the same. Thats a work around i found at the moment. Hopefully sidefx will add that option to their rbd car rig.
