In UK, not to put a photo on your CV is the best practice, so the employer will not discriminate you based on your appearance. That’s what I have been told from my university.
Of course! I was would save any design work you have done for the jobs you worked on ( super important!) and present your best ones! I used InDesign but you can also create it using PowerPoint.

Hey! I got all that experience after college. I luckily landed a full time job after graduating and have changed jobs since. When I first applied to jobs (without having any experience) I listed internships, volunteer work, & my college job I had (server) on my resume. For the portfolio, when I didn’t have work experience I showed the projects I did in college. Hopefully that helped!
