The appreciation of the Joker in this series was the fact that it wasn't based on impersonating a pre-defined Joker. I have seen many trying to recreate Mark Hamills Laugh or pull of the sinister-like guttural language of Ledgers Joker. It will only get better, especially after having audiences offer their opinions and showing their appreciation and love for it! ^___^
I'd have to disagree with you. I've watched all three of these and was greatly disappointed by the lack of creativity in creating a unique, and definitive voice/laugh for the joker. I showed this to many people who do not know Anthony(which is important because harleys joker fans, from the looks of it, have been totally uncritical about his acting) and they were confused as to why he did not morph into the character. It just looked like a guy dressed as the joker and that's as far as it goes. And it bugged me that he called out Alyssa for not being in the film because "she's not an actor", well from the looks of it neither was he or many others in the film. You'd be surprised what freshmen actors can bring into a performance as long as they have the determination and right mindset. I will however give credit to where credit is due and tip my hat to the actor who portrayed commissioner loeb. He, in my opinion was the most convincing performance of the films. Bat in the Sun was alright as well, but the voice did seem, 'pushed'. With Anthonys Joker, the style he expressed was something I enjoyed. I really dug the 'Grayson' trailer Joker (from most of his scenes). However accepting that, the thing with Anthony's Joker appears to be one that has potential to grow. I believe Michael Emerson had said while being interviewed for his role as joker in TDReturns, that he used his natural voice as a base and then just made it cruel and unlikeable sounding. Just a simple change in his voice created a unique sounding joker, maybe not as preferable as Hamills but unique and credible nonetheless. :)
Oh definitely the best. Usually fan-films (which I've been watching a lot of lately) are only one part under 20 minutes and ending on a cliffhanger or something like that. This was a bit of fresh air and I appreciated the work put in.
Wow. Anthony's Joker is quite different..and really felt it come alive in this last part (and half way through part 2). It's difficult for us not to compare any new Joker to Mark Hamil's or Ledgers...or the comics (e.g., hiding his negative emotions, high pitch sing song voice)...and so yes Anthony's joker is quite different. But I am glad for that. Imitation is easy, creation a new dimension for arguably the most complex comic villain is another level of difficulty and creativity.
Hats off to the Joker and the writers in this one! I like the humanity of the Joker as a deranged, somewhat narcissistic comedian who seems distantly calculative (the detective work and the setting Gordon and Dent to tear down) Plus that smile and overall appearance is the living embodiment of the Joker

If you're talking about the "best fan movie you've ever seen" then, you must consider Bat in the Sun past work. Patient J and City of Scars are clearly better than this. Batman/Bruce does'nt talk so much and that's preferable. And Paul Molnar was also great doing the Joker. Saying "Chronicles is better than BITS" because of the shorts they're doing right now is not doing justice to what they've accomplished.

In my head, this and City Of Scars take place in the same canon. Both opposite ends of the spectrum. The birth of the Joker vs the death of the Joker. Anyway, wonderfully done!!!
Joker is one of my favourite characters from the beginning to the recent batman films. Anthony has paid the joker in this fan short film really well. He pays the joker very well and unquie from all the other jokers. Good job Anthony!!!!! Love to see more of your version of joker.

This was a great series. Acting wise and settings. Batman and the Joker's casting was spot on in my opinion. I heard a resemblance to Jeff Goldblum in Joker's voice.

In fact, it's so good, it's easy to forget it's fan made, (I think maybe that's why there are a few people feeling the need to nit pick actually lol). Bravo to all of you!!! Very interesting variation of Mr J! The actor's performance in this fanmade video is on the high level! Generally the video is good. What disappointed me a bit - is fight choreography, it's too simple, there is a lack of spectacular tricks and of inventiveness. I liked the scene with Joker`s tear gas sprayed using the toy car- it`s so cute! The Catwoman in latex costume is delightful!
You're right Batman Chronicles takes Batman back to the gritty basics. I just want to say again, I've seen other Batman fan made shorts, but this one, has something special. It works on so many levels. They picked the right people for the parts, and they just did a really good job with it. It'd be awesome to see more of this show. Its really cool how they are kinda doing a early years almost around Batman year one time, where Gordon is still a Lt, or Captain, Bruce is still learning his way around, the cops still want to hunt him, and Gordon is only ally outside of Alfred, as of now.
I'm a new fan to the fan Batman videos.. this Batman almost reminded me of Ben Affleck only a little fatter.. the outfit was okay.. wish It had more muscles on it.. The joker was crazy..I'm always looking at Batman though, that's why I want to see who this was.. pretty good.. the fighting was fast, wasn't slow and boring like some other films, so you got that down.. make some more I want to see some more of this Batman stuff really cool.
I love this fan film, but if I could change one thing I would make it so that after the joker loses to Batman he starts to obsess over him, still keeping his ideals of fame but seeing Batman like another performer.
I just finished watching the entire series, and I must praise this work. It is absolutely brilliant. Everything about it its just utterly delicious, the writting, the acting, the editing, the producing, the directing, every factor of this series is incredible. The resemblance of the actors is marvelous and the way they all get soo deeply into character is simply mesmerizing. I can only applaud such a refinate piece of art. Wonderful, wonderful piece. I watched through this whole thing and it was AMAZING!! But, what I really wish for, is a soundtrack release ahaha. LOVE that possible Joker Theme in part 2 and I'd love to see some kind of soundtrack for this because it was just amazing. WONDERFUL job, even if this comment IS late to the party.

The Batman Chronicles is an outstanding fan film series. Based on "Batman Franchise" from "DC Comics". Excellently directed by Joseph Petruccio and excellently written by Mike Lupia. Daniel Petruccio excellently played the role of Batman with Anthony Misanio and Gregory Adair. I'm a beloved fan of Batman, I love this fan film series.

There's too much to talk about but everything about this was just amazing in my opinion except for the Catwoman scene and that there could have probably been better fighting. Other than that though this was really enjoyable especially the performances though. Batman, Alfred, Gordon and oh my god that Joker was so good. Fantastic work I swear. Please make more parts but with Harvey Dent as the villain because I love that tease at the end.
Excellent film, one of the best batman fan films I've seen. I realize that Bruce is just starting as batman but the batsuit could use a little work. And this Joker might look the part, but he's not crazy enough. It feels like Riddler cosplaying the Joker.

Anthony's Joker I think is the closest we'll get to Geoff Goldblum taking on the role. The way he says "Oh shit." Just gave me massive Jurassic Park flashbacks.
I'm really happy that I saw this series through until the end. The first two episodes left me a little unsure, but I liked this episode. It had a better feeling to it, and it definitely ended this trilogy on a better note. Very nicely done. Congrats to all involved
Brilliant and that doesn't cover how much this deserves I randomly found it and its one of the best characterisations of both batman and the joker I've ever seen. I will highly recommend this to people.
That was the best live action batman film I have seen. Great work guys the story characters the sets all spot on I hope to see more from you guys and again great work.
I enjoyed this series. Had three problems with it though... 1) Joker needed to be a little crazier 2) Batman should have easily seen the crowbar strike coming and caught it 3) If anyone gets hit with a crowbar like that, his jaw is broken. One other little bit picky thing, Batman wouldn't have said thank you to Celina or anyone else for that matter. Overall, very enjoyable!
Really well done! Solid casting. I love how your 'Joker' made it his own. As much as I'm a fan of Heath's interpretation, I really enjoyed this one, too. And your Bruce/Batman was fantastic. The one that tops them all, however short his scene was, is your Alfred. Finally someone gave us the one from the comics. It was like he stepped right off the page. The script was tight. It was a great story. Direction and cinematography was stellar. All in all... If you were to continue this, it would get a big following
The music box sound through all three parts is a really nice touch. Gives you that unique and kinda scary sensation this whole story has and I absolutely loved every last bit of it!!
Great Series , Im bummed it took me this long to see it . Anthony Misiano's portration of the Joker was Awesome! The facial expressions were right on ! Loved it! The Joker's quips were brilliantly insightful of a chaotic, playful, and yet logical mind. The mirror quote in particular presented the Joker as one who sees reality but reality has no hold on him, whereas Batman lives in a delusion in which he separates himself completely from the criminals he fights against. Also, I liked the 'dirt' Joker collected on Commissioner Loeb, since it prevents the Joker being written off as entirely insane (so his decisions aren't his own, merely random), we see there is method in the madness.
I love this! I saw a lot of comments saying Anthony wasn't "crazy" enough but considering this is the beginning of Jokers "reign" I think it made perfect sense for him to be a little less insane. Good job guys.

Batman's voice here is really good. I think that's a really difficult thing to capture for a lot of actors.

Joker is one of my favourite characters from the beginning to the recent batman films. Anthony has paid the joker in this fan short film really well. He pays the joker very well and unquie from all the other jokers. Good job Anthony!!!!! Love to see more of your version of joker.

Very interesting variation of Mr J! The actor's performance in this fanmade video is on the high level! Generally the video is good. What disappointed me a bit - is fight choreography, it's too simple, there is a lack of spectacular tricks and of inventiveness.
I liked the scene with Joker`s tear gas sprayed using the toy car- it`s so cute! The Catwoman in latex costume is delightful!

You're right Batman Chronicles takes Batman back to the gritty basics. I just want to say again, I've seen other Batman fan made shorts, but this one, has something special. It works on so many levels. They picked the right people for the parts, and they just did a really good job with it. It'd be awesome to see more of this show. Its really cool how they are kinda doing a early years almost around Batman year one time, where Gordon is still a Lt, or Captain, Bruce is still learning his way around, the cops still want to hunt him, and Gordon is only ally outside of Alfred, as of now.
I hope in the future one day, you guys will decide to make a Batman Chronicles 2 continuation if possible

I'm a new fan to the fan Batman videos.. this Batman almost reminded me of Ben Affleck only a little fatter.. the outfit was okay.. wish It had more muscles on it.. The joker was crazy..I'm always looking at Batman though, that's why I want to see who this was.. pretty good.. the fighting was fast, wasn't slow and boring like some other films, so you got that down.. make some more I want to see some more of this Batman stuff really cool.
I love this fan film, but if I could change one thing I would make it so that after the joker loses to Batman he starts to obsess over him, still keeping his ideals of fame but seeing Batman like another performer.
I just finished watching the entire series, and I must praise this work. It is absolutely brilliant. Everything about it its just utterly delicious, the writting, the acting, the editing, the producing, the directing, every factor of this series is incredible. The resemblance of the actors is marvelous and the way they all get soo deeply into character is simply mesmerizing. I can only applaud such a refinate piece of art. Wonderful, wonderful piece.

I watched through this whole thing and it was AMAZING!! But, what I really wish for, is a soundtrack release ahaha. LOVE that possible Joker Theme in part 2 and I'd love to see some kind of soundtrack for this because it was just amazing. WONDERFUL job, even if this comment IS late to the party.

Daniel Petruccio excellently played the role of Batman with Anthony Misanio and Gregory Adair.
I'm a beloved fan of Batman, I love this fan film series.
But seriously Batman expects a middle aged Gordon to not use a gun against like 20 trained killers makes sense...

There's too much to talk about but everything about this was just amazing in my opinion except for the Catwoman scene and that there could have probably been better fighting. Other than that though this was really enjoyable especially the performances though. Batman, Alfred, Gordon and oh my god that Joker was so good. Fantastic work I swear. Please make more parts but with Harvey Dent as the villain because I love that tease at the end.
Excellent film, one of the best batman fan films I've seen. I realize that Bruce is just starting as batman but the batsuit could use a little work. And this Joker might look the part, but he's not crazy enough. It feels like Riddler cosplaying the Joker.

Anthony's Joker I think is the closest we'll get to Geoff Goldblum taking on the role. The way he says "Oh shit." Just gave me massive Jurassic Park flashbacks.

I'm really happy that I saw this series through until the end. The first two episodes left me a little unsure, but I liked this episode. It had a better feeling to it, and it definitely ended this trilogy on a better note. Very nicely done. Congrats to all involved

Brilliant and that doesn't cover how much this deserves I randomly found it and its one of the best characterisations of both batman and the joker I've ever seen. I will highly recommend this to people.

That was the best live action batman film I have seen. Great work guys the story characters the sets all spot on I hope to see more from you guys and again great work.
I enjoyed this series. Had three problems with it though... 1) Joker needed to be a little crazier 2) Batman should have easily seen the crowbar strike coming and caught it 3) If anyone gets hit with a crowbar like that, his jaw is broken. One other little bit picky thing, Batman wouldn't have said thank you to Celina or anyone else for that matter. Overall, very enjoyable!

I love how your 'Joker' made it his own. As much as I'm a fan of Heath's interpretation, I really enjoyed this one, too. And your Bruce/Batman was fantastic.
The one that tops them all, however short his scene was, is your Alfred. Finally someone gave us the one from the comics. It was like he stepped right off the page.
The script was tight. It was a great story.
Direction and cinematography was stellar.
All in all... If you were to continue this, it would get a big following
The music box sound through all three parts is a really nice touch. Gives you that unique and kinda scary sensation this whole story has and I absolutely loved every last bit of it!!

Great Series , Im bummed it took me this long to see it . Anthony Misiano's portration of the Joker was Awesome! The facial expressions were right on ! The jokers response to batman when he says its over really delivers the set of mind games that the joker can play and a great sight of how insane he is . Great great stuff ,i hope to see more !!

The story behind this is great, I personally favorized Mr. Kabakoff´s and Mr. Fitzgerald´s performance.
Very funny also, especially the "Rocky & Bullwinkle" scene in part 2.

Awesome series, love the different takes on all the characters, very interesting concepts LOVED!!! Joker he was best of all of them!
Loved it! The Joker's quips were brilliantly insightful of a chaotic, playful, and yet logical mind. The mirror quote in particular presented the Joker as one who sees reality but reality has no hold on him, whereas Batman lives in a delusion in which he separates himself completely from the criminals he fights against. Also, I liked the 'dirt' Joker collected on Commissioner Loeb, since it prevents the Joker being written off as entirely insane (so his decisions aren't his own, merely random), we see there is method in the madness.
I want to see more. The Joker was superb as always... congrats...
