i unironically teared up at this lol batman is my childhood hero, and i think his most interesting moments are the ones where he’s not just a “strong guy beating up crazy people” like some cop (i’ll die on the hill that batman is the only good billionaire lol), his best stories are the ones where he’s mentally/morally challenged, most of the times by the joker, and i just absolutely LOVE the way they play off of each other in the arkham series. i genuinely think it’s the best example of their love-hate relationship, and the way you describe it is just AMAZING. the part about joker losing everything and finding his will to live after batman saves him (that cop even says that no one cares about him, but batman does, which makes him his partner). thank you for this!!!!!! i adore you ps: also joker saying that batman is always there to “put a smile on his face” while jumping around is just so... wholesome... at the end of the day joker is just a tortured soul that found solace in a guy as crazy as he is (we live in a society)

Batman is the best superhero, because he's the most relatable one - he's just a human, human with many mental issues, and these mental issues are either demonstrated by his enemies, or literally metaphorically represented by them. It's a very unique type of the superhero genre. We live in bottom text. You described that very well ;-; To Joker, there's only Batman and no one else. My favorite version of batjokes is Telltale's, Jokers dynamic with him is unique, being friends until a betrayal, and snapping, bla bla bla. I love how fruity it is, and how it has more of a hopeful ending. This version is full of tragedy, Joker outright loving Batman with jack all in return, (kind of wanting death), and getting that death in the end. It just makes me sad, but I'm glad you find joy in it!
I find joy in it :DDD Telltale is basically the same thing but mainstream... as in, uh, "normal"? They interact like two normal people would, not a supervillain and a superhero :D I'd even argue their relationship in Telltale is more - and excuse me for using this word - toxic than in the Arkham series. At least in Arkham Joker isn't trying to gaslight Batman into being his friend. Both versions are enjoyable imo :D

Why do you think Fifty shades of grey is so popular 😂 This ship is so interesting because it's so thought-provoking. It gives the Batman lore a whole new layer. It's the most fun when their relationship is supposed to be taken metaphorically - like in the Dark Knight for an example - there's already such a heavy philosophy dumped on you, and by adding an element of love into it, it gives you a whole new perspective and train of thoughts and interpretations about the whole story and message of the movie. If you're still new to this ship, you probably don't understand what I mean by this yet 😂 What also draws people in is the act of rebellion. Batman ending up with Joker in an actively romantic relationship kinda goes against everything the character stands for, and that's ok. Just like it's so cool to see Batman being on the verge of breaking his no killing rule, it's so cool to see him being on the verge of ruining his moral ideals and giving himself up to Joker. Batman is a character that's the most entertaining to watch when he's pushed to his limits. And the same goes for Joker. Joker is a character that's riddled with cynicism and nihilism, and having someone who actively loves him messes with his head so beautifully, it makes him confused about his life standpoints, which is nice, because Joker's life standpoints are never morally correct. I hope this all makes some sense, I'm a bit drunk as I'm writing this 😂😂 At the end of it, you don't have to feel bad, it's all just fiction. The ship is a bit edgy, but hey, that's what makes it spicy. If you're not comfortable with shipping or supporting it, that's ok, nobody would blame you 😂

But also 12:56 I will note that Schizophrenia doesn't cause multiple personalities, even at it's most severe/source: caretaker to a diagnosed severly schizophrenic parent and have been to their psyc appointments from almost birth to early 20s. Dissociative Identity Disorder is the medical condition that causes multiple personalities. So with that in mind I i can definitely see Joker having both conditions tbh depending on the iteration. Also, the fact that people (in the fandom in general) would rather find new mental illnesses to diagnose Joker with instead of excepting that even IF he had a wife prior/also showed interest in Harley prior to the events shown in these games/shows/cinema that that doesn't mean he can't be into men/Batman to is insane lol. My favorite version of batjokes is Telltale's, Jokers dynamic with him is unique, being friends until a betrayal, and snapping, bla bla bla. I love how fruity it is, and how it has more of a hopeful ending. This version is full of tragedy, Joker outright loving Batman with jack all in return, (kind of wanting death), and getting that death in the end. It just makes me sad, but I'm glad you find joy in it!
I find joy in it :DDD Telltale is basically the same thing but mainstream... as in, uh, "normal"? They interact like two normal people would, not a supervillain and a superhero :D I'd even argue their relationship in Telltale is more - and excuse me for using this word - toxic than in the Arkham series. At least in Arkham Joker isn't trying to gaslight Batman into being his friend. Both versions are enjoyable imo :D

Why do you think Fifty shades of grey is so popular 😂 This ship is so interesting because it's so thought-provoking. It gives the Batman lore a whole new layer. It's the most fun when their relationship is supposed to be taken metaphorically - like in the Dark Knight for an example - there's already such a heavy philosophy dumped on you, and by adding an element of love into it, it gives you a whole new perspective and train of thoughts and interpretations about the whole story and message of the movie. If you're still new to this ship, you probably don't understand what I mean by this yet 😂 What also draws people in is the act of rebellion. Batman ending up with Joker in an actively romantic relationship kinda goes against everything the character stands for, and that's ok. Just like it's so cool to see Batman being on the verge of breaking his no killing rule, it's so cool to see him being on the verge of ruining his moral ideals and giving himself up to Joker. Batman is a character that's the most entertaining to watch when he's pushed to his limits. And the same goes for Joker. Joker is a character that's riddled with cynicism and nihilism, and having someone who actively loves him messes with his head so beautifully, it makes him confused about his life standpoints, which is nice, because Joker's life standpoints are never morally correct. I hope this all makes some sense, I'm a bit drunk as I'm writing this 😂😂 At the end of it, you don't have to feel bad, it's all just fiction. The ship is a bit edgy, but hey, that's what makes it spicy. If you're not comfortable with shipping or supporting it, that's ok, nobody would blame you 😂

But also 12:56 I will note that Schizophrenia doesn't cause multiple personalities, even at it's most severe/source: caretaker to a diagnosed severly schizophrenic parent and have been to their psyc appointments from almost birth to early 20s. @@zalybrainlessgenius503 i think that joker's most genuine laugh is when he is shooting people in the tunnel of love and saying things like "my bad" or "excuse me." And later in the scene when he breaks his own neck.
That scene gave me a very genuine laughter too :D
Joker cried in The Batman series, that was very weird also

The "I need you" scene is so well done. I purposely didn't put any text over it so you can focus on it alone, but there's so much to say about it. Like, you can see fear in Joker's eyes, it's unbelievable

And I absolutely agree.But why is it, that everytime Jay shows strong emotions, he ends up getting killed by Bats?Like in Batman:The Dark Knight returns (animated), or the Killing Joke.It hurts, man.It really does ;-;
