Kay, my 2 year old loves you to death! He's memorized your ending script, and he says it along with you and tries to help you along when you get stuck. At the end he waves at the tv and says "bye" with you. It is absolutely the cutest thing ever. Thank you for being such a bright moment in our day, we appreciate you and all you do! Love ya Kay!

The Vicar and her husband are coming round for supper tmr. I hadn’t a clue what to make…once again Kay, you come through at the perfect time. They’ll love this!
I love watching Kay experiment in the kitchen, I always preboil my potatoes for like 8 minutes then completely cool them down, put a layer of oil on them them season them with my favorite seasoning and bake them in the oven for 20min on 180°c comes out perfect everytime
What a perfect meal. Meat and chips, or as I like to call it Chips and the meat. It's just thing to eat when you're hungry. There was one time when I was hungry. I couldn't be bothered cooking so I ordered a home delivery takeaway of chips and the meat. While I was waiting for it to arrive I sat down to watch an episode of Quincy M.D. where someone died of V.D. or something and it was getting out of control and that lot, I can't really remember but it was a good episode and I did enjoy it. Fumbs up.
Wow Kay, it’s like you read my mind! This is just what I’ve been craving, followed your recipe and it turned out exactly the same and was delicious! Big thumbs up from me 👍🏼 xxx
also for a recipe i have a easy and delicious one and i doesn't cost too much you get 1 or 2 half the ingredients if your cooking with one garlic break like one of those long baguette ones slice down the middle but not throught the bottom and put them asside then with one pack of mince meat for 2 half of one for 1 put it in a pan and for more flavour i recommend adding a beef cube but break it up before adding it then once the mince meat is done cooking put the mice meat in the slit of the garlic bread add a layer of cheese (if you like) then put it in the oven for 30 mins and if it doesnt seem done do it for another 10 mins and thats it
I haven't been feeling well this week. I finally had energy to cook & this sounded really good. I gave it a try & it was really good! I seasoned the potatoes differently though.
@@scatgumby3215 she at least made an attempt at something that could be called a new recipe. Now she's just whacking out beans and chips and making a fortune off the ad revenue.
I am so happy to see you tonight here in Texas. We love beef and taters here too. No such thing as too many potatoes. On indefinite chemo and you help my appetite.
Hi Kay, you inspired me to try this recipe, but when i did, i accidentally mashed my spudtatas with my oofadoofa, when i was stirring them, how do you manage to do it so gracefully? Anyway, thanks for all your videos, i watch them with my friends and we have a lot of fun.
This reminds me of watching my mother cook when I was little and had time with my parents. I love you Kay! (TOM JONES FAN!) btw...there are hundreds of types of pepper. Freshly ground is best- (black is my favourite), not the dusty kind. Black and brown pepper start off growing as little green berries on a vine, then shrink as they dry out and get darker and smaller. the Brown ones are lighter than black because they grew larger and were a brighter green. They can be a fruit and a spice.
Damn. Watching this at 3:40 in the morning makes me hungry. That food looked absolutely fantastic. Can you try making macaroni casserol with minced meat anytime later? Keep on cooking Kay!
Your video just seems so wholesome and natural, the way it’s filmed and doesn’t feel like it has a strictly followed script just feels really homey to me. It’s honestly one of the only videos that has made me genuinely smile throughout. Keep posting and have a great day!
What beef cut did the butcher give you? Looked like something you'd want to slow cook. Try putting black pepper, salt, herbs, flour in a bowl, roll the beef in that first and then fry it super hot and then put that casserole dish in the oven with a beef stock cube dissolved in water to give it a sauce. After 3 hrs it'll be great with those potatoes done separately
you need to get the starch out of the potatoes to get them to crisp, once sliced put them in a collander and rinse them with water, once you fry them they will crisp i love you kay
Bellissimo! Saute Potatoes with tender beef and Jus from the Pan. I hope I can recreate it tonight but I like my beef rare so I might just flash it in the pan.
Kay, please can you make this? Ingredients: 2 medium-sized potatoes, boiled and mashed 200g dark chocolate, chopped 1/4 cup cocoa powder 1/4 cup powdered sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Pinch of salt Instructions: Start by boiling the potatoes until they are soft. Once cooked, peel and mash them until smooth. Allow the mashed potatoes to cool completely. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chopped dark chocolate in short bursts, stirring between each burst until smooth. Add the melted chocolate, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the mashed potatoes. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined. Place the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to chill and firm up. After chilling, take small portions of the mixture and shape them into truffles using your hands. You can also use a spoon or a melon baller to scoop out even portions. Roll each truffle in cocoa powder or melted chocolate for a smoother finish, if desired. Place the truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate them again for another 15-20 minutes to set. Once set, the Chocolate Potato Truffles are ready to be served. Enjoy these unique and delicious treats! Note: You can also get creative and add some chopped nuts or shredded coconut to the mixture for extra texture and flavor.
Just in time! I’m cooking dinner & needed something to watch. Thanks kay! Im making Swiss steak, mashed potatoes & garlic green beans. I’m sure it’s not going to be as tasty as your awesome cooking though!
First video I've seen of yours. I was born and raised in the UK before I moved, and it's videos like this that bring back nostalgia from a food point of view. Simple, tasty food with no messing about.
I think this was a good dish. Making the potatoes the way you did works really well. Like others have mentioned, maybe the cut of beef could have been different for tenderness. I have done beef in a similar way and found that if I cut it a little differently, it comes out a bit more tender. I think you did a good job Kay!
I think if you have a crock pot, brown the meat and put it in a crock pot and cook on low for a few hours, par boil your potatoes then fry em up after, once done then take beef and put over top. Will be less chewy and potatoes more done & crispy.
The chunks of meat probably needs a longer cooking time, to be tender. Also you can pronounce Oregano as you do, nothing wrong with that. Thanks for many enjoyable videos, always a treat.

Mmm unspecified ‘meat’. Is that the special stuff Kay?
Local meat for local people.
Well.. you know when that crackhead approaches people with those legs of lamb he stole.. 🤣
I hope the house pet that sometimes appears in these video's doesn't ever require the assistance of Mr Chinnery.
I reckon the local butcher might be Mr Briss. Nice to see him back in business again....

Your a star! Your cooking deserves to be in a restaurant!!!!!!!!
A meal isn’t complete without dried parsley! 😂
If you parboil your potatoes and slice them they fry up faster. You added brown gravy granules to the meat.
Can't beat some unspecified meat with chips 😂
And I thought I was stingy with salt😂😂😂 And thank goodness for that parsley garnish. 👍
Have you tried any other herbs Kay with your meals? Lots of yummy options
