All 100 Factory Presets on Fender Mustang LT25 Amplifier

- #mustanglt25 #fenderamps #affordableamps - In this video it takes me about 40 minutes to get through all 100 presets on the fender mustang LT25 amp. there are 100 factory presets in there now as well as 60 slots where you can put your custom patches. this is after the recent firmware update. My playing is not great but maybe you can get a good sense of what the amp sounds like. The audio is a mixture of recording straight through the USB cable as well as the mic that it was in the room with me while I talked.

I've watched a ton of videos on this amp but yours sold me. Definitely gonna pick one up after watching this.
@BJ Productions have you ever found out? I have the amp and just tweak the fender amps. I still only have the original 30. I also thought i could save new presets and still keep the originals. I know you can I just haven't figured it out yet. All that said this is now my favorite practice amp. The fender amps sound damn close to the real thing.

@@boosk2127 Good for you. I still like the amp. It's perfect for what I do at home. I've also figured most of the features. It's really cool to save ideas I come up with while practicing at home. I am wondering about using a looper with it. I'm used to old tube amps and don't know if the effects would record. Good luck dude!

You're going to love it my friend. Be sure to try it plugged into a sound board at some point from the headphone out. Sounds very nice in stereo. That amp packs a big punch for such a low price!

Tony I have the LT50 and its buzzes and hums like your amp so I tried what you said in one of these LT25 videos and put a $30 Donner Noise Killer in front of the amp and it totally killed all the hum on all the amp models. Very enjoyable amp now and I can use the compressor too. I sure wish they would come out with a firmware update to deal with all the noise issues.
Coll that you posted this Adam. I ended up taking a slightly different approach - using the onboard noisegate on the LT25, and putting Behringer Tube Screamer clone (about $28) on the front end. Whatever gets the job done is the key. Thanks for sharing about the Donner. I'm going to buy one of those and try your approach as well!

There's a lot of awesomeness in that little amp. Be patient with it and tweak the amp and reverb settings. You'll find some sounds that will really impress you! Thanks for watching.
Tony Lee you can rock with the best of them. Great demo and chops. I've had this amp for a few years and love it for the most part. I find many of the presets to be repetitious though. How many classic rock or high gain presets do you need really?

Thanks! would you recommend this over the vt20x for home usage. Does the valve on the vox any substantial difference in sound quality? Do you know wich one delivers better sound throught headphones output? ease of use and achieve good sounds? I think if you consider do a comparinson between these two would be really helpfull for many people. Cheers!

Great video, your original run through of the then 50 presets was the final advice i needed before I got my lt25. Since Fender closed their forums, maybe someone here can help me out: perhaps it's just me being stupid but I can't find a way to save more than one list of 60 presets. I would like to have "My Amp Presets 2" and so on. Since it's only config, they could have allowed us to have almost unlimited amount of slots, I guess 60 should be more than enough really but wouldn't mind say, 200.
Mine is coming tomorrow. If I figure anything out, I'll let you know.
I know their newer GTX line has up to 200 but it's a 50 watt and about 200 more expensive.

Thank for helping us with all these Mustang L25 videos. We got three questions -
1. With so many choices, how do we hook up the footswitch to this amp and how does that footswitch work?
2. How do we hook up the amp to our computer to tweak all these settings?
3. Is it possible to plug this amp into your computer and record your own guitar track?

I'll make a video to answer your questions Rohan. Might be this weekend before I can post it. The good news is it's easy to do 2 and 3. I've honestly not hooked a footswitch up to the amp, but I have one of the Fender switches for my Mustang 1. I'll give it a test and see how it works.

let me explain to you about footswitch since i've buy 1 button FS from fender to use with this amp... you can chose which 2 presets on your amp to use with FTSW.. so when you push the button..it will change to 1st presets from 2nd preset that you save on the menu... it's like you have a clean tone 1st preset.. then when the chorus or solo, you can change to metal or any distortion preset that you save as 2nd preset... i hope you understand me since i'm from malaysia...
2nd Q - use micro usb data cable connect directly amp - PC .. but you must install the fender tone 1st... then for the 1st time... if connected, the software will show you how to update the firmware of the amp... so you can have 60 presets on the amp instead of 30 ...
3rd Q - i dont know... maybe mr tony can explain more..

I cannot load the extra 20 presets on the Amp Tony have you heard of a similar problem? I had no problem with the Computer Presets

There's a different version for Lt 25 called Fender Tone Desktop i think
You will need to connect to it via USB .
Just the mustangs work with Bluetooth you’ll have to install it on a mac or PC and plug in an android cable from ur computer to the amp to use it

I need help! I just got this amp and I don’t have a Bluetooth option in my menu, I can’t connect it to a computer, I can’t get it to connect through the app, and I can’t get the 20 extra presets. What do I do

Yes - If you can afford the LT50, then that would be the way to go. Both are great and flexible affordable amps.

Why do all the other reviews say 30 presets and 50 hidden ones? This would be so awesome if I could actually get this many tones out of this amp.
Update the firmware and you have many more presets

@@tonyleeglenn i just updated the firmware and seem to have less presets....any advice ? There was 30 slots with another 30 hidden presets when I chose the replace option now they are not there !

Hey Sebastien - just go to Fender website and download the new firmware. It will give you many new presets and the ability to use Fender Tone. It's fantastic!

From what I know, for this amp, the Fender Tone App will not work with it on a phone; only on PC or MAC. I wonder why.
It doesn't have Bluetooth.
It's still true 3 years after your comment, but Android is still considered mostly a phone and tablet OS. Anything serious regarding things like Firmware is shunted over to PC or MAC compatibility.
Can you download presets from the fender tone website and load it onto this amp? I'm looking at this amp, and it looks great. Probably will buy it thanks to your videos
I have not found a way to do that yet. There still may be something I'm missing though. I've spent a good bit of time with the software but not covered all the bases yet.

there is an online group for the GT and GTX series amps, but LT only has the ones that come with the Tone desktop app

What would a speaker upgrade for this amp?
Would you pick this over the vox vt20x? Any other suggestions in the ~150 price range?
For sheer sonic possibilities I probably would take this one over the Vox. But if you really crave tube type overdrive then I would still put the Vox ahead of this amp. I am a big fan of both amps. I own both and am happy to have them in my arsenal.

Greetings and thanks. Just wondering how useable this amp is without using the computer app at all.
Anything you can do with the app can also be done manually on the amplifier itself. I would say it takes about three times longer though because you have to scroll through the menus.

I don't know if it's mine or all of Lt25.
New beginner have this for one month.
I can't get a good chug out it.
Although I would add that I cannot go higher that 4 on my master volume to not disturb the neighbors.
But the sound is either clear or muddy.
I read too many guides for dial in amps it's getting better but not the tone I like to hear.
The rock amps are dirty and muddy and I mostly use clean amps with overdrive pedal for distortion and small Hal or Spring 65 as reverb.
Is it possible to save some of these settings into the main slots that are accessible from the amp. There are some that I wouldn't use and would want to replace. Thanks
You sure can do that. There are quite a few that I have gone in and changed.

Douglas Christine you have to have computer...dowlnoad fendertone, plug the amp, let it upgrade and there you go
@FalconerPhoto They were not there in the first place. Before the firmware update there were only 50 and fender tone was not usable.

Hey Alex - you can do it with the amp, but it's easier with a phone or computer. Just cooler to use the interface.

The gt40 is better cuz you can connect it with ur phone and edit it th lt25 doesn’t have Bluetooth
But the gt40 disconnected so its hard to find it in stock
