I used to love waiting for the Demo mode on the title screen, as it'd show the AI beating really hard complex levels that I'd never managed to reach as a kid

It's a shame Lemmings nowadays are nonexistent with the exception of Lemmings Touch for PSVita, if you even have a PSVita. But there is however a game on Steam that I highly recommend that has the gameplay style of Lemmings with a claymation art-style inspired by The Neverhood. It's called Plastiland, a game not a lot of people heard of, which is a shame because not only is it a fun game, it also fixes some of the more frustrating parts of Lemmings while still offering a good challenge.
I'm glad someone is covering this game. Content on it is sparse!

Oh man, I used to play Lemmings on the snes all the time. It's great to see the series getting some attention, it was so fun.

I vaguely recognised the artwork of a lemming with guns, but I'm pretty sure I've never played it or even seen gameplay of it before.

I could've sworn I commented on this video already...? Anyway, we had the original Lemmings game on PowerMac at my elementary school in the mid 90s. I became massively addicted to it (and subsequently became the most popular kid in the class when I searched online and found the passwords to each and every level, printed them all off and brought them to class - but I digress...)
I wanted to find a Windows version of the game I could play at home, and the only one I could find came packaged with...Lemmings Paintball. It also came with Oh No, More Lemmings! which I didn't explore as much for some reason. I was a bit disappointed with both Lemmings Paintball and the port of the original game - I found the presentation a bit lacking compared to the PowerMac version. And there was no password feature, so you couldn't even skip levels. I had a Genesis, so in retrospect I'm not sure why I didn't opt for the Genesis version instead - I think I was worried the controls would be clunky with a controller and it lent itself better to being played with a mouse.
I found Lemmings Paintball very difficult, possibly for the reasons you describe, and was confused by the massive departure in the gameplay style. I think I completed all of the Fun levels and about half of the Tricky levels and that was pretty much it.
The original game is so fun and unique, these guys are definitely due for a revival.

Never got into Lemmings. I like the idea, but it just seemed way too stressful for me to handle ^^;
I'm curious if we'll be seeing any future episodes with a review on Beyblades.

Hey, can you check out a couple more psygnosis games? They are called puggsy and wiz n' liz, they also reference each other. Puggsy is a puzzle platformer, and I don't know how to describe wiz n' liz, it's very unique. Both have really catchy music, and are both on the Sega genesis.

I always wanted to get this game when I was younger. I recently got this, and was kinda bummed out. It doesn't feel like a Lemmings game to me.
