Man, if we're talking great Sonic fangames, nobody ever talks about Sonic: Time Attacked anymore. It's super old, but it still holds up today, and still looks fantastic, as far as I'm concerned.

After the Sequel DX is incredibly buggy, the boss rush breaks after the first boss, you can move left/right while charging peelouts, gain control as he’s dying, the increased speed doesnt match the level design, among many more issues. I recommend version 1.1, not DX. You’re not missing out on anything major by playing the original, and you’re far more likely to have a stable experience Awesome video btw, I’m subbed to the other channel but just found out about this one.
I've recently been on a retro gaming grind again. And together with Stuff We Play (recommended btw) I must say 2018 is a great year for new and high quality retro gaming content, subbed! Big ups to ya!

Awwwwwww ;3; I wouldn't have been so disappointed had Sonic World not have made it on either - I guess it's personal preference but given you outright stated that Sonic World doesn't work for some people(I find it an incredibly buggy, not-optimized mess with questionable decisions), then why not recommend the game most likely to work on everyone's computer rather than the one that doesn't work on everyone's computer... ;3;

Ah yes, I remembered when I played my first sonic fan game, can't remember what it is, but it is a 2d rendition of Sonic Unleashed (with the most shallow level design i've ever seen). Eggman hates furries....I actually tried it out after seeing this video. I used to think this is some sort of shitty parody or smtg, but BOY WAS I WRONG. Easily the most intense sonic game I've played in a looooong time. Instant favourite. (Also dat ending tho) For other classic games, Sonic BTS and ATS are still my favs, tho looking back now the level design in those two games aren't.....spectacular..... Right now Sonic Time Twisted takes my first place :) For modern styled games....there's one old relic which I think many have forgotten is Sonic Quick Step Challenge. Its pretty much a recreation of Sonic Unleashed with a top down perspective. Quite faithful and fun for a fan game. Another fav is Sonic VS Darkness: True Nightmare Revived (what a mouthful) with its Sonic Rush-like gameplay and level design.

Sonic world Is great But Lacks alot of polish in my opinion wich is where the controls complaint comes from I guess. The developer is bacicly adding more and more stuff and doesn't really polish the game I've heard (If this isn't true take it with a grain of salt)
