Have you played any management/tycoon games? Or any of the recent ones like Parkitect or Planet Coaster? or even Two Point Hospital? Also sorry that it took me a little longer this time around, had some health issues to deal with that delayed the episode.
There's something of an irony in doing a medical-based management game for your latest episode...after dealing with health issues. Hope you're feeling better though! I love Theme Park and Theme Hospital, and have really enjoyed what I've played of Two Point Hospital thus far!
Railroad Tycoon 2 Gold back in the day, but only in sandbox. It gets funny when one of the scenarios was redone in real life as I Write this. Why redone? Because King County Metro killed off the interurban in the 40's, and Now the light rail is happening again under Sou8nd transit.
Pixelated Memories Yes! I’ve played OpenTTD. The original TT and TTD are great, but OpenTTD is free, better, and epic! You should definitely play it! And do a video on it because it’s just that good! Honestly it might even be a good choice for the Main Channel.
never had much experience with tycoon games but im glad theres a game that can keep me stressed because there's an epidemic of people that tilt their hat slightly to the right and if i dont cure it i will have to pay a fee
This game's intro cutscene legit traumatized me as a child. A patient is being rolled in on a bed to an operation room, the doctor from the game's cover art takes out a chainsaw, cuts the patient in half, and then tosses him into a dark hole. I know it was supposed to be humorous, but holy fuck did it mess with me.
I absolutely hated Theme Park which is the one I grew up with, but I totally dig Theme Hospital, and yes, supposedly Two Point does do a good job slapping a band-aid on that nostalgia fever.
Difficulty Spike? you really mean Difficulty rocket launch as soon you hit the car accidents where a helicopter drops a few patients that need to be treated asap is where you strats are put to the test... atleast for me i didn't got further from there since the game always slapped me into a game over.
I'm a sucker for games like this but have never actually played Theme Hospital. Two Point is on my wishlist but that isn't an option for me currently lol
this was the only one i really played, unfortunately something went wrong with my disc making level 3 instantly despawning every single patient immediately
I used to love management games and just like you I wasn't very good at them, unfortunately these days they just don't seem to have any console presence and I'm not a PC gamer so there aren't many options for me any more.
Even a shitty laptop can play these games these days, they don't require much processing power. So you can still get all these 90s games (or the open modded versions he mentions) as long as you have a PC or mac. Or hell even if you just have a tablet you can get these running on it with emulation

I did actually have this game when I was younger. It was the only simulation game I had.
I didn't understand any of it.

This just took a bit of extra time due to some health reasons.
I get it, I have depression which is a mental health issue, so I can kinda relate, just glad your posting again, also I like the intro intro
Giving someone a reality check, while also agreeing with them, is a mood.
