The animation in this game is actually way better than it should be. Yet it's also ironically perfectly suitable for a game set in a cartoon world. Have I ever mentioned I really love that crossover between reality and cartoons stuff like Roger Rabbit and etc? Because I do. So this is kind of up my alley.
The US boxart for the game actually features Drew Blanc on it, no idea why we got a different one in the UK. I remember buying this game for £5 in a bargain bin at Electronics Boutique in 1997, well worth the price of admission! The reason you found Ren and Stimpy music is because all of the music from this game was public domain, and also used in that show. For an adventure game with similar style, I’d go with the Curse of Monkey Island. A lot of hardcore MI fans don’t like it but it introduced me to the series and I found it charming.
I always loved the aesthetic of this game, and Tress MacNeille really knocks it out of the park, as she always does. I'm bummed we never got the sequel, but at least Christopher Llyod was able to leave his mark on adventure games again as the older King Graham. Great video, dude. I was looking forward to this one.
Christopher Loyd, Ed Wynn, Rob Puslen, Tess McNeil, Dan Castilinetta, Kathe Siouce, Jim Cummings, Tim Curry, and Ben Stine (and that's all i just heard sure there is more) all in one deliciously zany point and click??? Rev-up that time machine Doc cause we are going BACK TO THE PAST!
I'd love to see you review the Cluefinders games and Carmen Sandiego Word Detective. And Scooby Doo And The Glowing Bugman. And The 7th Guest, The 11th Hour, Goosebumps: Escape From Horrorland, and Are You Afraid Of The Dark: The Tale Of Orpheo's Curse. Couple of these games would be good for October. Also, the Christopher Walken Dalek was a riot. Also is it just me, or does Bric-a-brac sound like Ed Wynn?
Honestly, your mask tool special effect looks better than anything I could do. As you can tell from my videos, my special effects are not good. Even Paper’s Please: Episode 1 & 2, my best video’s, are nowhere as advanced as yours.
I will take this opportunity to recommend LucasArts' lineup of adventures, specifically Day of the Tentacle, Sam & Max - Hit the Road and Monkey Island I-III (Secret of Monkey Island, LeChuck's Revenge and Curse of Monkey Island). They're available on GoG as well. Alternatively I can also recommend Telltale's take on the Sam & Max franchise, but if you want something slightly more modern gameplay-wise then give The Wolf Among Us a shot. If you're a fan of Christopher Lloyd then they also have Back to the Future: The Game for you - an episodic sequel of sorts to Back to the Future. Personally I also love Daedalic's Deponia series, but I understand that it's a "love it or hate it" kind of deal, partially because some see the protagonist as unlikable. The latter are all available on both Steam and GoG.
The voice actors where what gave it that nostalgic feel even though I never heard of the game until I saw you play it on stream. I wasn't much of a PC gamer back then. So I didn't really know that point and click games where even a think for a long time. I am sad that I missed out on this gem. I would have loved it as a kid, but that farm moment... *has Vietnam flashbacks*
the last point and click I played was the book of unwritten tales series not as toony but it is packed with nods to old point and click plus other film references
This game is amazing! Loved it back then, enjoyed as much when got it on steam a year ago. Fluffy Fluffy Bun Bun and some other characters are voiced by Tress McNeille - she voiced Babs Bunny in Tiny Toon Adventures. She sounds amazing in this game too.
You said that you aren't usually a fan of adventure games. Have you tried any of the more modern ones, like Phoenix Wright or Danganronpa? Those aren't nearly as obscure in logic as the classics, and you may have a better time with them.

"You're not gonna look at farm animals the same way."
Ha! No worries G, I just finished watching BoJack Horseman.
Pepper Steak is an oddly fitting musical choice.

5:07 I'll get you next time Gadget, next time...
Technically, on the American box art, Drew IS on the cover, strapped into an electric chair
Yo what
Christopher Loyd, Ed Wynn, Rob Puslen, Tess McNeil, Dan Castilinetta, Kathe Siouce, Jim Cummings, Tim Curry, and Ben Stine (and that's all i just heard sure there is more) all in one deliciously zany point and click???

Oh and there’s Don DeLuise as Fingers the octopus, which his voice comes to mind of Itchy from All Dogs Go To Heaven or Tiger from An American Tail.
I’ve never heard of this game before. I’m too young to remember 90’s pc games, but this one looks really interesting and unique!
A Plunger.
6:07 You're Welcome
This game really could do with a sequel, as they left the perfect sequel opportunity.
Great Scott, a point and click game that I might look into and try out. Thanks for this vid about it man, now off to GoG I go :D
@2:51 You missed the chance to hold your arm out in front of the mask and say something like: "You still think it's a good effect?!"
I hear Elliot’s amazing voice,
I like!
One of my favorite games of the 90s, I absolutely loved it as a teen. I think I need to replay this soon.
You can tell that the quality for these videos are getting way better. This is a really impressive video, good job!

New Pixelated Memories!!! What a nice surprise to wake up to
Me:*Hears pepper steak in the background* I See your a man of culture.
I remember finding this game in the CDrom section of our public library. Wonderful memories.
Whoo! New Pixelated Memories! Nice one, Elliot. Keep up the good work!

2:38 yaaaa....Roger Rabbit this ain't
Wait, Chris Lloyd is in a world where humans interact with cartoon characters? He should be used to that
True. He did play Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. That came out in the 80's, this was made in 1996.
Yay! A new upload!
the streams of this game were amazing

Monkey island 4 and the tell tale series are not bad either. But 4 is definitly the weakest.

Holy crap this looks really good! I need to play this!
I would never be allowed to play this as a kid if my mother saw those disturbing innuendos back in the day!
It's always a pleasure to watch your videos, good job! I'd with you had way more views/subs.
the last point and click I played was the book of unwritten tales series not as toony but it is packed with nods to old point and click plus other film references

2:10; Whoa! Is that little inferno music!?

Love the Ace Attorney series :-)
flux looks like a sligoo to me... just with limbs
Neat! Pixelated memories uploaded! Keep it up bud
I really wish Toonstruck 2 would become reality
10:19 that's giving me babs bunny vibes
Favorite character so far?
similar point and clicks? how about The Neverhood?! :)
it's a blast and a half (the visuals, the soundtrack, it's wonderful)
this would be the result if who framed roger rabbit and sam and max were combined
and no shell
@Pixelated Memories Where can i watch the Streams of Toonstruck ?
Thank you you spoiled the whole game withput even a warning thanks really ...
A plunger.
