Pro-tip, don't use straight coconut cream. I used just the cream and it was too thick to flow down to the nozzle even after vigourous shaking. I'll have to try again with full fat coconut milk.
Love it thank you I bought one of these about two years ago and still have not used it but I will now thank you especially since I am avoiding dairy and can’t find nondairy whipped cream in our area
can also add spices and sugar to it for favouring...she did add Stevia...i used to make foam for cocktails using angostura, chocolate bitters sugar and coconut cream...cream has more fat which will come out thicker and hold its shape longer
Por favor comprei o Isis e confeitei a torta e em seguida levei para a geladeira e o Chantilly desmachou.Gostaria de saber se esta máquina funciona para decorar tortas?
Most canisters are stainless steel through and through. If you're worried about Al leaching in to the cream, there is almost no risk anyways due to the low temperatures involved, short contact duration and near perfectly neutral pH level of coconut milk. Cheers!
Have you tried making a whip cream with soy milk? Is it even possible? I'm looking into making dairy free whip creams for a personal project for work and I have a lot of people that just prefer soy so I was wondering if it's possible and, if so, how?
How long will the whipped cream last in that shape before deflating? I'd like to do this for a party and need it to last looking good and whipped before it's time for dessert.
They add thickeners such as guar gum and xanthan gum to commercial coconut milk. So it might not whip up to a foam without them. You can buy xanthan gum online but it would be easier to add some vanilla instant pudding mix to the coconut milk as this contains vegetable gum and is available at any supermarket. This will flavour it slightly, of course, but it should taste rather like crème chantilly. This link to a RUclips video shows you how to make faux whipped cream from milk and gelatin which will work for coconut milk too. You cannot use this method if you are a total vegetarian or Vegan as gelatin is an animal product but you can use agar-agar if you can find it. watch?v=C63dz2JlA9g
What am I doing wrong? My charger seems to run out with half of the cream still inside. I have tried using another charger but it doesn't seem to help force any more of the cream out of the can. I can't imagine that it is supposed to leave so much inside?
Mahima Kaned It depends on the container. Most are either 500ml or 1L. They have a “MAX” fill line. If you use less liquid it just overcharges the liquid and it tends to spray.
please help me! What did I wrong? My coconut milk wasnt liquid, so I made it warmer in warm water. After I filled it into the foam maker, but the foam was not hard, rather liqid. Opinions?
It needs to be cold ! Thats why you have to refrigerate the can over night before putting it into the foam maker ! :) She also says to shake the can really well before putting it into the fridge :)
I made coconut milk whip with one of these and then I tried to freeze it and it turned into solid ice. Anybody know how to get it to freeze soft like those tubs you buy at the store? Should I blend the ingredients in a blender first?
You’re not suppose to the freeze the coconut milk that will make the coconut have clumps. The coconut milk has to be full fat coconut milk with no emulsifiers in the ingredients list. According to the dozens of videos on this. Everyone else said refrigerator the can 1-2 days ahead. It’s suppose to separate. You pour out and use that but honestly I did this and everything it doesn’t come out at all. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong :/
I have found that unless you use some kind of thickener or stabiliser (vegetable gum or gelatin) with the coconut milk, it lacks body and quickly deflates using this method. A far better texture and flavour is obtained by using coconut cream which has a higher fat content rather than coconut milk.
I'm going to try this using coconut cream. I've been having a really hard time getting my new dispenser to work :( wasted 6 cartridges so far! A blog I read recommended adding coconut oil to up the fat content but that won't work for my situation because I will be refrigerating the dispenser in between uses and what happens is the coconut oil solidifies and clogs things up.
+Healthy Living How To the hell, you removed my comment to put in your lie? In the video you can clearly see it is not a Isi by the black label branding on the side of the stainless steel flask
+Healthy Living How To So your saying your demonstrating IsI cream chargers being compatible with a Wilton Brand whipped cream dispenser ..... Your video information should probably reflect that as to not confuse people further.
There are cheaper brands of gas cream-whippers than this. They range anywhere from $25 up to $60. Do a search using Bizrate. With almost everything being sold on the Internet these days, there is simply no reason to overpay for something like this. (Anyway the iSi is out of stock on Amazon, so why even consider it if it isn't available from the world's biggest Internet merchant and there are other brands available.)
Not trying to be rude, but you shook that literally about 30-33 times. Over-shaking is something that you can very well do, normally these instructions come with the product. other than that, great video!
You poured that coconut milk into the container like a BOSS! Thanks for the video... :)
lol my thoughts exactly 😂😂😂

YES! I didn't know about this gadget. I just thought we'd never have whipped cream again. The kids will be thrilled. Thanks for sharing.
Open cold can Upside Down, opening can from the Bottom. The water pours out first😊, coconut's easy to scoop out and doesn't mix with the water at all.
So cool, I need this thing
Amazing thank you !

Thanks for posting this. Just curious about inside of cans. Do they contain aluminum?

Yes! I've been missing whipped cream for years since going vegan!
I saw a recipe on here where you melted gelatin sheets
never mind I found the link, lol
Thanks

Mine is going on one day. I'll come back later if it is still good.
Mine came out as foam. Any suggestions?
Do you have to have guar to work?
Thanks! And it’s pronounced steevia like Steve
Can u use fresh homemade coconut milk?

+Vaughn Bringer Shake it more once it is charged.
Can you use coconut cream instead of coconut milk or is the canned coconut cream too thick?
I would like to know this too.
for some reason i have many cans of coconut cream. can i use that instead of coconut milk?
Yes you can :) and if you don't have her gadget you can also use a hand blender. I just made some yesterday with coconut cream
V.nice
Can we use 250ml liquid instead of 500ml ?

Attila Komlosi you need to let it chill. warm liquid is more energetic meaning it will spread faster and lose its surface tension

You gotta add sugar to the mix
what a price for cream charger
Zeba Hussain just look on Amazon. I would recommend a high quality one like ISI but they range from $30 to over $100.
yum!

Scott Butcher will
I actually figured out that plain old coconut milk with nothing added to it works. the coconut cream did not work!
Notthefather yeah it is...

Ain't nobody got time for that! No one besides you owns this whipping gadget.........

+Healthy Living How To the hell, you removed my comment to put in your lie? In the video you can clearly see it is not a Isi by the black label branding on the side of the stainless steel flask

This is an iSi Cream Whipper. See pics here: healthylivinghowto.com/isi-cream-whipper-pics
